Being a homoeopath,I will suggest you a natural way to glow your lips along with a lip balm. Lemon, Sugar Lip Scrub: In a small bowl, mix in 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and coconut oil. Add in and stir thoroughly 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar, a bit at a time to make thick paste of uniform consistency. If needed, you can add in more sugar. After mixing it well, you can transfer the scrub into a suitable storage container. It can be safely kept in fridge for about one week.Apply a little bit of the scrub to your lips, and scrub it in circular motion. To effectively exfoliate your lips, use a small toothbrush. Rinse your lips with warm water, and apply a LIP balm( BAKSON) on your choice.

I am 18 male I am very thin and short but I want to tall and strong now what should I do?

I am 18 male I am very thin and short but I want to tall and strong now what should I do?
Hye, thanks for the query. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals. Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite and is the only way to increase your height to the best possible your body is genetically tuned to achieve.

The Working Woman's Guide to the Perfect Smile!

The Working Woman's Guide to the Perfect Smile!

Here are habits to implement today to maintain that perfect smile for you and your family tomorrow

As women at work or at home, we are responsible for the health of those around us. If you are a compassionate and caring mother, daughter, sister or wife looking after the dental health of your family becomes imperative to their well being.

Here are some useful habits that can go a long way in keeping you and your family smiling for years.

#1 go soft automatic

Rev up your brushing-use an automated tooth brush. This maybe true for not only you as a woman but for your family. Make sure you switch them to an automatic or motorized brush with soft or extra soft bristles. This works best since it takes the guesswork out of brushing and improves your and your children's technique even if they're sleepy in the morning.

#2 dental emergency kit

Keeping a dental emergency kit loaded with some essentials like a basic dental painkiller (as prescribed), clove oil, some dental floss and a toothpick (not a habit recommended by us but when things get lodged and cause pain it maybe the last resort)

#3 vitamin check

Best way of ensuring good tooth and bone health is to ensure good levels of vitamins vitamin d3, calcium especially if you're beating menopause and even iron, b complex to prevent anaemias which can be detected orally. Deficiencies of vitamins and essential minerals can make your family more susceptible to oral health problems.

#4 gift a smile

Gift your dependents a great smile be it preventive treatments for your young ones like our decay protection programme which ensures they never have to feel dental pain like we have, or the braces intervention campaign which helps guide teeth to proper positions at an early age. More questions about your young ones dental health

For the elderly who missed out on a lot of preventive dental work can now enjoy the benefits of latest technology giving them fixed teeth instead of removable dentures.

#5 start a trend-family oral health checkup

Mark a day in your calendar a public holiday or the beginning of the year a time that you can easily remember and as a family get an annual checkup to not only ensure that you do not suffer from any dental problems but also early detection of any upcoming medical issues can be done.

Mr. Lybrate-user, if you have diabetes t2, then it is essential to have good control of blood sugar, for that fasting should be near 100 mg, pp shoud be 150 to 160 mg (as you have now) and hba1c% < 6.8. Diet for a person with diabetes has to be very individualised, so I need to know present dietary habits, fasting sugar levels and hba1c% plus daily exercise level. In the mean time avoid sweets, direct sugar and gur, deep fried foods, junk foods and pastries. Consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and permitted fruits. Also exercise regularly for at least 1 hour. Our is just about 20 kg/m2 which is in fact much lower than normal bmi of 23 kg/m2.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to have a persistent back pain as a health issue. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Thanks & regards

Vaginismus - Why It Is a Threat To Your Relationship?

Vaginismus - Why It Is a Threat To Your Relationship?

While sex is something which is supposed to be a lot of fun and pleasurable to engage in can sometimes it can also turn out to be quite the opposite. One of the reasons for this can be a problem called vaginismus. And, a condition like this can threaten to break a marriage, it will be helpful to know a little bit about it.

Understanding the problem
Vaginismus is a problem which occurs when the muscles of the pelvic floor of a woman’s body contract when there is an attempt to insert something into the vagina. This contraction is not voluntary in nature. In a significant number of cases, vaginismus is the natural reaction of the body when something untoward has happened with the woman before
. In many cases, if the woman has been the subject of any form of sexual abuse, she is likely to suffer from vaginismus more than other woman who have not been through this unfortunate experience.

The degree of severity of the case of vaginismus can really vary from one woman to another. The pain which is caused by vaginismus only occurs when there is an attempt to insert something into the vagina, be it a tampon or a penis, and does not exist at all otherwise. Your doctor can only correctly diagnose the issue.

Vaginismus happens to be a rather common problem and many women are known to suffer from it at some point of their lives. What does differ, however, is the degree of intensity of the pain. That being said, it is not too hard to cure vaginismus, but it is easier to do so for women who have not been experiencing pain for a long period of time.

