Abdominal cramps can be due to many causes like dehydration, calcium deficiency etc. So pregnancy will not be my 1st diagnosis. My suggestion is that you wait till your expected date and if you do not have your periods by 3-4th july, then you can start thinking about pregnancy. If you need any further help, you are welcome to contact me anytime.

The most common cause of swelling in breast in your age group is fibroadenoma. It is in the form of lump in one or both breast. Usually is is painless but some times pain could occur. You should go to gynecologist for proper checkup. Wear appropriate size brassier[ neither too tight nor too loose]. Sleep at night without it.

Hello, being overweight can cause irregular ovulation due to increased insomnia resistance and hence weight should ideally be reduced and periods regularised before natural conception is planned.

I and my girlfriend had unprotected sex after her 10th day from her date. I didn't released my sperm inside and I didn't inserted my penis deep on her. Does she get pregnancy? If "yes" what precautions should I take to break.

If your girlfriend missed her period then there is a chance that she may be pregnant. There is no such thing as a safe period in young and fertile women. All days of the cycle can be considered ‘risky’ although the risk is highest midcycle (9-20th days). The only way to determine if your girlfriend is pregnant is to do a urine pregnancy test with an early morning sample of urine – this means the first sample of urine when she wakes up as this is the most concentrated sample of the day. If this is positive you will need to see a gynaecologist to discuss what you wish to do further. If the test is negative I would suggest that you wait for 15 days before repeating the test. If that one is also negative you will need to see a gynaecologist for help with further tests and treatment. The technique you have used is called the withdrawal technique for contraception. This is acceptable within long term relationships where the couple do not mind getting pregnant. It has several drawbacks including a high failure rate, sexually transmitted infections, poor sexual satisfaction and a high degree of worry or concern due to the risk of unwanted pregnancy. When the penis is erect a small amount of secretion from the glands allow for lubrication of your urethra. There may be a small drop of secretion at the tip of the penis which may not be seen with the naked eye but this drop contains over a million sperms – as you may already know you only need one sperm to fertilise an egg. When this happens around the time of ovulation the risk of pregnancy is high. In either case sperms can survive in the female genital tract for up to seven days. So please be aware that in young fertile women with regular cycles there is no such thing as ‘safe’ days where you do not need to use contraception. If you are certain that you wish to continue to be sexually active but do not wish to conceive you need better contraception than the withdrawal technique or even just condoms. Condoms will protect against sexually transmitted infections for peno vaginal intercourse but have a high failure rate where prevention of pregnancy is concerned. Please see the doctor to discuss more reliable methods of contraception so that you do not have to worry about an unwanted pregnancy and its risks in future.

Hello, This is an intrauterine contraeptive device which is placed inside the uterus so that pregnancy doesn't occur. It is non hormonal and free of side effects and offer protection for next 5 years. In case you change your mind then it can be just removed and you can become pregnant again.

Unlikely but I would advise you both to use an effective form of contraception to prevent unwanted pregnancy. Also in the event that you miss your next period please get a pregnancy test done.

As you already success rate of ivf is 40-50 % that too depend on lot of factors. You can go for next et after 3 months. You are already taking all the medicines for it, this may be probably due to fall in hormone levels, mainly estrogen as age and menopausal years increase.
