Hello dear understand your concern. This symptoms are not due to pregnancy. Its just indigestion & anxiety. 2-3 days ups & down is happened normally also. If you want check that you are pregnant or not, you can check it after 7 days of your period date.(means if your date is 2 nd march & your period is regular, you can check it on 9th april). You can do it by pregnancy kit which available in market easily. (do it in morning by first fresh urine). I hope this helps u.

For your age group vita-D & B12 should be in normal limits. I suggest you to repeat the tests at another good diagnostic center. If the levels are still low ,you can supplement with food rich in vit-B12 like, nutritional yeasts, fortified cereals and soy milk.Almond milk, coconut milk, egg, yogurt etc. No medicine is needed

It is a natural process, a way for the body to relieve itself of sexual arousal. When there is an excess of sperm, ( as it produced continuously in the body ) which is more than the body can hold, it releases sperm. It can also be considered body's response to over-stimulation. The frequency of nocturnal emissions varies from person to person. But it is a harmless process and a natural process You must let your mind wander. Enjoy entertainment. Listen to soothing music and read good books. Avoid tea and coffee and alcohol. Eat healthy foods and drink plenty of water to help the body release toxins from the body.

What are the common symptoms of malaria and how can we prevent malaria in general?

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
What are the common symptoms of malaria and how can we prevent malaria in general?
Hello, Malaria is an acute febrile illness. In a non-immune individual, symptoms appear 7 days or more (usually 10–15 days) after the infective mosquito bite. The first symptoms – fever, headache, chills and vomiting – may be mild and difficult to recognize as malaria. If not treated within 24 hours, P. falciparum malaria can progress to severe illness, often leading to death. Children with severe malaria frequently develop 1 or more of the following symptoms: severe anaemia, respiratory distress in relation to metabolic acidosis, or cerebral malaria. In adults, multi-organ involvement is also frequent. In malaria endemic areas, people may develop partial immunity, allowing asymptomatic infections to occur. Malaria is a mosquito-borne infectious disease of humans and other animals caused by parasitic protozoans (a group of single-celled microorganisms) belonging to the genus Plasmodium. The disease is transmitted by the biting of mosquitos, and the symptoms usually begin ten to fifteen days after being bitten. Prevention: Methods used to prevent malaria include medications, mosquito elimination and the prevention of bites. There is no vaccine for malaria. The presence of malaria in an area requires a combination of high human population density, high anopheles mosquito population density and high rates of transmission from humans to mosquitoes and from mosquitoes to humans. -Mosquito nets help keep mosquitoes away from people and reduce infection rates and transmission of malaria. Nets are not a perfect barrier and are often treated with an insecticide designed to kill the mosquito before it has time to find a way past the net. -Indoor residual spraying is the spraying of insecticides on the walls inside a home. -Cover over areas of stagnant, still water, such as water tanks that are ideal breeding grounds for the parasite and mosquito, thus cutting down the risk of the transmission between people. -There are a number of drugs that can help prevent or interrupt malaria in travelers to places where infection is common. Many of these drugs are also used in treatment.