Overcoming the obstacle
The best way to go about setting the problem of vaginismus right is by making a daily habit of doing Kegel exercises. These exercises are focused on improving the strength and also the functioning of the pelvic floor. They are quite common in prenatal sessions for mothers who are close to giving birth.

The Kegel exercise method of solving vaginismus is successful in more than 90% of the cases though these exercises, which are to be done, may not seem to be all that complicates. As long as a woman is consistent, she can enjoy the joys of sex minus the pain.

Hie lybrate-user I have always wondered about this question: What is it that makes me happy? Is it good times spent with friends? Is it performance at work? Is it self awareness? What is it? I created a simple mind map, and started splitting a few things randomly, then I structured them a little, and created a framework. Here is how things happen: You always have a rough belief system in your mind. Your beliefs can be weak, or strong. Sometimes very strong. You might believe in yourself, or in things told by others, or you might believe in someone else. Same way, you can have acquired skills, and you can split your skills as ~ what you can do, vs what you are expected to do. I am only giving you a framework. You can always choose to write down whatever you like on a paper just like this. The framework is, that everything in our lives can be split into three ways: What you think, believe, have, can get, etc. What others think, believe, have, can get about you or themselves. What the reality is or where it can go in time if efforts are put towards improvements. Also note, that everything affects everything else. For example, the more skills you have, the stronger your beliefs in something can be. The stronger your beliefs are, the more others might believe in you. The more others believe in you, the more they can help you out. The more they help you, the better your results can look and so on. Each and everything that affects one another can take a positive or a negative trend over time. When we put efforts onto something, you get some results. Again, everything is affected: [Beliefs, attitudes, results, skills, results…] everything! Here is what happiness is: Happiness is simply an inverse of a summation of all the deltas you can put together. Lets think about it with a few examples (they are made up, but I have felt and experienced them): When I did something great, I wasnt expecting a prize, but my boss gave me one: I got happy! When I did something great, but no one thanked me. I felt tiredness and depression. When I believed in something that was true, but others didnt it made me anxious. Then I put more efforts to show others what I believed in and why. They saw a clearer picture and got convinced - I got happy. When my boss asked me to do a task, and I could not do it the way he expected - he got angry, and I got depressed. When my boss asked me to train someone. I trained them exceeding expectations - they got happy, my boss got happy, so I got happy! This extends to personal life, not just professional life: I made a sandwich for my friend. He was not even expecting one. He got happy, so I got happy. My friend invited me to his party, but I got late. He got anxious, so I got anxious. I wasnt anticipating my friends to visit, but they visited me during vacations - they got happy, I got happy. Put well defined efforts that reduce some delta somewhere: Usually the efforts would have to change something. The change could very well be within you. In fact, if you think deeply, the change is within you. It is in your thoughts, attitudes, beliefs, actions. Examples: Increase your skills so that you can achieve what you believe in and what others believe in. Put efforts towards extending gestures that others expect out of you. Make them feel good. Make them believe in you. Make a reality check constantly to figure out where you stand vs where others think you stand. Learn how to convince others so that they believe in you. Learn to lead others to a common cause. Help others reduce their deltas. They are happier - you are happier. Hope the best from others, but dont make expectations. Give your best to others, and constantly try to exceed expectations. When you repeat such experiences too many times, you might know what you have to never be anxious, never stressed out, and always be happy Stay blessed and stay inspired!

Hi, nowadays, hair fall is a common phenomena. We should give little concern for this as the causes may differs. Usually it is due to dandruff, stress conditions, mal nutrition etc. Daily fall of 100 numbers of hair is normal. If it is more than that we have to take care of it. Yours is dandruff problem. So make sure that you should clean your scalp daily. You should keep your towel and comb clean and keep it for you seperately. 1. Durdurapathradi keram 50 ml+kaiyonyadi keram 50 ml- take equal quantity of both oils and make it little warm and apply in you scalp and massage. Leave it for 30 minutes. After that take a head bath with green gram powder or mild shampoo. Dry off the scalp and do comping. Do it for I month. 2. Drink plenty of water. 3. Take a good sleep everyday 4. Being Over weight isn’t just a cosmetic problem. Excess body fat can negatively affect nearly every facet of life, including: Decreased mobility Poorer emotional health and self-esteem Increased risk of organ failure Poorer circulatory health Increased risk of heart disease Increased risk of stress fractures Increased risk of strokes Increased risk of cancers Fat cells can act as endocrine factories and produce hormones that influence numerous processes in the body — most of which lead to more fat accumulation. Beyond the health of it all, carrying a lower body fat is often considered more attractive and desirable. Bottom line: Carrying a lot of excessive body fat makes health, body composition. To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.
