I am a 79 year old man, with reasonable health. I practice yoga asanas on alternate days and walk in the morning on other days. From one year I feel I am loosing balance and I stoop forward unconciously while walking. My knees do not seem to be strong enough and wobble a little early in the morning. I dont have sugar or high b. P. From a few months I feel I get tired very quickly. Any remidy for this?

First alwyas do warm up before running in order to prevent the muscular injuries use knee cap while walking and running, do some knee mobility exercise before walking, jogging or running apply ice pack over the affected knee after running.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Hello, take Gelsemium 30, 3 drops once daily. Hypericum 1x, 2 tab with warm water twice daily. Apply topi Arnica on the painful area of the neck. Take Alfalfa tonic, 2 tsp twice daily before meals. Revert me after 1 week.

Not all patients of backache & pain joints need surgery. Most of them can be managed without operation morning stiffness is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. I have high grade partial tear of acl, more than 50% fascicles of acl disrupted. Grade 1 sprain at femoral attachment of acl. Grade 2 sprain of lateral patellar retinaculum near femoral attachment. Grade 1 injury injury within distal bicep femoris tendon. Hoe much time it will take me to recover? Is surgery needed for acl.

You should not be having persistent back pain, please elaborate your problem in detail as to whether there is any pain radiating down in legs and any other symptoms like numbness, paraesthesia, weakness in legs etc do you feel fever, weight loss, loss of apetite etc I need to know the elaborate history of joint pains from you so that I can understand cause of pain, duration of joint pains and any associated symptoms like stiffness etc. At this age I would like you to get some tests like cbc, esr, crp and serum electrolytes and serum vitamin d levels done so that we can see if there is any issue and address it accordingly. It might be a cramp. This usually happens due to muscle tightness & weakness. It is also associated with calcium & protein deficieny through your diet. At your age this would be the only possibility. So add up some exercises and improve your diet.

Madam, short of seeing your doctor nothing can be prescribed menstrual pain is common problem. Happens to 95 % women. Till you see your doctor. Take pain killer which you have taken in past hon. Supreme court says it is illegal to give you any advice if you are not seen by us sharda jain.

Dear lybrate user use hot pack 15 minutes twice a day and use ointment stretching exercise of back muscles strengthening exercise of back muscles avoid forward bending heavy weight lifting use hard bed. Change working habit etc and consult with physiotherapist.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello dear according to your condition you do hot fermentation daily three times in a day with duration of 15 min. Do full stretches along with breathing hold it for 15 sec then release sure you feel better in 2, 3 days.
