I have not seen your MRI . If a cartilage charting shows there is a defect on the cartilage then an arthroscopy is better to treat that defect. Depending on the size of the defect the treatment is biased. The pain is only immediate. If a definite defect is there then it needs to be treated otherwise will lead to early osteoarthritis

I want to get. Rid of masturbation. It causes me head aches. Over thinking. Back ache tiredness furiousness.
I advise you to meditate and avoid masturbation. Dedication, meditation, and medication are the ways to fight with it. Strictly avoiding that triggers which compel you to do masturbation like porn, friends and privacy etc. Doing regular yoga and aerobics will definitely help you. Healthy diet like fresh fruits dry fruits specially dates almonds anjeer etc avoiding fish egg n chieken strictly mutton can be taken. And last not least medicine. For this there are special medicine for this problem which reduces your urge to do masturbation with helping you to regain lost vigour and vitality plus boosting overall health. Homoeopathic treatment takes away the habit of masturbation and remove its bad effects. Do not ignore the necessity to consult the qualified homoeopaths to avoid sexual embarrassment at the time of marriage.

Back Pain : Self Treatment : Save Money

Back Pain : Self Treatment : Save Money

PRELIMINARY THOUGHTS

Self treatment of a spinal problem involves graduated combinations of a few simple exercises, rather than a great variety. And because the central jamming is the first disorder from which other conditions flow, the fundamentals of all treatments are just the same-even for more complex disorders.

The same few exercises keep cropping up;

 rocking the knees to the chest,

spinal rolling,

squatting,

using the back block,

the tennis ball,

the Maroller,

abdominal strengthening exercises (curl ups),

toe touches,

diagonal toe touches,

floor twists

and intrinsic exercises.

But before these start, it is important to know that treatment of any problem must be taken at the right rate. In what is essentially a healing process, the regimen must be embarked upon with determination, subtlety and intuition.

There should be a fine balancing act between rigor and rest. It has to mean business but cannot be rushed. You have to do what is necessary, unflinchingly, but you cannot harry your back.

You must tailor treatment to your spine’s ability to recuperate after each ‘new’activity.Be guided by your instincts. You do have to keep pushing the spine at times when you might be fearful about it but remember, most pains are good pains and most people are fearful of the wrong wrongs.

They are too defensive and too ready to brace against the pain, wrapping it up, clenching around it and keeping it inside the spine. It is surprisingly how dramatically you can reduce your discomfort by willing the muscles around the pain in your back to relax. You can do it during any activity: walking along, waiting for a lift, or stretching to make a bed.

As you feel the muscles start to grab, concentrate on making them let go, like a meaningful glance to stop a naughty dog jumping up.

I am 77 years old male, and have undergone spine surgery for treating back pain which is almost cured. But now I find it difficult to walk without a walker. Some doctors say it is a balance disorder problem. I am taking allopathy medicines for blood pressure and , cholesterol which are under control. Please suggest some ayurvedic medicines for enabling me to walk. Thanks.

This could be due to oa knee &/or obesity. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Diabetes must be controlled beyond any shadow of doubt. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

Shoulder Pain - Know About Its Symptoms And Treatment!

Shoulder Pain - Know About Its Symptoms And Treatment!

What is commonly referred to as shoulder, is a combination of different joints which involves various muscles and tendons which allow us to take part in a wide range of motion. Shoulder pain can be classified in a broad spectrum, and even though some people have shoulder pain only, others may experience the pain radiating towards the neck and upper arm.

What are the symptoms of shoulder pain?
The four rotator cuff tendons are the most commonly affected tendons in the shoulder. Besides causing shoulder pain, it may also lead to tendon tears, impingement, and instability.
Impingement occurs when the top portion of the shoulder blade exerts pressure on the soft tissues underneath. As you try to lift the arm, the acromion starts to rub or impinge on the rotator cuff tendons and leads to tendinitis and bursitis. With the passage of time, it may cause rotator cuff tear.

On the other hand, instability of shoulder takes place when the top portion of the upper arm bone is compelled out of the shoulder socket. It may occur from a sudden injury or excessive use. It can be partial or complete in which the entire ball is dislocated.

How can shoulder pain be diagnosed?
The first thing that your doctor may recommend is a plain X-ray since it can detect any narrowing of space in between two spinal bones, tumors, slipped disks, arthritis and similar diseases, narrowing of the spinal canal, instability of spinal column and most importantly, fractures. Other diagnostic tests include MRI, electrodiagnostic studies, and CT scanning.

MRI or magnetic resonance imaging is a non-invasive process which can reveal the neural elements along with the problems with ligaments and tendons. CT scanning is often used as an alternative to MRI. Electrodiagnostic studies, as well as nerve conduction velocity, are used for the diagnosis of neck and shoulder pain.

What are the treatments for shoulder pain?
The treatment of shoulder pain from soft tissue includes the use of anti-inflammatory medicines such as ibuprofen, naproxen, and ibuprofen. Sometimes, doctors also recommend pain relievers like acetaminophen. But the drugs must be administered depending on the source of the pain and antidepressants and muscle relaxers may also be used.

Local application of ice and heat therapy can help in relieving the shoulder pain. Besides, your doctor may also recommend resting the affected area and limiting activities concerning the shoulders. When these treatments are not able to give positive results, then you may need to take corticosteroid injections along with some exercises.

When the spinal cord or nerve roots are involved in causing shoulder pain, surgical procedures can be the last resort. Your doctor can be your best guide in determining which course can be the most suitable in the treatment of shoulder pain.
