Take plenty of water in a day take atleast 2.5 - 3 litres. Take two glasses of water first thing in the morning before taking any thing including tea/coffee. Avoid taking tea/coffee on empty stomach, take it after taking some solid food. In the evening also take along with buiscuit or some such solids. Avoid spices/ chillies/mirchi/masala etc. Avoid outside food and avoid junk food. If you are constipated get treated for the same. If you are stressed out, try to relax by meditation/yoga etc. Take timely meals. Do not leave stomach empty for long, ideally it should be small frequent meals. Night food should not be taken full stomach. Leave atleast 1/4 to 1/3 stomach empty. Do not skip breakfast and take breakfast full stomach. Have morning walk so that the intestines will move. Good luck

Namaskar Sir, I had problem of blooded piles from around 3-4 years. Initially I had taken some ayurvedic medicine and blood stopped and I ignored the pile but then pile became large and those became third and fourth degree pile. In january this year I had undergone a combination of milligan morgan and cryo surgery. After that I had faced lot of problems initially with the bowel and I used to get traces of blood sometimes. After surgery I am facing some issue regarding gas. I have started a lot of gas after that. Although this gas releases but the thing is I do not take much spicy food and eat very simple food and do not get constipation too. Also even after 10 months I get traces of blood with stool sometimes. Is it ok or can it happen due to soft tissue? Whenever I had gone for examination and doctor examined the anal area everything was ok he said. Last time I had gone to him in june. Also tell about my gas issue, could it be a side effect of surgery? Should I undergo some examination?

Dear ,gas formation is not at all linked to the operation. It might be due to other causes.for persistant blood in stools ,plz take examined by expert surgeon .. Here are tips to prevent gas - Eat smaller meals;Don't overeat  -Limit fluids intake during meals. As it increases stomach distension.  -Avoid foods and drinks that trigger acidity (e.g. Fatty ,Spicy foods, onions, garlic, peppermint, chocolate, coffee, tea, citrus fruits or juices, tomatoes, cola or alcohol) -Stop smoking. & Avoid alcohol;Stress may increase stomach acids -Wear loose-fitting clothes.Tight clothes or belts can constrict your stomach. -Do daily exercise.like walking; It keeps you upright, allowing gravity to aid digestion -Don't lie down after eating.Wait at least 2-3 hours after meal before sleeping. Avoid late night snacks .Elevate the head end of bed by 6-8 inches. Sleep in left lateral position. HOME REMEDIES:.Dried ginger ,dried fennel or Ripened guava can speed up digestion of food  -TREATMENT: -Antacids, like SUCRAMAL/DIGENE/Mucaine gel, may give relief.  -For severe cases, tablet Pantocid –DSR/Sompraz-D/Rabicip-D.These are taken twice daily before meals as these reduce acid production in the stomach.

General Physician,
Suffering from IBS from 1 year need a diet chart helpful for IBS taking rifagut 400, nexpro Rd, liv52ds, nurokind sin...
The most common dietary treatment for IBS has been, and still is, a high fibre diet. While this is still a positive recommendation for many patients, especially those who suffer from constipation, some patients will not benefit from an increase in dietary fibre, and in some the symptoms may even worsen. As with any change in diet the increase in fibre should be gradual, involve a variety of fibres and an adequate fluid intake of at least 1.5 litres per day. The major sources of fluid should be water, but dilute tea or juices may be suitable in some patients. Caffeinated drinks such as coffee, and carbonated soft drinks can aggravate symptoms and should be limited, especially in the initial stages of dietary modification. IBS symptoms tend to be increased following large meals, particularly if the meal is high in fat, and if the meal is eaten quickly. It can be helpful to spread the food over 3 meals and 3 snacks per day. Avoid eating quickly and try to relax after a meal. Regular light exercise can also help reduce symptoms. A typical meal plan for IBS sufferers This meal plan provides 25 - 30 g of fibre from a variety of sources and 30 - 35 g of fat depending on the quantity of added margarine, oil and fat content of dairy foods. Breakfast - a bowl of high fibre cereal such as untoasted muesli, weetbix or porridge with fresh or tinned fruit and reduced fat milk or a calcium fortified soy milk and/ or wholemeal or grain toast with minimal margarine and honey or vegemite. Tea. Lunch - sandwiches made with wholemeal bread with low fat cheese, lean beef, tinned fish and salad. Tinned or fresh fruit with low fat yoghurt. Water, tea or diluted juice. Main Meal - water, lean grilled chicken with lemon juice and pepper. Served with salad, boiled new potatoes and wholemeal bread. Snacks spread throughout the day - fresh fruit, low fat yoghurt, crackers with cheese, or wholemeal crumpets with honey. Water, tea or diluted juice.
