Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Take high protein diet. Include all milk and milk products, eggs, pulses, sprouts, nuts, tofu, rajmah, chole, soyabean, paneer, chicken, fish etc in your everyday diet.

Surely, morning shift is best. If you want to improve on weight and muscle percentage. Take a fruits/ fresh fruit juice / fresh vegetable juice, half an hour prior gym.And some good Protein source : like- peanut butter sandwich, egg, paneer roll, sprouts, Badam milk, after 1/2 an hour of gym.

Pain arising from the neck and going down the shoulder or the arm could be because of either severe spondylosis or due to a prolapsed intervertebral disc (slipped disc). Do hot water fomentation twice around the neck. Avoid any kind of activity that requires prolonged neck bending. Do neck extension exercises. You can google the following exercises and repeat 10times- twice daily exercises- 1. Neck retraction 2. Retraction with extension 3. Neck strengthening exercises. Always use a pillow under the neck when lying down. If these do not help you. Kindly get yourself checked by a physiotherapist at the earliest.

Hye. Thankyou for your query. Weight gain is dependent on many factors like genetics, diet and exercise routine. There is no short cut to gain weight fast. A weight gain supplement cannot just help you to gain muscle and add calories to your body. In order for your body to gain calories, it is important to eat much food. Most supplements are also added with appetizers that may help boost your craving for foods. With the aid of the appetite boosters, your body will want to eat more foods and accumulate more fats. This is why taking supplementation in isolation does not really work. Whatever you have gained, you could have managed with a well planned diet as well. For any supplement to even help, you need to have a calorie, protein, nutrient dense diet first. Just taking supplement thrice a day a pill will not help because it's just fulfilling your basic needs. Moreover, the moment you discontinue the supplement you will lose all the weight. It must be understood that muscles will not grow big if you will not work on it. It is important to engage oneself into exercises which are focused on muscle growth along with a healthy diet. With lots and lots of supplements for gaining weight that are in the market, it is better for you to work on your diet and exercise routine first rather than depending on the weight gain supplements' placebo promises. Working out your muscles can greatly help in growing your body and gain weight in the process. Let the supplement work as an additional nutrition for your body, not the only nutrition. 10 Easy Ways to Treat a Sunburn

Spending a day out at the beach or going up on a hike is something most people love to do. What they, however, do not want is the after effects of being out in the sun the sunburn. While sunscreen lotions do help to a large extent, being in the sea can wash off the sunscreen, leaving the skin exposed to the imminent damage. Also, the effect of most sunscreens (know more about sunscreen) wears off with time, thereby, invariably producing some damage to the skin. However, there are simple ways to reduce the damage and in some cases even reverse the damage done by the sunburn.

Listed below simple ways with which you can treat a sunburn:

  1. The minute you realize sunburn has set in, reduce further damage by getting out of the sun.
  2. If you were out in the beach, rinse off with regular water as early as possible to clear the chlorine and sand and salt water. The salt water irritates the skin and aggravate the damage further.
  3. Take a pain-killer which will reduce the inflammation and control the overall effect of swelling and pain. This can also help the mild headache (learn more about headache problem) that can develop because of being out in the sun.
  4. The sun dries the skin and therefore, make sure you make an extra effort and moisturize your skin. Use creams that contain aloe vera, glycerin or hyaluronic acid. Keeping them in the fridge for a while produces an extra-refreshing effect.
  5. Make a compress containing egg white or green tea and skimmed milk. The green tea will reduce inflammation and the egg white will supply the necessary proteins for the skin to recover.
  6. Not just the skin, the sunburn also leaves you dehydrated overall. Ensure the water intake is increased and consume water rich food like watermelon, grapes, and cucumber.
  7. If there are sun blisters as a result of the sunburn, do not touch them. Peeling them can produce scars, which can be permanent.
  8. On spots that are painful after the sunburn, slices of potatoes or cucumber can be used to rub the area. This will produce a cooling effect and also reduce swelling.
  9. Vinegar contains acetic acid and reduces pain, swelling, and inflammation that happens subsequent to a sunburn. Towel soaked in vinegar can be used to wipe the area or vinegar can be added to the water for a bath.
  10. Mint is another wonderful agent to manage sunburn. Include it in tea or add peppermint oil to lukewarm water for that healing drink.

These are some tips to treat a sunburn and reduce the damage (sometimes permanent) that can happen as a result.

Lybrate-user ji you did not mentioned weight of your father. If he is overweight ge need to reduce it. Use only western toilt nd not indian toilet. Do not use staircase. Do not bend your knee more than 90 degree.

I am 17 year old boy and I have been in hostel for 6 years and I have been fit these years because I had a healthy diet but in my annual holidays I gained weight but it gets reduced when I go to hostel but last two in my 11 and 12 I gained weight and it is not reduced even after several exercise ,yoga etc. And I want to know the reason behind it.Please tell.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.
