Hi doctor. Me and my boyfriend had intercourse last Sunday. He was not fully into me. But I did not bleed and I had much pain. I'm a virgin. I have pcod. It was just for 30 sec. Is there any chance of pregnancy? Please I'm worried.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist,
Hi doctor. Me and my boyfriend had intercourse last Sunday. He was not fully into me. But I did not bleed and I had m...
You say your boy friend was" not fully" into you, and that you did not bleed. Vagina is the place where the penis gets inserted at sex. Vagina has a outer covering called hymen and this hymen has a central small hole through which the penis passes at sex. While most of the women have bleeding if hymen is torn during sex, some do not have it in some women the hole in the hymen is elastic enough to allow the penis to go beyond it. So even though you may have an intact hymen and no bleeding and your boyfriend has not been" fully into" you, it could be that he has either ruptured your hymen or gone beyond it due to its elasticity. In some men the pre ejaculatory fluid which comes at erection and drops out of the penis when being inserted, it may contain sperms. So there could be a" slim" chance of pregnancy, if such a sperm has been released. But by and large pre ejaculatory fluid doesnot contain sperms and so the chances of the pregnancy are" rare" at the most. The chances of the pregnancy are high if the intercourse has happened in the fertile days if 72 hours have not passed since the intercourse, it may be prudent to take a emergency contraceptive pill for safety. Do not worry. If you are feeling very worried consult a gynecologist.

Hello. It's more of gastric pain! Acidity occurs when there is excess secretion of acids in the gastric glands of the stomach. When the secretion is more than usual, we feel, what is commonly known as heartburn, which is normally triggered off by consumption of spicy foods. Here are some home remedies to cure acidity. - Skip the aerated drinks as well as the caffeine. Opt for herbal tea instead. - Have a glass of lukewarm water everyday. - Include banana, watermelon and cucumber in your daily diet. Watermelon juice is great for curing acidity. - Coconut water is known to soothe the system if you suffer from acidity. - Drink a glass of cold milk - everyday. - Have your last meal at least two to three hours before going to bed. - Keeping long intervals between meals is another cause for acidity. Have small but regular meals. - Try to avoid pickles, spicy chutneys, vinegar, etc. - Boil some mint leaves in water and have a glass of this after meals. - Jaggery, lemon, banana, almonds and yogurt are all known to give you instant relief from acidity. - Excessive smoking and drinking will increase acidity, so cut down. - Try chewing gum. The saliva generated helps move food through the esophagus, easing symptoms of heartburn. - Eat Ginger as it aids in digestion. - A simple preparation of lemon water with sugar can be sipped on an hour before lunch to reduce uneasiness. - Have vegetables like drumsticks, beans, pumpkin, cabbage, carrot and spring onions. Medication: Take Biochemic medicine - Natrum Phos. 6x/ thrice daily ½ an hour after meals.

A daily warm bath using a mild soap can help soothe itchy spots and remove dry skin. Take 15 minutes to soak in the warm water. You might find comfort if you add oil, finely ground oatmeal, Epsom salt, or Dead Sea salt to your bath, but keep the water and soap mild.Essential oils for psoriasis like tea tree, lavender, frankincense, myrrh and geranium essential oil can bring relief to inflamed skin and support the healing process.Probiotics. Probiotics are one of the best ways to introduce healthy bacteria and yeast into your digestive tract where they can help you build your immune system so that your body can overcome the yeast infection. They also help you digest food, get rid of toxins, and fight inflammation that leads to psoriasis.

Avoid stress, physical and mental exertion, have adequate sound sleep for 7-8 hours daily in the night 3. Go for regular exercise 4. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 5. Check for refractive error, sinusitis hemoglobin, bp 6. Avoid prolonged use of cell phone/computer 7. Consult neurologist to rule out other causes of headache, if required take a ct scan of head to exclude any brain lesion 8.
