Low platelet counts have a range of medical causes. There are two broad causes: reduced production of platelets or raised breakdown of platelets. I have been suffering from shoulder pain for the last four years. I am advised to go for shoulder replacement. Is there any alternative way.

I have been suffering from shoulder pain for the last four years. I am advised to go for shoulder replacement. Is the...
Most shoulder problems fall into four major categories: Tendon inflammation (bursitis or tendinitis) or tendon tear Instability Arthritis Fracture (broken bone) Other much less common causes of shoulder pain are tumors, infection, and nerve-related problems. Treatment generally involves rest, altering your activities, and physical therapy to help you improve shoulder strength and flexibility. Common sense solutions such as avoiding overexertion or overdoing activities in which you normally do not participate can help to prevent shoulder pain. Remedies... Cold Compress..... The simplest yet most effective tip in the list of home remedies for shoulder pain is cold compress as it can provide you with relief almost instantly. The cold will be able to help you numb the affected area, thus alleviate pain and inflammation..... Take some ice cubes into a bag of plastic and have the bag wrapped in a towel. Apply the pack directly onto the affected area for about 15 minutes. Perform couples of time every day in several days. Hot Compress.......... Similar to cold compress, it is also an extremely effective tip from the list of home remedies for shoulder pain which can bring you instant relief from swelling, inflammation and pain. It is recommended to use hot compress after the injury has occurred for 48 hours. This compress is also effective at easing the pain from muscles which are stretched out.Take a hot bag and fill it with hot water then apply directly onto the shoulder for about 15 minutes in a comfortable lying position. Perform couples of time per day. Also you can use the shower to run some slightly hot water over the shoulder for about 10 minutes. Maintain a still standing position during this time. Additionally, you might enjoy some hot shower twice every day. COMPRESSION.. You can use some kinds of elastic bandage or even a warm wrap which is easily found at the market. Have your shoulder wrapped for couples of day until the swelling and pain are subsided. Additionally, you should keep the shoulder elevated using the pillow in order to improve the healing. Note: Do not wrap excessively tight as it might lead to inefficiency in circulation and make the condition worse. Take 2 cups of Epsom salt into a warm bath and dissolve. Soak your whole body including the shoulder under the water for at least 20 minutes. Perform 3 times per week Take some oil and warm it up then apply directly onto the shoulder. Have the muscles at the shoulder squeezed and pressure gently in order to alleviate pain as well as encourage flow of blood. After massaging for 10 minutes, take a warm towel to apply onto the shoulder for maximized effect. Perform couples of time every day. Avoid massaging the affected area in case it incurs pain. Take 2 cups of vinegar into a warm bath. Soak your body including the shoulder under the water for at least 20 minutes. Perform once every day in couples of day. Also you can consume 1 tablespoon of vinegar mixed in warm water with some honey for twice every day in 1 week. The use of blackstrap molasses to reduce shoulder pain has been tested for many years. Even though there has not been a final conclusion yet, it is highly possible that its magnesium content is responsible for its benefits. You will speed up shoulder pain treatments at home very well. Another way to maximize the results for bruished shoulder is to use molasses with apple cider vinegar. How to do: You would need molasses (1/4 cup), apple cider vinegar (half a cup), honey (half a cup) and ground ginger (1 teaspoon). Mix all of them in water Consume it regularly every day USE NO PAIN OIL

In fact, it is completely normal to experience breathlessness when you go over your usual level of physical activities or when you climb up somewhere with high altitudes and lack of oxygen. In that case, you just need to rest for a while then your breath will start to normalize. However, there are health problems whose symptom is breathlessness such as chronic bronchitis, allergies, anemia, some diseases or infections of the respiratory system and heart diseases. Also people with lung cancer will constantly experience this symptom. The first and most recommended tip from the list of home remedies for shortness of breath is certainly diaphragmatic breathing. Also known as deep breathing or abdominal breathing Lie yourself down on the back, take your hands and put on abdomen while relaxing the muscles. Inhale deeply by the nose, enlarge the abdomen and inflate the lungs with air. Keep the breath for few seconds. Exhale slowly by the mouth and deflate completely the lungs. Perform for 5 – 10 minutes in 2 to 3 times per day. 2......Take a seat comfortably while relaxing the shoulder and neck’s muscles. Press both your lips against each other tightly but leave the center of the lips loose. Breathe in for few seconds by the nose. Breathe out gently and slowly by the pursed lips and count to 4 in your head at the same time. Perform the breathing in and out for 10 minutes more. 3......Take a bowl and fill it with extremely hot water. Put in some essential oil like peppermint or eucalyptus oil. Put your face above the bowl with a towel over the head. Breathe in the steam deeply for couples of minutes. Perform whenever you are suffering from nasal congestion. 4......Consume 2 – 3 cups of ginger tea every day. In order to prepare the tea, take a tablespoon of fresh ginger slices into some boiling water. After simmering for about 10 minutes, have it strained and put in some honey then consume slowly. 5......In case you are experiencing breathlessness due to anemia which comes from deficiency of iron, then beetroot from the list of home remedies for shortness of breath is the perfect choice for you. Take a medium-size beetroot with 3 carrots, some spinach and ½ a sweet potato to extract their juice. Then consume once every day. Another way is taking 1 – 2 beetroots to roast. Let them cool down then peel the skin. Consume with pepper and salt. Also you might consume more foods which are rich of iron in your daily diet. camphar oil..... You can either sniff its aroma or use it to massage the chest area in order to enjoy its benefits.

