Hi Frequent throat infections can also occur secondary due to sinus infections if you have post nasal drip constantly. You will need to get a nasal endoscopy done to rule out any sinus pathology.as you have frequent headaches it can likely because of sinus issues get a sinus x ray done also. Can do steam inhalation twice a day for few days. Do warm water gargling for throat pain.

Whenever I sleep my throat becomes really dry and starts itching. It gets better after I wake up and have some water. This never happens during the day or when I just lie down. This happens when I fall asleep. This is happening since the last few weeks. What might be the problem.?

It could be that you are a mouth breather in sleep. Please also check your blood sugar levels. Drink plenty of water before going to sleep. Keep a bottle of water at your bedside before sleeping.

Allergic dry cough and very frequently cold and blockage of ears. Everytime Dr. prescribes me montek tablet.
This is either due to less of chewing habits and secondly due to nose cleaning abruptly, the main cause for this is that your ears are not be able to equalise the pressure of the nose thruogh eustachian tube hence this leads to blockage.

Homeopathic Approach to SINUSITIS

BHMS
Homeopath,
Homeopathic Approach to SINUSITIS
Homeopathic Approach to SINUSITIS-

Homeopathy is strongly indicated in all cases of sinusitis. Homeopathic treatment en routes for rejuvenating one’s immunity towards such attacks. A constitutional homeopathic treatment can completely cure the recurrence of this disease. Homeopathic remedies facilitate drainage of mucus relieving sinus congestion, reduces inflammation in the sinuses, relieve pain and pressure by clearing the infection. It also prevents the formation of scar tissue and avoids permanent damage to the tissues lining the nose and sinuses. The constitutional approach enhances the vitality of the patient and eliminates the entire allergic predisposition hence impeding recurrent infections. Homeopathic treatment is safe and effective for both children and adults. Homeopathy can be an exceptionally successful approach in decreasing susceptibility in acute and chronic infections, as well as in treating the infection itself. The homeopathic constitutional approach always considers the illness in the context of the whole person taking into account the mental, emotional, physical symptoms and the circumstances surrounding their lives. Its purpose is balance and harmony on all levels by enhancing the body’s own defenses. Homeopathic remedies are natural, gentle, safe and easy to take
Self Care Measures
Manage your allergies and keep away from known allergens.
Avoid exposure to cold air.
Reduce stress.
Steam inhalation.
Drink plenty of fluids.
Use appropriate hygiene measures and avoid contact with people who have colds and other viral upper respiratory infections.
Avoid cigarette smoke in your home and workplace.
Consider using a humidifier.
Use saltwater nasal washes to help keep the nasal passages open and wash out mucus and bacteria.
Warm salt water gargles.
Avoid blowing your nose as this may force thick mucus back into your sinuses and block them.

I am suffering from Sinus problem. When I travel in Air conditioned class in Train I feel problem in breathing. Shall...
Dea rfollow the remedies for 1 month and avoid A/C till then..: 1.Boil 1 to 2 liters of water and add a few drops of clove oil (or a large spoonful of cloves), 10-12 crushed mint leaves, and a few drops of eucalyptus oil (or 1/3 cup of eucalyptus leaves). Inhale the steam for 10-15 minutes. Continue this twice a day until congestion clears and then once a week to clear the phlegm that gets deposited in the sinuses. 2.Have 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger juice with 1 teaspoon of honey in it twice a day. 3.Do pranayam daily for 30 min. 4. Take warm water plain, or prepare it with cinnamon and black pepper. 5.Avoid cold, heavy, oily foods, cold drinks, chocolates, ice cream, cold water, etc. 6. Sleep while lying on one side and with a pillow beneath the head. This prevents the accumulation of mucus in the air passages and helps to avoid difficulties in breathing. 7. Revert back after 10 days for further management and medication.

My son is now seven months old and when he born since then he is having nasal sound and now also coming voice from hi...
It seems your son is having nasal intonation, which is in medical term known as rhinolalia. Now there are two types of rhinolalia 1. Operta and 2. Clausa. Rhinolalia operta is caused by cleft palate, while rhinolalia clausa is caused by enlarged adenoids or any nasopharyngeal mass. So you must consult an experienced ent surgeon for proper diagnosis and treatment.

I've been in Uk for 10 years. My health deteriorated. I developed rhino sinusitis and hiatus hernia. I get lot of phlegm (mucus). I am coping with the problems but my main concern is bad breath which is present even after brushing. I brush 3 times a day and gargle mouth washes or salt water (warm). I think my bad breath comes from throat/stomach. The problem has been there for nearly 8 years. Please help. Thanks.

Bad breath or halitosis can be due to infection in sinusus, throat, lung abcess or ch lung infection, smoking, mouth breathers and indigestion. Dry mouth can also cause halitosis. Try to find out cause and treat that. Dental hyigene and floss of teath is main line of treatment.

Throat problem can happen due to weather changes, exposure to cold air or rain and certain sour food. 1. Mix some salt in warm water and do gargling. 2. Keep a clove and slowly chew it. 3. Drinking water frequently will reduce congestion if any. 4. Avoid fried and oily foods.
