There are no medications as per the latest medical research. Probably in the near future they could be developed. Keep fingers crossed till then. Medicines have been developed for cancers, AIDS, Tb etc after lot of research as well. I will be hopeful in the near future.

When I see a beautiful flower, It does not bring any change in quality of my life and the mind and heart remains the same, simply sad without any reason, unaffected by the presence of the said flower; similarly everyday when I go for a morning walk in a beautiful garden, I lack the feeling of being in a garden.I lack the feeling of the early morning sunlight, birds songs and slow breeze of air already present in the said garden. My this condition is since last 25 years. Presently I am 58. Since last 10 years, I am marginally (below 140 both times) Diabetic & Doctors say Medicine is not required in your case, as your exercise & diet control will suffice. I have started feeling that there is some defect in my nervous system which makes me unable to experience the feeling which ordinarily a layman experiences.Are there any suggestions or medicines to make my life simple and responsive? I am very much anxious to improve quality of my daily life for the rest of my life. Please guide me.

You are you. Don't try to change you. You can change your attitude towards life. You should change the way you look. For that you need practice. Practice to enjoy the nature. Spend any amount ot time doing that. Practice whatever change you want to bring in your life. Practice gives habbit and it remains. Negative thinking cannot propels you anywhere. It is stagnating.

Dear, are you sure, this is depression? you should be able to understand the difference between depression and disappointment. You are disappointed because of some reason you know very well and therefore you are worried, sleepless, sad etc. These things happen. Nothing to worry. Ask yourself, why should I worry and cry over and over again instead of finding an alternative? once you introspect, your problem will start solving itself. Take care.

Dear, tobacco is addictive. Cigarette also contains 4000+ carcinogenic chemicals other than nicotine. The best method is to leave it and continue with your will power. There are other methods like nicotine replacement therapy and pharmacotherapy combined. If you? re ready to stop smoking and willing to get the support you need, you can recover from nicotine addiction and abuse abuse? no matter how bad the addiction or how powerless you feel. The first step in treating nicotine addiction is accepting that you have a problem. Confronting an addiction and accepting responsibility for your actions isn? t easy. But it? s a necessary step on the road to treatment and recovery. You should then consult a psychiatrist / psychologist who fill follow this treatment. 1. Detoxification using medicines. 2. For calcium deficiencies you need to give her calcium supplements. Also check her vitamin d level. For knee arthritis pain a heating pad or cold pack can feel really good on achy joints. Use whichever one feels better unless you have an injury, in which case cold is best for the first couple of days. You can apply cold or heat several times a day. Just remember to cover the cold pack with a towel and keep your heating pad at a low setting to avoid burning your skin. Whether you use heat or cold, remove it after 20 to 30 minutes. Physical activity is essential for people with osteoarthritis, whether it means walking around your apartment. Activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities you should avoid until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting see a physiotherapist for stretching and strengthening exercises of leg muscles. My brother Age is 35 years he is smoking cigarettes from past 10 years. He smoke daily near 8 to 10 cigarettes. How to skip or reduce cigarette daily. In Future how to overcome this problem completely.

Ask him to follow these instructions: You have to quit cold turkey because the body and mind will torture you endlessly while attempting reduction in smoking. The tobacco tar in cigarette smoke lines your lung with huge patches that make that portion dysfunctional. Your oxygen carrying capacity is jeopardized, and breathing is impinged. But don’t be discouraged because it is not too late even now to reverse all the ill-effects of smoking. I don’t know what other organs could be damaged but do go for a thorough medical check up to assess the effects of your abuse. Regarding improving your lungs, do a lot of aerobic exercise breathing through your nostrils only. Then there are a lot of deep breathing exercises in Yoga which you can learn too. Deep breathing cleanses your system and lungs and restores it to good health. Deep breathing uses the 80% of the lungs which are not normally used in normal breathing and even when exerting yourself. The greatest effect is in the lungs because this substance is processed through the respiratory system directly through the lung surface. When quitting, you must take one day at a time; though you must give up all smoking at once, and promptly. If you look too far ahead you will get discouraged and will give up. If you sit and count the number of days you have given up, that will also focus too much on achievement. You must focus on the here and now, on that day to be precise. After all quitting is not that easy due to many factors. So even if you fail one day, you must try and try again. Very few people succeed in their first attempt. Your persistence will eventually pay off. The urge to discontinue is hampered by many factors but the worst of them is the conditioning. In fact these conditions can exist all through the day unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a reason that alarms you about continuing in the habit. The information is really scary but true and you must remind yourself about this every day. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heart beat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. So you must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for you. In fact it is highly toxic too. You will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine gums and nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. You may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i. E. At least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest.

But this sort of depression does not stay for long. This depression gets cleared within a span of some weeks. The best option for you is to undergo counseling and depression related therapy. You need continuous sittings with a psychologist to go to the root cause of your" depression" first, get it diagnosed if you are suffering from depression or depression like symptoms. If depression is confirmed on psychological testing done by a psychologist you will require medicines from a psychiatrist, if only depression like symptoms are found on psychological testing, then you will require psychotherapy from a psychologist. Psychologist is an expert in psychological testing and psychotherapy while psychiatrist is an expert for mental illness treatment with medicines only. They have no training in psychotherapy.

First of all you should follow some basic thing 1. Avoid=hot and cold at time 2. Less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3. Do not drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml 4. Avoid late night sleep 5. Sarswatrishta 4 tsp after lunch and dinner 2. Audumbaravleha 2 tsp before lunch and dinner.

What is Rett syndrome?

Rett syndrome is a neurodevelopmenal disorder that affects girls almost exclusively. It is characterized by normal early growth and development followed by a slowing of development, loss of purposeful use of the hands, distinctive hand movements, slowed brain and head growth, problems with walking, seizures, and intellectual disability.
The disorder was identified by Dr. Andreas Rett, an Austrian physician who first described it in a journal article in 1966. It was not until after a second article about the disorder, published in 1983 by Swedish researcher Dr. Bengt Hagberg, that the disorder was generally recognized.
The course of Rett syndrome, including the age of onset and the severity of symptoms, varies from child to child. Before the symptoms begin, however, the child generally appears to grow and develop normally, although there are often subtle abnormalities even in early infancy, such as loss of muscle tone (hypotonia), difficulty feeding, and jerkiness in limb movements. Then, gradually, mental and physical symptoms appear. As the syndrome progresses, the child loses purposeful use of her hands and the ability to speak. Other early symptoms may include problems crawling or walking and diminished eye contact. The loss of functional use of the hands is followed by compulsive hand movements such as wringing and washing. The onset of this period of regression is sometimes sudden.
Apraxia — the inability to perform motor functions — is perhaps the most severely disabling feature of Rett syndrome, interfering with every body movement, including eye gaze and speech.
Children with Rett syndrome often exhibit autistic-like behaviors in the early stages. Other symptoms may include walking on the toes, sleep problems, a wide-based gait, teeth grinding and difficulty chewing, slowed growth, seizures, cognitive disabilities, and breathing difficulties while awake such as hyperventilation, apnea (breath holding), and air swallowing

Your headache is due to inadequate sleep. Follow the advice given below 1. You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2. You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3. Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4. Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5. Adhere to a specific sleep time and regular schedule 6. Take light dinner. 7. Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time. Have a glass of warm milk at bed time. 8. Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner. Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Read a light magazine or interesting book before going to bed 9. Avoid late night. 10. Don’t sleep in day time 11. Don’t take sleeping pill 12. If no relief consult doctor.
