My husband got hurt jst below his knee (on his right leg), around 3 months bck. He got hurt by the sharp edge of a table. And even till today he has lot of pain. But at the look of it, thrs no swelling as such, but when we feel the painful area, it pains and also feels like a bump. Tried applying all kinds of pain relieving sprays, but its of no use. Kindly suggest us the best home remedy which can reduce the pain, since he is walking with quite difficulty. Thank u.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting Contrast bath- Fill two buckets/ tubs with Very Hot Water and Very Cold water. Immerse your legs into the water for 3 minutes and then switch to cold water for 1minute. Repeat this 3 times once a day.

Hi welcome - I advice initially you can start with a high calorie full of carbohydrate enriched with all types of proteins based foods as diet. You can add fresubin/ b-protein with milk or lukewarm water two times 20gm/time. The best way to have good quality foods & 8-9 hours sleep.

I am 29 year old. Suffering from knee pain since last 6 month. It swells regularly. I did the X ray. Consulted an orthopedic. 5 Common Mistakes That Prevent You From Being Happy and Healthy Today, Backed by Science

Being healthy and happy is a state of mind. Yet, it is also a choice that we make consciously or subconsciously. The way we choose to live and how we respond by matter of habit or choice, to the various life events and situations thrown at us, pretty much decides how our hormones, blood pressure and other factors behave in the long run. Anxiety and general unhappiness have been found to share a deep link with the quality of one's health. So let us look at the common mistakes we make, backed by science, which may be keeping us from health and happiness.

  1. Avoiding Connections: What really happens when we do not cultivate relationships with people whom we can laugh and cry with? You end up bottling things up inside and do not get an outsider perspective that can help you take things in a lighter vein or from a different, often more justified perspective.
  2. Endorphins: Also, when you do not have someone you can laugh with, especially during stressful times, you end up supressing hormones like the endorphins which are known to be natural pain relievers too!
  3. Sitting All Day: If your job or lifestyle involves the sedentary act of remaining seated, you are first of all, asking for neck and shoulder pain in the long run. This can happen due to several causes. Please try to identify remove them one by one. 1. Low Hb in blood. Get a test done and increase iron in diet. 2. Less intake of water. Take one glass every hour from waking till 8 pm 3. Take 2 glass nimbu paani every day. 4. Lack of Sleep. Sleep properly for 6-8 hours. 5. Lack of food. Since you are underweight maybe your diet is not proper. 6. Eat proper meals. Don't skip breakfast. Try out these things and your problems will be solved.

Chakkar could be because of BP. Please get it checked in a nearby hospital. Drink glucon D water twice a day. Chakkar aane band ho jayenge. Drink coconut water daily for 3-4 days.

Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - * to gain weight, first take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calories food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of bournvita or complan powder with breakfast. * after 2 hours of breakfast, take 2 bananas or a bowl of boiled soyabeans. To increase your hunger & proper digestion of food - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after lunch * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. You can take 2 bowl of careals (moong/chana daal) on the place of curd or cheese. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 10-12 pieces of dry fruits or 3-4 pieces of dates (khajoor). * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. Exercise is very important so that muscles gain mass from the heathy diet. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Be healthy

Coital pain is mostly due to dry vagina. And more you are terrified it will remain dry. A vicious cycle. Lubrication is a must before penetration. Give more time on foreplay. Once the vagina gets moist. That is the right time for penetration. Discuss this problem with your husband as he may not be aware of your pain. You can choose lubricant jelly from a pharmacy which will be helpful. Even saliva is a good choice. Sometimes vaginal pain occurs due to vaginal muscle spasm called Vaginismus. Doctors don't know exactly why vaginismus happens. It's usually linked to anxiety and fear of having sex. But it's unclear which came first, the vaginismus or the anxiety. Treatment Women with vaginismus can do exercises, in the privacy of their own home, to learn to control and relax the muscles around the vagina. The approach is called progressive desensitization, and the idea is to get comfortable with insertion. First, do Kegel exercises by squeezing the same muscles you use to stop the flow of urine when urinating. Squeeze the muscles. Hold for 2 seconds. Relax the muscles. Do about 20 Kegels at a time. You can do them as many times a day as you want to. Other medical problems like infections can also cause painful intercourse. Treatment will be done according to diagnosis.

Healthy Weight Gain Tips:

1.Eat More Calories Than You Burn:

The most important thing you can do to gain weight is to eat more calories than your body burns. You need to eat more calories than your body burns in order to gain weight. Aim for 300-500 calories per day above your maintenance level, or 700-1000 calories if you want to gain weight fast.

2.Eat Lots of Protein:

Protein forms the building blocks of your muscles. Eating sufficient protein is required to gain muscle weight instead of just fat.High-protein foods include meats, fish, eggs, many dairy products, legumes, nuts and others. Protein supplements like whey protein can also be useful if you struggle to get enough protein in your diet.

3.Eat Lots of Carbs and Fat, and Eat at Least 3 Times Per Day:
In order to gain weight, eat at least 3 meals per day and make sure to eat plenty of fat, carbs and protein.

4.Eat a Lot of Energy-Dense Foods and use Sauces, condiments:

Here are some energy-dense foods that are perfect for gaining weight:

My wife is 62 years old. She had spondylosis (affecting T2, T3 and L4 L5 revealed by MRI in 1997) way back in 1990s for about 8 years. During this period we tried almost all systems of medicines including allopathy, ayurveda, Homoeo, unani, siddhavaidya etc. But none gave a permanent relief. Finally we had settled down on allopathy as this was one of the easy remedies we found. The treatment was to take pain killers and to have bed rest. This was on the advice of my friend who was one of the seniormost orthopaedic surgeons in Safdarjung Hospital Delhi (1997). During these 7-8 years she had consumed a lot of pain killers (mainly diclofenac sodium). In 1998, however, she was cured of the problem by following naturopathy for 15 days in Delhi and following a natural hygiene. Since then she did not have any spondylosis problem. In 2013 (We moved from Delhi to Bangalore in 2003), during one of the medical check up for an Insurance application we discovered by chance that she is having High Blood Pressure (?) (150-90) and doctors advised her to start medicines for high BP immediately (envas-H 12.5 one daily). We continued the medicine for about a year. The medicine was stopped during the Naturopathy treatment in 2014 and the BP became normal. She has not taken the medicine thereafter. However, we used to check BP whenever we visit any doctor and found BP always normal. Recently by chance we found that her BP in the morning (upto around 9.00 am) is regularly in the range of (140-80 to 160-90) but after 11: 00 am the BP is normal (120-80). In the night, say after 8: 00 pm, it is again on a higher side. We are not sure when it started. She does not have any other problem except some occasional common cold (whenever climate changes) and related cough, fever, etc. My question is 1. Whether it is normal to have such fluctuations in BP during the course of the day? 2. Is it pointing to some other serious health problems needing immediate attention? 3. Is it because she stopped Envas-H after taking it for one year? I will be thankful for an early advice.

Blood pressure fluctuation sometimes occur which is normal...if she has blood pressure 150/90...it is not that much high to be worried...instead of taking medicines she should control her blood pressure by doing pranayama yoga and maintaining diet...spondylosis is curable by maintaining posture...and physiotherapy treatment