Water flushes out toxins including excess uric acid from the body. Have at least 10- 12 glasses of water daily. Cherries also neutralize the acids and help prevent inflammation and pain. 200 gms per day is very effective in bringing down uric acid. Malic acid in apple neutralizes uric acid and thus provides relief to the sufferers. You should consume one apple daily after a meal. The citric acid found in lime is a solvent of the uric acid .The juice of half a lime squeezed into a glass of water should be taken twice daily. The most common cause of shoulder pain and neck pain is injury to the soft tissues, including the muscles, tendons, and ligaments within these structures. In some cases pain arising from the shoulder may extend to the neck. When the pain is severe, weakness is experienced in the affected area. The weakness tends to occur mainly when movement of the affected area causes pain and discomfort. In some cases, the nerves of the area may suffer damage and this could also lead to weakness. During an examination, the doctor will attempt to identify whether the weakness is due to muscle or nerve damage or due to inability to move the area due to pain. When the nerves are bruised or pinched, normal sensation in the area is affected. In case you are not sure what has caused the shoulder pain or what kind of treatment you require, it is best to have yourself medically examined. If you find it difficult to simply move the arm or use it, and cannot carry objects because of the pain it would be advisable to consult your doctor. Medical care is also necessary if the pain occurs at night or at rest, when the pain persists for more than a few days, when there is considerable swelling or bruising, when there are signs of infection such as warmth, redness and fever, and if any other unusual symptoms are experienced. The best treatment in case of mild shoulder pain is rest. Resting the injured area allows it to undergo healing. Two or three days of rest is adequate and may then be followed by light exercise of the area. Ice compresses are also beneficial in alleviating sprains and strains. However the ice must not be placed directly on the skin. It is best to place some ice cubes in a plastic bag and then wrap the bag in a towel. This may be placed on the affected area for about 15 minutes after every two hours. Hot compresses help in treating pain and swelling, but must be used only after the first week. Keeping the area elevated also helps in treating shoulder pain as it relieves swelling. You can rest the area on some pillows. Care should be taken while exercising so that excess strain is not exerted in the shoulder area. Your diet should consist of lots of fresh green vegetables and protein rich foods as these help to strengthen the muscles. Individuals who suffer from arthritis should ensure that their diet supplies them with omega 3 fatty acids as these are beneficial fats that help in reducing pain. These fats may be obtained from oily fish such as tuna and salmon. Nuts and seeds also contain omega 3 fatty acids.

A poor diet that is high in simple carbohydrates causes weak muscles, bad posture, and lethargy. A poor sleeping posture can lock your body in a bad position for hours, causing reduced blood flow to the local muscles, and a buildup of lactic acid, causing stiffness. Living or working in a cold or damp environment causes muscles to stiffen because the cold or damp affects the blood flow throughout the body. Be sure to get ample deep sleep so your body can repair and recharge. Do some easy stretches while lying in bed, then sitting up in bed, such as bending to the front and sides. This will stretch and loosen the muscles and help flush them with more blood. Take a hot shower. This serves as a means to induce sweating, promotes blood circulation, and releases muscle spasms. Simply stand under the hot water and… relax. take 3 fruits mix in the morning . Eat healthier. Cut down on simple carbohydrates and start reading labels to avoid consuming more toxins. Simply eliminate all foods with artificial color, enriched white flour, and artificial flavors/sweeteners (high fructose corn syrup, crystalline fructose and aspartame). If you don’t know what it is, or have difficulty pronouncing it, avoid ingesting it.

