Hi if you have localized back pain with - no neurological symptoms like numbness, paresthesia, weakness in limbs etc - go for physical therapy initially under supervision of a physiotherapist and then at home. - avoid forward bending, lifting heavy weights etc - take an analgesic for 5-7 days - ice packs at the site of pain - local analgesic spray can be used but no massage is required let me know in 1 week time. I will actually ask you to get x ray of involved region of spine ( ap & lateral views) blood tests: esr, crp and serum vitamin d levels and send reports across to me so that I can advise further in a better manner. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hello Sir, Your wife most probably has rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is a serious disease which apart from causing pain in the joints (over the long term) can cause damage to the joints such that you are unable to use them even if there is no pain, damage to the lungs and heart ,etc. And hence needs to be treated proactively and completely not only ot avoid pain but also to prevent damage or complications to all these organs. This can be done best by a rheumatologist. If you let me know where you live I can give you a refernce of a nearby rheumatologist. You can contact me via my website www.Rheumatologybangalore.Com You can get more information regarding rheumatoid arthritis from the document below. Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are many causes of pain in neck region. It can be due to faulty posture, related to weak muscles, issues with intervertebral disc, narrowing of spinal canal, any bony instability besides many other, so accurate diagnosis is the key to proper management of the condition. You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your neck pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any radiating upper limb pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias (electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Please also tell me about any associated symptoms like fever, weight loss etc. What medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. I will also like to see your investigations like x rays and mri scan of the cervical spine so that I can identify the pathology and advise you accordingly. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. You can also discuss your case and treatment plans with me in a greater detail in a private consultation.

I am too fat with lower back pain and also upper back pain what should I do for it.

MBBS, Diploma In Dermatology And Venerology And Leprosy (DDVL)

Weight 1. Whole-grain bread. Research shows that people who follow a weight-loss program incorporating whole-grain breads, cereals, and other foods lose more body fat from the abdominal area than those who eat only refined-grain foods, like white bread and rice. 2. Low-fat milk and yogurt. Scientists have found that the more calcium in fat cells, the more fat those cells will burn. In one study, two groups of overweight mice were put on a restricted-calorie diet, but one also got calcium supplements. The no-calcium mice lost 8 percent of their body fat, compared to 42 percent among the mice that did get calcium. 3. Lean protein. Good sources of protein, such as lean meats, eggs, and beans, help keep your blood sugar stable. The result you'll feel full longer and get a boost in energy and that will help you burn more belly fat.
