This stuck up thing is due to the dryness in the mouth as dry mouth does not sense what it has to you feel like stuck sensation so for thisyou need to do first thing you should get thyroid testing done, and than you may need to hydrate up your body because any symptoms of throat comes with symptoms of nose also dear the symptoms you are getting are due to dryness of the mouth, this is because of lack of mucus in the mouth which is protective layer of our mouth, and is being produced in the mouth by glands which will be helped by good and healthy blood supply to the glands, blood with good blood cells will take oxygen to the gland and gland works, they require oxygen in ample of amount, so if you do not take iron diet on daily basis than this will lead to less of mucus production and hence lead to dryness and thick mucus problem, this thick mucus leads to irritation in mouth hence leads to itching in the mouth, start taking good iron diet on daily basis, and shakes, avoid salty and spicy food.

Pain in teeth can be caused by many things like it can b due to-- 1-dental cavities which are deep enough to expose pulp (nerve) causing its irritation leading to pain and infection, 2- gum problems 3- any trauma to tooth 4- pain due to tmjoint. For better diagnosis and treatment plan visit a dentist for full clinical examination along with xrays. (as without seeing I cannot suggest you proper treatment).

In front teeth gap is producing now is 2 mm gap I won close the gap what should do sir.
Hi, The process of filling the gap between teeth is known as orthodontic treatment, wherein you will be required to wear braces (an appliance with wires) for anywhere between 6 months to 1 year, depending upon the exact condition of your teeth. However, this treatment will serve as a permanent solution to your problem. You teeth alignment will become better and your smile will improve, These days, braces, similar to the color of teeth (ceramic braces) have also become available which are potentially much better looking than the conventional silver appliances. Hope that helps.

Sir actually its better to stop using Nicotex since it also is a kind of addiction. You had to consult a physician for an opinion and then find a dentist of your choice to get treated for your mouth ulcers. Meanwhile use some topical ointments and gel like mucopain for ulcer.

I am a 34 yrs female. I have a very bad odour coming from my mouth. When I floss then also its there. No likes to talk to me closely. Including my husband. It is ruining my life. Can this odour be because of any internal stomach or body dysfunction problem. Please help me.

BDS
Dentist, Mumbai
Bad breath can be due to various reasons. If you have bleeding gums or tartar accumulation on your teeth, a dental cleaning will help you overcome the problem. If you have any other issue like constipation or acidity or sinusitis etc, you need to get the root cause of the problem treated. In the meanwhile you can use any over the counter mouthwash and maintain a good oral hygiene which will reduce the bad smell to some extent.

I am 60 years old. If there is pain, there has to be a cause for it. Look out for any decay or any food lodgement in that area. Whenever there is decay in tooth it initially causes sensitivity, but if your decay is deep and extends till the nerves of the tooth then you may feel pain in the tooth. Treatment of superficial decay is filling and deep decay is root canal treatment. Another cause of pain in tooth can be spacing in between two teeth leading to food lodgement which ingresses into your gums and causes pain. You can get this problem treated by having a deep cleaning of your gums and some necessary measure to close the gap depending on hw much of gap you have. please consult your doc and get the problem diagnosed so that you can obtain suitable treatment. For temporary relief you can take some over the counter pain killers which suit you.

Your Bridge can be easily removed without any major risk to your natural teeth by cutting the bridge in pieces. You will surely end up losing the bridge but the risk to natural teeth will be minimised. Once your bridge is removed the exact cause of pain can be ascertained and treated before placing new crowns.

Persistent bad breath or a bad taste in the mouth may be a warning sign of gum (periodontal) disease. Gum disease is caused by the buildup of plaque on teeth. Dry mouth also can cause bad breath. Smoking or chewing tobacco-based products also can cause bad breath, You may need deep cleaning & fill tooth cavities with artificial enamel filling. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash until then. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. You may consult me in person.

If the mouth ulcer is causing a lot of pain, gently rub a small ice cube over the spot or rinse your mouth with ice-cold water. You could also chew on a clove bud (lavang) and direct the juice generated to the area where the ulcer is located. Clove buds are a great ingredient to cure sore throat too. To prevent the ulcerated area from getting infected, make it a point to rinse your mouth with a little salt water. Remember, this won’t make the ulcer disappear, but it can help reduce the pain. Honey is a natural humectant. It helps reduce scarring and hastens the process of new tissue growth. This, along with its anti-microbial effect ensures faster healing of the mouth ulcer. Chew a few leaves of tulsi along with some water about three to four times every day. This will help in getting rid of ulcers faster and also have a preventive action against their recurrence. Applying a little coconut oil directly onto the mouth ulcer or chewing some coconut (fresh or dry) helps reduce pain and inflammation and hence, ulcers heal faster. Mix some sugar to crushed khus-khus seeds and consume this mixture for instant relief from ulcers. You could apply a little ghee directly to the ulcerated area, or drink a glass of buttermilk two or three times every day. Mouth ulcers left untreated generally go away in a week or so; with these home remedies, you can expect faster relief. However, if you notice an ulcer in the mouth that is persistently present although it does not cause you any pain, do not neglect it or try to treat it with home remedies beyond a few days. Make it a point to see a doctor soon because often, a painless mouth ulcer is one of the earliest signs of oral cancer.

Asking your doctor if an antiobiotic medicine can be taken is advisable as it can help in reducing the infection and swelling. It can also be taken after the treatment for faster healing.
