Hi incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating.

You follow 7 days diet plan in which you can loss 3-5 kg in week. 1st day - in morning 1 glass of lukeworm water with 1 spoon alsi powder or 1/2 spoon methidana powder then walk for 45 minutes. Every 2 hrs you take fruits except banana n in lunch n dinner time take dal + salad then 2nd day in breakfast take boiled potato n vegetables place of fruits n lunch n dinner same as first day then 3rd day take mixture of fruits and vegetables n lunch dinner same then 4th day take 3 glass of milk n 6 banana lunch n dinner same then 5 th day take 1. Cup boiled rice n 6 red tomato only 6 day take 1 cup boiled rice n vegetables (boiled / raw) 7 days all foods can you take. N drink lots of water.

Two glasses of milk contain around 14 gram of protein while the polyunsaturated fats in almond add those extra calories when included in the everyday diet. Crush a handful of almonds and add it to the boiling milk. Simmer it for five minutes. You can sweeten it with a tsp of sugar. Then, pour it in a glass and sip it slowly. To make it more effective, you may put in dates and dried figs in the boiling milk. Drink it twice daily for two months.

Hi lybrate-user here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit.

I am a hypothyroid patient. I am using thyrox 125 for last one year. Now my tsh is normal i. E. 1.0. But from last one month I am feeling tingling at one side of face and head and my weight also decreased by 5kg in one month. My face and eyes are facing allergy. Lot of tiredness and when I sleep facing tremors. What is this? My physician has prescribed to reduce the dose of thyrox to100mg. Is it due to drug overdose. Hello your new symptoms can't be directly linked to overdose. It would be wise to check thyroid profile always as t3, t4 and tsh. Your current tsh levels are nml and not reduced beyond normal limits to suggest overdose. Many patients continue to develop new symptoms of hypothyroidism despite being on medicine and being in control. The doubt of overdose can be easily cleared by reducing the dose for a couple of weeks and rechecking levels. If your symptoms reduce, voila! if not, it only suggests that though blood reports indicate control, the disorder within the body still continues, causing new symptoms to appear. Hypothyroidism is a disorder where the thyroid cells are secreting lower than nml levels of thyroid hormones ie. T3 and t4. This lowered levels send a signal to the brain causing tsh, the controller of thyroid gland, to increase and stimulate production to meet the demand. Once the demand is met and t3 and t4 levels normalise, tsh will return back to nml. This is how the body repairs automatically when it is healthy. However, when the body's ability fails, this compensatory mechanism too fails and disorder persists. Thyroid replacement therapy, like the one you are on, keeps managing the effects of the internal disorder but doesn't do anything to correct it. And hence the lifelong need of these medicines. Only a medicine that can correct the deeper pathology, as with homeopathy, where the bodys ability to repair is restored, the disorder can be resolved. Give it a thought! meet a qualified homeopathic physician in person if interested. And yes, do not change your current dosage without consulting your doctor.

no particlar food in isolation can cause fat loss. And since you already have hypothyroudism your metabolism is low so crashing intake will further reduce and you will not lose any weight. So eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets and pills will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.
