Why would you need a disinfectant. While it sounds health conscious and a good thing in general to do, it may be unnecessary, unless you are having a skin problem. Again a skin problem will not appear if the body's defense wasn't weak to allow an infection to prevail in the first place. Also, the body, internally and externally, is made in a fashion that hosts (allows) microganisms to exist in a symbiotic relationship. They actually can be helpful to us. Probiotics for example. Using disinfectants, deodorants, talcum powder are hence considered interfering with that natural phenomenon of the skin and actually prove counter productive to your intention. Give it a thought! and bathe with fresh clean water. You may clean the bathtub once in a while including disinfectants but avoid to immediately use the bathtub in such a case.

You need to confirm your low cortisol levels with an overnight dexamethasone suppression test or a 24 hr urinary cortisol or a midnight salivary cortisol levels. If it is really low, then it has to be worked up properly to find out the cause & treated accordingly.

Hi, I'm a male and I have this white patch of dry skin in my groin area, where the top of my thighs meet my scrotum. It's almost silver in colour when the skin is stretched there. It doesn't itch but is flaky if I do scratch it, a lot of the skin peels off. I have it on both sides of my groin but it's more prominent on one side than the other. What could this be? I've recently (as of yesterday) been applying E45 to the area but it seems to only provide short term masturbation.

It looks like fungal infection, which is very common in sweaty regions like that. To prevent this, you got to keep this area dry. While taking bath, gently scrub to remove the dead tissue in the region regularly. It is advisable to taken bath regularly. By chance, you cannot have bath, then you can, at least, change you undergarments. Now, you can use anti-fungal creams like candid-b for a week. Use the ointment lightly, both morning and evening. Important thing if that, you should keep your nails trimmed all the times, to prevent spread of the infection. Regards

Hi lybrate-userto gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.

hello..only from taking nutritive diet you cant reduce your body weight...do regularly cardeo exercises preferable brisk walking.. drink warm water with lemon and honey early in the morning.. maximum intake of water and green tea.. avoid sugar and fatty food.. dinner it should be light maximum till 8pm.. whenever you feel you free then walk.. avoid your laziness for reducing fat from your body..

1) eat foods rich in protein like milk and milk product, eggs, chicken, meat. 2) eat energy dense foods like nuts, dates, potato, halwa, kheer etc. 3) eat fruits high in energy like banana, chickoo, sitaphal, mango, grapes. 4) eat two servings of pulses in a day esp. Soybean and urad dal. 5) have proper rest.

You are not over eight yet you complain of belly fat. Therefore I suggest that you start yoga exercises. Add some protein in your diet. For this purpose start eating 200 gms of sprouted and steamed moong with curd in your breakfast. Do not eat fired foods. Eat lesser quantity of sugar and instead eat dates, and dry figs etc.

My issue is overweight. How to reduce weight? I tried many ways like Gym (only treadmill and cycling), jogging, dieting. I did it for about 2 months and only 2 kgs were reduced. And then when I started the medication for my Pimples, it happened so that my weight increased to 120 kg. Also I tried with all types of medicines for Allopathic, Homeopathic and Ayurveda. It effected accordingly but the effect was on till I was having those medicines. I just want to know what to do about my overweight body and those Pimples. Please help me sir/ma'am.

Hi firstly never give up hope. Believe it is possible to be healthy and fit. After studying your issues. # issue no 1. You say that you lost only two kgs in two months. Actually that is a good rate. You should have continued. Why did you give up. That way you could lose 12 kgs in a year and 24 kgs in two years. Please do not look at the time when you want to reduce. That is the biggest hurdle. # issue no 2. If medicine for pimples is increasing your weight then stop taking it. Switch to homeo pathy. Usually pimples come due to age and diet. And they will go away. # issue no. 3. No medicine can reduce your weight. Please don't believe all these false advertisements/ prescriptions. # solution. Now I will talk about solution. Firstly believe that a simple diet + daily exercise will solve your problem. Don't just think of'weight loss' aim to become fit. Aim to run. Aim to be strong. Aim to be healthy. Aim to play. # monitor your diet. Download'myfitnesspal' app and record your daily intake of food and exercise and you will realise where you are going wrong. # eat small meals, eat 4-5 fruits daily, eat 2 kheera daily, drink two glasses of milk without sugar. # eat slowly, chew properly, don't gulp down food # drink one glass of water every hour from waking till sleeping # no more parathas or puri or pizza or burger, have plain - sukha roti or rice # take one katori dal + veggie with every meal try it for a month and then you can report progress on private consultation. Never give up. Keep taking one step after another and you will reach your destination!

To lose weight, you have to maintain an input-output ratio. Whatever food you eat contains the input calories which gives you the output calories in the form of energy. If your input calories is too much, you are likely to put on weight. The best way to lose weight is to exercise or spend the additional calories accumulated in your body in the form of fat. The other most important thing is to eat wisely. Try to cut down the excessive calories you are eating and make sure whatever you eat is healthy. Some tips to lose weight - 1. Have more fruits and vegetables than junk food and juices. 2. Avoid sugar as much as you can 3. Exercise 3-4 times a week. 4. Have an early dinner, preferably before 8 p. M. 5. Weight reduction: regular yoga practices and exercise are vitally important, especially for seniors and long standing obese. But only these two will not lead to weight loss until cut back on sugars and carbohydrates and weight reducing specific diet and herbal supplements. According to ayurveda, for treatmnet of obesity, you firstly stop causative factors from your life style. Like drinking too much cold water, eat too much sweets, day sleep, water after meal, lack of exercise, curd, menda etc. I will need your detail history. Till you can follow this * start drinking hot water * stop day sleep * start any exercise in morning, like suryanamaskar, walking, joging, sports * drink juice of turmeric n ginger with honey * take jau barley, instead of ghenhu wheat. * use cow ghee n milk only * boild rise in open pot, don't use cocker. Withdraw water if rice we are offering ayurveda course for obesity.