Sir I dnt knw hw to tell you sir my body growing day by day in past I took medicine for tb. Any suggestion sir.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
By saying body growing do yu mean weight gain? If it is weight gain You need to have diet plan based on your BMI & activities. Whatever we eat is metabolised by the body for the energy needed to do daily work and the excess is stored as fat. Abdomen is the first place to gain weight and last to disappear. In brief, Weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs / chest etc. To burn off fat. Some tips 1) Drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) Take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take 1/2 of your total diet as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. And do aerobic exercises, running, jogging or at least walking briskly 3-5 KMs and swimming if possible, and in a gym if feasible. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise & dieting to take just as mush food as needed for your activities. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests. Read on and find about the best exercises for losing belly fat. Fight your belly fat with the right kind of exercise and the right diet. Belly fat can be effectively reduced with abdominal exercises. They help you to tone the abdominal area apart from enhancing the flexibility of the area. The most important point is that they resist the accumulation of fat around the belly region. The only thing that you must keep in mind is that you must regularly perform these exercises and be patient as nothing happens overnight. Exercises for Losing Belly Fat Some very simple but effective exercises to Lose Belly Fat Stretch 1 – Lie down on a floor mat. Position your legs vertically up and stay in this position for 5 to 15 seconds. This can be repeated thrice. Stretch 2 – Lie down on a floor mat. Stretch your legs straight. Place your hands behind your head and lock your fingers. Now raise your torso and bring it towards your knees. Stay in this position for 5 to 10 seconds and slowly return to your lying position. Repeat this for 15 times in sets of 5. Stretch on Chair – Lie down on a floor mat and position yourself with a chair so as to raise your legs on the chair. Your legs should be at 90 degree to the rest of your body. Place your hands behind your head and clasp your fingers. Now lift your torso and rise up as if you want to touch the knees. Continue for 15 minutes and repeat in sets of 3 or 4. Cycling – Lie down on a floor mat. Raise your legs and rotate them as if you are pedalling a cycle vigorously. Repeat the exercise for five minutes in sets of three. Breathing Exercises to Lose Belly Fat Let us briefly understand on how these work. Oxygen acts as fuel for the body. The extra oxygen that you inhale while performing the breathing exercises result in certain chemical reactions that in turn burns up more calories than you actually take in. You lose extra fat. Pavanmuktasan – for practising Pavanmuktasan, take a deep breath as you lie on your back. Bend you left knee, hold your toes and pull it towards your stomach. Simultaneously lift your head and touch your bent knee. Your other leg must be straight. Breathe in and count ten. Return to your original position and breathe out. Repeat the set with your right leg. Bhujangasan – for practising Bhujangasan lie on your stomach and place your hands under your shoulders. Lift your torso backwards using only the back muscles and not your hands. Hold your breath for 5-10 seconds and slowly return to your original position as you breathe out. Dhanurasan – Lie on your stomach and bend your knees. Hold your ankles as you breathe in. Push your body outwards in the shape of a bow and pull your head back as much as possible. Hold this position for 10 seconds and release the posture as you slowly breathe out. Apart from these there are aerobics that also help you to lose belly fat. Regular simple workouts, like jogging, walking up and down through the stairs fast also helps to shed those stubborn belly fat. But remember, it is always advisable to seek the advice of a fitness instructor before you decide as exercise regimen for yourself in order to get the maximum results.

Non-Interventional Therapy For Fistula Through Homeopathy!

Non-Interventional Therapy For Fistula Through Homeopathy!

The basic principles on which homeopathy is practiced believes in not only treating the symptoms and the condition of a disease, but also in reaching the root cause of the ailment and attempt to cure it. In most cases, it is successful in doing so. Fistula is a condition that can be treated through homeopathy.

Fistula is described as an abnormal joining of two organs within different locations in the body, causing pain unless the connection is removed. It can occur in the intestine or on the vaginal tract or in the anal region. The most common one is the anal fistula, which is discussed in detail here along with its treatment options under homeopathy.

Anal Fistula is an infection that blocks the passage...
The blocking of one or two glands that drain into the anal canal, which results in the area getting infected and formation of an abscess, is medically referred to as Fistula. There are many underlying causes for the occurrence of Fistula. Many times, it can crop up on its own as well. The condition can be quite painful and needs to be treated without any delay. Allopathic practice may advise surgery as the remedy. In homeopathy, however, there are medications that can not only treat fistula, but cure it as well.

Treatment Under Homeopathy
The homeopathic practitioner takes a close look at the condition to determine the precise type and seriousness of the fistula before starting the treatment. The treatment is done through oral medication and there are many formulations the practitioner can choose from. The most frequently used are Berberis Vulgaris, Causticum and Silicea. The choice of the medicine is based on the symptoms. For example, if there is an itching, pain or pus formation, the homeopathy practitioner will prescribe the appropriate medicine out of the above for the patient.

