Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. It is actually important to know the exact level of disc bulge and it's clinical relevance as there may be many patients with disc protrusions on mri but which may not be clinically significant. Also I am sure it is not s3/4 but either c3/4 or l3/4. It will be useful if you can send me the mri images and a brief clinical history so that I can see and advise you accordingly. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. You can also discuss your case and treatment plans with me in a greater detail in a private consultation.

I have an ankle pain for almost 2 weeks. There is no such fluffiness or any other problem. The pain becomes more prominent after a long walk or climbing of stairs! What can be the probable cause of this problem? How can it be cured?

Physiotherapy can be done at home. If you have instability despite physiotherapy, you will need Arthroscopic surgery to reconstruct ACL. Pain may be because of meniscus tear. If knee remains unstable for longer time, meniscus gets torn and pain aggravates.
