Hi! Egg is a good source of protein but eating egg alone will not help you in gaining weight. You need to increase your total calorie intake comprising of good carbohydrates, protein & fat. Eat frequently at regular intervals. You need to get your present diet & health assessment done. After that depending on your calorie intake a diet needs to be planned.

I am suffering from fsgs, almost 2 year before I had to take steroids for about 9 months due to which I got many side effects main was osteoporosis, my whole back bone from bottom to neck pains a lot all the time. Currently I am on ace inhibitor medicines which are working fine but I am still having that back problem which bothers me a lot. I am actually going through treatment of backbone too but they include exercises and nutrition supplements only as I can not have painkillers. Any suggestions? Any diet? Any particular exercise?

Apart from taking symptomatic treatment Take tablet folvite 5mg once a day and tablet vitaminD (60000iu) once a week for six months and Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong , chana , Dal , rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don’t apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit

Dear Rounak, Anything if taken as overdose is poison. Probably 200 seeds are too much for you. Most of the poisons are recognised by your body and it tries to throw it out by stomach discomfort and vomiting. After vomiting, your discomfort will come down. Why do you want to experiment with LSA? Try some thrilling hobbies and games instead.

-Dolo-650 mg twice or thrice daily can be used to lower a fever . -Wear loose fitting clothes and don’t overdress. Overdressing can cause temperature to rise further. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) baths may help bring down a fever  -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -Fever can cause severe dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids.. Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami,Amla juice etc.  -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals .avoid outside food -Further therapy depends on the cause of fever like urinary infection/typhoid or malaria/dengue infection & accompanying symptoms that need to be investigated and treated accordingly

Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. Eat more often. Drink milk. Try weight gainer shakes. Use bigger plates. Add cream to your coffee. Take creatine. Get quality sleep.

Hello you can increase your weight by following these things: 1. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your daily food intake should ideally consist of nuts, dry fruits, seeds, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. 3. Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4. Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. 5. Supplementation. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. 6. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.

Do regular exercise,, jogging,,take butter with bread,,,take high protein,,take soaked chic peas and pea nuts,,take dates and raisins with milk,,take 4-5 bananna with milk,,take cashew,,take boiled potatoes with butter,,take fatty fish this will help

Hi lybrate-user, here is a sample diet chart for you. Early morning - Drink 2 glasses of warm lemon honey water early in the morning on an empty stomach. Go for fast walking or jogging. Warm Lemon honey water will reduce body fat and remove harmful toxins from the body. Breakfast – Brown bread with milk, oats or corn flakes, 1 bowl of boiled sprouts or fruit salad. But if you are vegetarian then you can have Upma, idli and skimmed milk and fruits Morning snack – Tea or coffee with some biscuits or almonds or walnuts. Lunch – Chapatis without oil, Brown rice, dal or curry, vegetable, salad and curd Evening snack – Tea/coffee with biscuits, or one apple, cucumber or nuts Dinner – Chapatis without oil, rice without starch or brown rice, dal or curry, vegetable, salad. But you should eat less than at lunch you have.
