Dear sir What is the difference between bypass surgery nd stent placement in heart?

Dear sir
What is the difference between bypass surgery nd stent placement in heart?
Sent is also called baloon intervention, it's not a surgery in the real sense, a device is passed through a major blood vessel of body and blockages in blood vessels giving blood to heart are cleared, in bypass surgery, blood vessels are taken from legs or arms are grafted and connected to major blood vessels supplying blood to entire body bypass rout is created for blood to flow smoothly to entire body and yes it is a major surgery but with advanced technology, there is nothing to fear by both procedures.

Hello sir, hope you are doing good. Pls don't stop bp medication, unless doctor ask you to stop. Diabetes, bp require a long term medication. But this might also lead to your constipation problem. If you have constipation more than occasionally or have severe pain or bleeding, it's important to check-in with your doctor as these symptoms can be a sign of a more serious digestive disorder. However, in most cases constipation is just a sign that your diet needs more fiber. The average adult needs between 25 and 30 grams of fiber a day to ward off constipation, far less than most of us typically eat. To avoid bloating and cramping, you'll want to gradually add fiber to your diet. Badam, orange, apple has more fiber pls eat as raw. Dont make a juice of it. Let me suggest you some best fiber supplement from who certified. This fiber is easily digestible and give a best result you need to take after meals in the afternoon and evening. Just leave a message to me on my private questions. Have a nice day.

I am a 40 years old male having Hypertension for the past 5 years I was taking Telma 40 morning and amlong 5 mg evening for the last three years a week ago my BP suddenly shot up to 190/100 I was feeling dizzy and my heart was pounding very fast this lasted for half and hour. The next day I got and ECG and 2D Echo done which was normal but the TMT test showed positive for induced ischemia. On the Doctor's advice I got a coronary angiogram done which showed mild coronary artery disease but no blocks there was slight plaque build up in the arteries the doctor changed my medicine to cilamet xl 10/50 to be taken morning and ecosprin av 20/75 to be taken in afternoon. It has been 3 days and I still get sudden panic attacks where I feel chill feeling on my hands and feeling of irregular heart beat this last for about 15 minutes and subsides. The doctor has now added ZAPIZ 0.5 to be taken in evening. With this I am not feeling the panic/anxiety symptoms. What is wrong with me should I see a Neurologist or Psychiatrist? Is this sudden feeling of panic/anxiety attack due to cilamet xl?

Dear Friend Not every person with abnormal TMT test required Coronary angiography. You could do stress echo or stress thallium to confirm coronary artery disease (CAD). It again indicate that in future you r not right candidate for TMT as it was false positive & will remain false positive foreever. You said that you had bp problem since 35. It should be evaluated. High bp in young may be bcz of thyroid problem or some kidney problem or kidney tumour which are curable type of hypertension you may have anxiety panick attack thatswhy you have some relief after giving antianxiety medication. To be summerize YOU NEED TO EVALUATE CAUSE OF HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AT THIS YOUNG AGE.

Breathing problem along with heart disease can be confusing for the doctor and for patient, it can be COPD/asthma+ heart attack because both cause breathlessness. She has had a cardiac arrest 1 year ago , I am sure she must have been advised to prevent further attacks. Get Spirometry test for lungs.Echo test for % functioning of heart and lipid profile blood test , get back with reports.

Dear Lybrateruser, - Your chest pain could be due to acidity - avoid spicy, fried & junk food, also restrict intake of tea, coffee to 1-2 cups per day, avoid alcohol & smoking - chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime, have 4-5 small meals rather than having three large meals - have 8-10 glasses of water for proper digestion - for your nasal blockage do steam inhalation regularly 2-3 times a day - take tab levocetirizine, 10 mg, 1 tab daily in the evening - avoid cold fluids, have more of warm fluids like water, tea, coffer, milk, soup - avoid exposure to cold & dust- get x-ray paranasal sinuses & chest done to rule out any other problem like sinusitis, DNS & allergic rhinitis.

according to research in genuine cow ghee cholesterol is very low comparatively to other products....but it is very difficult to get pure cow ghee...but all other ghee available in market contain huge amount of cholesterol which is very dangerous for health...so instead of it low calory butter is better

Thyroid gland affects nearly every organ in the body. Many nutritional factors play a role in optimizing thyroid function. However, both nutrient deficiencies and excesses can trigger or exacerbate symptoms. Working in collaboration with a both a physician and a registered dietitian is essential to determine nutritional status for optimal thyroid health. Improper thyroid function causes undesired weight changes, significant cardiovascular risks, and symptoms such as fatigue, mood changes, and gastrointestinal upset, which can hinder the development of healthful behaviors. I focus on setting realistic goals for healthy changes and regular exercise when counseling clients. There many potential nutrient deficiencies and interactions with medications and supplements. Hence diligent care is to be taken while designing a holistic treatment plan. I being a both a registered dietitian and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications.
