Hello. There is no medication or food for improving eye sight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens as your age is now 17 years so your number will increase little now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik after age of 18 years.

I am a student, I have to study a lot. So how can I care my eyes without any problems.
You can study as much as you want, problem is when you have irritation, headache, loss of concentration while reading. Still the time you can give a gap of 3-5 min after every 30 min of continuous reading to break the fusion of the eye muscles.

Operations done to remove the refractive error (power) of the eyes are known as refractive surgery. There are certain basic criteria that most patients need to fulfill before they can safely undergo refractive surgery. To enumerate, they are: (1) stability of refraction: the power of the eyes should have become stable for a period of 1.5 years minimum without any change. (2) curvature of the cornea should be tested by a technique which is known as topography. (3) thickness of the cornea should be measured by a test known as pachymetry. The minimum thickness required is 550 microns. (4) dilated retina evaluation: this is one of the most important tests that should be performed by a trained retina specialist. This test helps in detection of any offensive lesion on the central or peripheral retina. In case of any retinal abnormality, these should be treated before undergoing the surgery for number reduction. (5) there should be no pre-existent corneal abnormality. (example: corneal scar, opacity, defect, etc.) another important suggestion is that whenever you go for the assessment (the above mentioned tests), you should discontinue the use of contact lenses at least 4 weeks prior to the assessment. The reason for this being that use of contact lens temporarily alters the contour of the cornea. It takes around 3-4 weeks for the restoration of the original corneal contour after removal of the contact lens. Another important point is that you, as a patient, should be compliant to put post operative medication in your eyes for at least 2 months. There is bound to be some discomfort, watering, foreign body sensation, pain after the surgery in most cases-you should be ready to tolerate that. A leave from work for 7-10 days after the surgery should be generally sufficient. Last but not the least, you should set realistic expectations from this surgery. Though extremely rare, there is a remote possibility that the surgery may need to be repeated. Also, the need for subsequent treatment for the eye may be required. Thus, you should be compliant enough to trust and follow your eye specialist.

How to improve eye vision. my eye sight are very weak. please suggest some good and healthy food.
Diet for EYESIGHT Lutein and zeaxanthin are both important nutrients for eye health,6 as both of them are found in high concentrations in your macula—the small central part of your retina responsible for detailed central vision. More specifically, lutein is also found in your macular pigment – known for helping to protect your central vision and aid in blue light absorption—and zeaxanthin is found in your retina.Estimated daily dose of lutein is 10 mg per day, and at 2 mg/day for zeaxanthin. Both lutein and zeaxanthin are primarily found in green leafy vegetables, although zeaxanthin is far scarcer than lutein. Kale and spinach are two of the most lutein-rich foods, but you'll also find it in carrots, squash, and other orange and yellow fruits and vegetables. Both lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids called xanthophylls, which give plants and vegetables their yellow-orange color, and the name "lutein" comes from the Latin word "luteus," which means "yellow." If you remember this, it may help you pick out vegetables that are likely to contain higher amounts of these two nutrients. Egg yolk is another source of both lutein and zeaxanthin that is well absorbed by your body Most of the dark green leafy vegetables, previously recommended for a higher intake of lutein and zeaxanthin, have 15-47 percent of lutein, but a very low content (0-3 percent) of zeaxanthin. study shows that fruits and vegetables of various colors can be consumed to increase dietary intake of lutein and zeaxanthi It is also important to note that lutein is an oil-soluble nutrient, so if you eat the vegetables without some oil or butter your body can't absorb the lutein. Adding a little bit of healthy fat, such as olive oil, coconut oil, or raw organic butter, will maximize your lutein absorption. Lutein content in food Food Mg / serving Orange ( Raw) 0.2/1 large Egg 0.2/1 large Spinach (cooked) 20.4 / 1 cup Papaya(Raw) 0.3/1 large Turnip greens (cooked) 12.2 / 1 cup Green peas (cooked) 4.1 / 1 cup Spinach (raw) 3.7 / 1 cup Corn (cooked) 1.5 / 1 cup Broccoli (raw) 1.3 / 1 cup Broccoli (cooked) 0.8 / 1/2 cup Green beans (cooked) 0.9 / 1 cup

The watering of eyes is due to staining on eyes .While watching TV for long intervals continuously, eyes get exhausted. While watching TV make sure that the lightening in room is proper and you are at least at a distance of 10 Feet from TV to reduce and negate the effects. You can also reduce the intensity of the TV by attaching a filter or by getting an eye-friendly screen. Above all, one must try to reduce the amount of TV usage or take frequent breaks. Hello, now you should use spectacles and take Ruta 30 ch , 3 drops twice daily for 15 days. Use CMD2 eye drops, 2 drop in each eye twice daily. Do the below given exercises to strengthen your ocular muscles. Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing rather reducing the power of your eyes. Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

Eye strain, or asthenopia, is when the eyes get tired from excessive or intense use. It can be annoying, but it tends to disappear with rest. Although it’s not often a serious condition, eye strain could be a symptom of an underlying problem. Eye strain is known to cause fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and headaches The first thing you can do is change your environment and work habits. By doing this you can relieve the pain without spending money on treatment. If you work on the computer, try taking more eye breaks by looking down the hall or out the window, or by closing your eyes for thirty seconds. You should get your eyes checked at least once a year, especially as you grow older. Routine eye exams give you the opportunity to discuss with your Eye Specialist any issues you may be having, and they may enable you to catch any problems in their early stages. Homoeopathic medicine CINELUBE EYEDROPS ( HAPDCO) 3 times daily.