Special Ways of Administration of Medicines
Within homeopathy, there are a number of guidelines for administering medicines for all types of conditions, whether it is a simple fever being treated or Fistula. Some of these guidelines include the recommendation to keep it simple and not prescribe too many drugs all at once. If a particular dosage is strong, then the practitioner will recommend its correct intake and leave sufficient interval before the next dose is taken. Similarly, there will be a holistic view taken to combine the medication and the food intake. Certain food items may have to be avoided while consuming homeopathic medicines. In the case of Fistula also, the doctor may advise the patient to avoid spicy food and other items that can cause constipation. It helps in achieving the treatment objectives faster and better curing of the condition.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
I have suffering fot piles from last 3 years. I was discus many of doctors in that period and use many of medicine as...
Piles are haemorrhoids that become inflamed. Haemorrhoids are masses, clumps, cushions of tissue in the anal canal - they are full of blood vessels, support tissue, muscle and elastic fibers. Piles can be of various sizes and may be internal (inside the anus) or external ones (outside the anus). Typically, internal piles occur from 2 to 4 cm above the opening of the anus. External piles (perianal hematoma) occur on the outside edge of the anus. The internal ones are much more common. Symptomatic haemorrhoids affect at least half the population at some time in their lives before the age of 50. In the majority of cases, piles are effectively treated with over-the-counter medications, a good fluid intake, and by following a diet high in fibre. In severe cases, the piles may have to be surgically removed. About 10% of patients who go and see their doctor about piles eventually require surgical intervention. Internal haemorrhoids are classified into four grades. Grade 1 - there are small inflammations, usually inside the lining of the anus. They are not visible Grade 2 - larger than grade 1 haemorrhoids, but also inside the anus. When passing a stool, they may get pushed out, but return unaided Grade 3 - often called 'prolapsed haemorrhoids'; these appear outside the anus. The patient may feel them hanging out. They can be pushed back in if the patient presses with their finger Grade 4 - these cannot be pushed back in and need to be treated by a doctor. They are large and stay outside the anus all the time. External haemorrhoids are called perianal hematoma. These are small lumps that are located on the outside edge of the anus. They are very itchy and can be painful if a blood clot forms inside (thrombosed external haemorrhoid). Thrombosed external haemorrhoid requires medical treatment straight away PILES OCCUR when the blood vessels around the anus and in the rectum will stretch under pressure and may swell or bulge. Inflamed veins (haemorrhoids) can develop when pressure increases in the lower rectum. This may be due to: Chronic constipation9 Chronic diarrhea10 Lifting heavy weights11 Pregnancy12 Straining when passing a stool. 13 The tendency to develop haemorrhoids may also be inherited. The risk of developing piles grows with age Treatments for piles In the majority of cases, piles resolve on their own without the need for any treatment. Treatments can help significantly reduce the discomfort and itching that many patients experience. Diet - piles can be caused by too much straining when doing bowel movements, which is the result of constipation. A change in diet can help keep the stools regular and soft. This involves eating more fiber, such as fruit and vegetables, or switching your cereal breakfast to bran. Water is the best drink, and the patient may be advised to increase his/her water consumption. Some experts say too much caffeine is not good. Simple things you can do yourself to help prevent piles: 10 Try not to strain when you go to the toilet Avoid laxatives Exercise. Ointments, creams, pads and other OTC medications - there are some over-the-counter (OTC) medications which help soothe the redness and swelling around the anus area. Some of them contain witch hazel, hydrocortisone, or some other active ingredient which can relieve symptoms of itching and pain Surgery - used for particularly large piles, or grades 3 or 4 haemorrhoids. Generally, surgery is used if other procedures were not effective. Sometimes surgery is done on an outpatient basis - the patient goes home after the procedure.

My brother has a 2 inch hole in a heart is there any treatment or we can do operation?

MD(MEDICINE), MBBS
Nephrologist, Chandigarh
My brother has a 2 inch hole in a heart is there any treatment or we can do operation?
Yes, it can be done depending upon the location whether it is vsd or asd. In vsd whether it is muscular or membranous ventricular septal defect and in case of atrial septal defect whether it is primary septal defect or not. There are many closure devices which can be used to close these defects by non operative way but in your brother's case, the defect is little large to be closed by a closure devices. The treatment also depends upon the whether patient has developed eissenmenger's complex or not.
