I am 25 year old preparing for IES. I am suffering from shortness of breath since last year. Last year it was not as that must as now. It is gradually increasing day by day. It felt like i'm unable to take complete breath then I start yawning forcefully after some time I feel that yes now I am ok. I am very uncomfortable in this situation sometimes when m on my bed and if face this problem then I have to sit and then try to take breath again and again. May be my heart need more air I don't know please help me out. And yes I neither smoke nor drink.
In fact, it is completely normal to experience breathlessness when you go over your usual level of physical activities or when you climb up somewhere with high altitudes and lack of oxygen. In that case, you just need to rest for a while then your breath will start to normalize. However, there are health problems whose symptom is breathlessness such as chronic bronchitis, allergies, anemia, some diseases or infections of the respiratory system and heart diseases. Also people with lung cancer will constantly experience this symptom. The first and most recommended tip from the list of home remedies for shortness of breath is certainly diaphragmatic breathing. Also known as deep breathing or abdominal breathing Lie yourself down on the back, take your hands and put on abdomen while relaxing the muscles. Inhale deeply by the nose, enlarge the abdomen and inflate the lungs with air. Keep the breath for few seconds. Exhale slowly by the mouth and deflate completely the lungs. Perform for 5 – 10 minutes in 2 to 3 times per day. 2......Take a seat comfortably while relaxing the shoulder and neck’s muscles. Breathe out gently and slowly by the pursed lips and count to 4 in your head at the same time. Put your face above the bowl with a towel over the head. Breathe in the steam deeply for couples of minutes. Perform whenever you are suffering from nasal congestion. 4......Consume 2 – 3 cups of ginger tea every day. In order to prepare the tea, take a tablespoon of fresh ginger slices into some boiling water. After simmering for about 10 minutes, have it strained and put in some honey then consume slowly. 5......In case you are experiencing breathlessness due to anemia which comes from deficiency of iron, then beetroot from the list of home remedies for shortness of breath is the perfect choice for you. Take a medium-size beetroot with 3 carrots, some spinach and ½ a sweet potato to extract their juice. Then consume once every day. Another way is taking 1 – 2 beetroots to roast. The most common cause of shoulder pain and neck pain is injury to the soft tissues, including the muscles, tendons, and ligaments within these structures. In some cases pain arising from the shoulder may extend to the neck. When the pain is severe, weakness is experienced in the affected area. The weakness tends to occur mainly when movement of the affected area causes pain and discomfort. In some cases, the nerves of the area may suffer damage and this could also lead to weakness. During an examination, the doctor will attempt to identify whether the weakness is due to muscle or nerve damage or due to inability to move the area due to pain. When the nerves are bruised or pinched, normal sensation in the area is affected.In case you are not sure what has caused the shoulder pain or what kind of treatment you require, it is best to have yourself medically examined. If you find it difficult to simply move the arm or use it, and cannot carry objects because of the pain it would be advisable to consult your doctor. Medical care is also necessary if the pain occurs at night or at rest, when the pain persists for more than a few days, when there is considerable swelling or bruising, when there are signs of infection such as warmth, redness and fever, and if any other unusual symptoms are experienced. The best treatment in case of mild shoulder pain is rest. Resting the injured area allows it to undergo healing. Two or three days of rest is adequate and may then be followed by light exercise of the area. Ice compresses are also beneficial in alleviating sprains and strains. However the ice must not be placed directly on the skin. It is best to place some ice cubes in a plastic bag and then wrap the bag in a towel. This may be placed on the affected area for about 15 minutes after every two hours. Hot compresses help in treating pain and swelling, but must be used only after the first week. Keeping the area elevated also helps in treating shoulder pain as it relieves swelling. You can rest the area on some pillows. Care should be taken while exercising so that excess strain is not exerted in the shoulder area. Your diet should consist of lots of fresh green vegetables and protein rich foods as these help to strengthen the muscles. Individuals who suffer from arthritis should ensure that their diet supplies them with omega 3 fatty acids as these are beneficial fats that help in reducing pain. These fats may be obtained from oily fish such as tuna and salmon. Nuts and seeds also contain omega 3 fatty acids.

Stir it around, and then submerge your sore joints in the liquid. If you are experiencing pain in a less convenient place to soak, such as your knees, try taking a bath with Epsom salts. Run a tub full of warm water and add 2 cups of Epsom salt. Soak for 15 minutes (at least.) Get more magnesium. But remember, each body has a different capacity and different flexibility. The idea is not to compete with anyone. Do only as much as you can or your body can take. It is a good idea to do at least 12 rounds of Surya Namaskars daily (one set consists of two rounds â six with the right leg, six with the other). However, as a beginner to this yoga practice, you could start with two to four rounds and then gradually go up to as many as you can comfortably do (even up to 108 if you can!) Ideally, the practice is done in sets. This will ensure that both sides of the body are equally used.

Height is something which is decided by our genes, so we can hardly do anything about it. But you can do exercises, eat good food (a balanced diet), stay calm and tension free and everything will be alright. Try eating healthy foods, doing moderate exercise and taking proper rest. You may also try various Yogasanas such as Tadasana or Vrikshasana or any asana that stretches your spine. Get your postures correct. Never sit or walk with drooping shoulders. Your spine should always be straight. Try to be careful with the type of exercise you are doing. Do stretching exercises more instead of focusing in building specific areas of body. This way the body becomes relaxed and it acts as a catalyst to your growth mechanism. Do not try to do extreme weight-lifting as this will make your body stiff and work in those areas more than your height growth. Also, get optimum sleep everyday. Take rests and naps between work, eat regular meal along with nutritious fruits and veggies and let your body do the work.