I am 25 years old I has body pain and joints pain last 5 days. Pls give what a reason it and recover instruction.
The cause of this for many people comes in the form of arthritis, or the inflammation of one or more of your joints. There are two main kinds, osteo and rheumatoid, both of which affect the joint in different ways. Turmeric & Ginger Tea.........Turmeric and ginger are both anti-inflammatorys.You can take these in a capsule form or make a nice spicy tea without milk and sugar to enjoy daily.-2 cups of water -1/2 teaspoon ground ginger -1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric -Honey to taste 1/2 cup of Epsom salt -A large bowl -Warm water Directions Fill a large bowl with warm water and add ½ cup of Epsom salt. Stir it around, and then submerge your sore joints in the liquid. If you are experiencing pain in a less convenient place to soak, such as your knees, try taking a bath with Epsom salts. Run a tub full of warm water and add 2 cups of Epsom salt. Soak for 15 minutes (at least.) Get more magnesium. Rub a bit of olive oil onto your sore joints twice a day, massaging in to each one gently. You can also take 2-3 tablespoons daily, but be sure to give up some other form of fat due to the high calorie count in the oil (rest easy, these are good calories.) Going for a brisk walk-start with 15 minutes and work your way up into a solid daily routine. -Doing joint-targeted exercises-certain stretches and exercises specifically target joints to help rid them of stiffness and pain. take steam bath and oil massage.

You can suffer from neck pain for a variety of reasons. The main cause is muscle tension and strain that can be due to poor posture, working at a desk for long hours without taking breaks, sleeping with your neck in a bad position and jerking the neck during exercise. Take a hot bath or shower to relax your sore neck muscles. Rub some lavender oil on your neck and shoulders. Apply gentle pressure in small circular motions to massage the affected area for 10 minutes. Repeat daily as needed. Ice is one of the simplest remedies for neck pain. The cold temperature will help reduce inflammation and alleviate pain. A bag of frozen peas also works well. Put some crushed ice cubes in a plastic bag. Wrap the plastic bag in a thin towel. Put the ice pack on your neck for not more than 15 minutes at a time. Follow this remedy every two to three hours for the first 24 hours. Note: Never apply ice directly on your skin Soak a paper towel in apple cider vinegar. Place it over the affected part of your neck. Leave it on for a couple of hours. Repeat twice daily until the pain is gone. Alternatively, add two cups of apple cider vinegar to lukewarm bath water. Soak in it for at least 15 minutes. Do this once daily until you recover completely. There are a wide range of motion exercises that help reduce neck pain. Exercise will strengthen and stabilize your neck muscles as well as your upper back. Also, it will help to reduce stress. Slowly rotate your neck in a circular motion, clockwise as well as anti-clockwise, to help stretch out the agitated muscles. This may cause a little pain in the beginning, but it will ultimately help your neck loosen up and heal. You can also move your neck slowly back and forth as well as from side to side. Each exercise should be done five times per session, three sessions per day. If it hurts too much, don’t do the exercises and consult your doctor.

Respect your body limit; do not overstretch. As a beginner, you might be tempted to imitate your yoga teacher or fellow practitioner. But remember, each body has a different capacity and different flexibility. The idea is not to compete with anyone. Do only as much as you can or your body can take. It is a good idea to do at least 12 rounds of Surya Namaskars daily (one set consists of two rounds – six with the right leg, six with the other). However, as a beginner to this yoga practice, you could start with two to four rounds and then gradually go up to as many as you can comfortably do (even up to 108 if you can!) Ideally, the practice is done in sets. This will ensure that both sides of the body are equally used.

Hot drinks and hot or spicy foods can cause sweating after eating –also known as gustatory sweating. They raise your internal temperature, activating your body's cooling mechanism. Spicy food and hot drinks before bed can cause excessive sweating after eating and/or night sweats. No type of treatment gives permanent cure for treating gustatory sweat. Any type of therapy gives only temporary relief from the symptoms and nothing can cure the nerve disruption in the parotid glands.

Height is something which is decided by our genes, so we can hardly do anything about it. But you can do exercises, eat good food (a balanced diet), stay calm and tension free and everything will be alright. Try eating healthy foods, doing moderate exercise and taking proper rest. You may also try various Yogasanas such as Tadasana or Vrikshasana or any asana that stretches your spine. Get your postures correct. Never sit or walk with drooping shoulders. Your spine should always be straight. Try to be careful with the type of exercise you are doing. Do stretching exercises more instead of focusing in building specific areas of body. This way the body becomes relaxed and it acts as a catalyst to your growth mechanism. Do not try to do extreme weight-lifting as this will make your body stiff and work in those areas more than your height growth. Also, get optimum sleep everyday. Take rests and naps between work, eat regular meal along with nutritious fruits and veggies and let your body do the work.

