Dear sir, we need to know the stage of hepatitis b. Not all patients with hep b need treatment, some only need close followup. We need to see him and do some tests to know the stage and accordingly treat if needed. Hep b does not spread by touching and sweat, it spread by blood contact, iv drug abuse (sharing needles), from mother to baby and during intercourse if the partner is not protected. Meet me for further information.

Dear sir, fatty Liver is largely a benign condition. Usually it is related to alcohol abuse, or in patients of diabetes, hypertension, obese, high cholesterol either singly or in combination. But you need to be investigated to see for a possible liver damage. Management is largely control of above diseases, dietary changes and exercise. Please show to a hepatologist or Gastroenterologist.

My fathers age 56 is suffering from liver cirrhosis If there any treatment in Ayurveda because allopathic treatment is not affecting the recovery.

MD - Internal Medicine, DM - Hepatology, Fellowship in liver transplant
Hepatologist, Jaipur
Dear sir, Ayurveda will not help either. Cirrhosis is curable to some extent if the cause can be removed like alcohol, Hepatitis B C etc. Cirrhosis is a life threatening disease. Please show to a hepatologist. At one stage Patient may need liver transplant.

My cousin she is student of nursing. 2 months before while working in hospital she got pricked with hepatitis b positive infected needles. After that she immediately had her blood test on the same day. There was nothing to worry in her test. Is she safe from that or she should have her blood check again?

Usually Hepatitis is not very serious, but rarely it can cause chronic Liver disease or liver failure. One can have two causes in a patient. Hepatitis D needed to be done in Presence of B only in some circumstances. Hepatitis can reccure.