Knee pain is a very common medical condition that occurs due to constant wear and tear of the knee joint. It can be experienced by older adults, young adults and children. Women are more vulnerable to knee pain than men. The exact location of the knee pain can vary. Pain can originate in any of the bony structures compromising the knee joint (femur, tibia and fibula), the kneecap (patella) or the ligaments and cartilage (meniscus). Knee pain can be localized or diffuse throughout the knee. Home remedies for knee pain. Applying cold compresses to the painful knee is one of the best and easiest ways to reduce pain and swelling. The cold will constrict the blood vessels, reducing blood flow to the affected area and thus reducing swelling. It will also give you relief from the pain. Wrap a handful of ice cubes in a thin towel. Apply the compress to the affected knee area for 10 to 20 minutes. Do this two or three times daily until your pain is gone. A bag of frozen peas also works well as a cold compress. You can opt for alternating hot and cold compresses as well for chronic pains. Mix two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in two cups of filtered water. Sip this mixture throughout the day. Drink this tonic daily until you recover completely. You can also add two cups of apple cider vinegar to a bath tub of hot water. Soak the affected knee in the water for 30 minutes. Do this once daily for a few days. Also, you can mix together one tablespoon each of apple cider vinegar and olive oil. Use it to massage the affected knee once or twice daily until the pain is gone. Crush a small piece of fresh ginger root, add to one cup of water and boil it for 10 minutes. Strain and add a little honey and lemon juice. Drink two to three cups of this ginger tea daily until the pain is gone. You can also massage the affected knee with ginger oil two or three times a day until you are satisfied with the results Add one-half teaspoon each of ground ginger and turmeric to a cup of water and boil it for 10 minutes. Strain, add honey to taste, and enjoy twice daily. Boil one teaspoon of turmeric powder in a glass of milk. Sweeten with honey and drink it once daily. Another option is to take 250 to 500 mg turmeric capsules three times daily. Follow these remedies daily until the pain is gone completely.

If you’re looking for a milk alternative, you’ll find “milks” made from soybeans, brown rice, almonds, coconuts, even almond-coconut blends. Here’s a quick primer to help you choose the milk alternative that’s right for you. Almond beverage Made from finely ground almonds and water, this nutty-tasting beverage has fewer calories than other non-dairy milks (original unflavoured: 60 calories per 250-millilitre cup; unsweetened: 35 calories per cup). Almond milk contains no saturated fat or cholesterol. Coconut milk Coconut beverages are naturally higher in fat than other non-dairy milks – one cup has 4.5 to 5 grams, nearly all of it saturated. However coconut’s saturated fat may have benefits. Coconut beverages are low in protein (0.4 to 1 g per cup). They are fortified with vitamins and minerals, so you’re getting similar amounts of calcium, vitamin A, vitamin D, B12, etc. To cow’s milk. To avoid added sugars, look for unsweetened products (50 calories per cup). RICE BEVERAGES Higher in carbohydrates than other milk alternatives and cow’s milk, rice beverages are made by blending partially milled rice (usually brown) with water. During processing, the carbohydrates break down into sugars, giving rice milk its sweet taste. Soy beverages Made from whole soybeans, soy milk is considered a nutritionally adequate alternative to cow’s milk thanks to its protein content, 7 grams per cup. Another plus: There is alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 fatty acid, in soybeans. One cup of soy beverage delivers 300 mg of ALA (women need 1,100 mg per day; men require 1,600).

Is daily drinking of a glass of milk or one cup of coffee harmful to our body? If yes, then can it be substituted by milk powder or any other similar product? I have suffered from gout, so will milk be harmful in that context to my body?

Gout is the most common inflammatory arthritis in men over 40 years. 1 Gout arises when uric acid builds up in the blood because the body either makes too much uric acid or cannot eliminate it effectively. However, the exact cause that triggers this accumulation is unknown. In the long term, the accumulation of uric acid leads to hyperuricemia, and this can generate the formation and deposition of monosodium urate crystals in the joints and/or kidneys A significantly greater reduction in the frequency of gout flares was observed for the group that received the enriched skim milk powder compared to the lactose control; Greater improvements in fractional excretion of uric acid and in pain, in addition to trends of improvements in tender joint count, were observed in the enriched skim milk group.
