Rotational movements of body while your foot is firmly holding the ground can cause stretching of ligaments of ankle and knee joints. This may be the cause of your pain. Wear comressiin bandage around ankle and avoid sudden, brisk rotatory movements while fieldinf, jumping or running.

Hello sir, Depend on severity of ligament tear pain is reduced. So need detail examination and history. Consult your physiotherapist. Apply ice fermentation every 2 hrs once. Complete rest. Knee brace with elevate leg. Avoid full weight bearing on injured leg. Avoid floor sitting.

Everyday when I wake up in morning a massive pain in my left leg so what I do to stop that pain.
There are many causes of non-traumatic leg pain. Pain in the leg may be present because of several conditions that may affect joints, muscles and nerves, as nerve compression at the lumbar level of the spine. If you are overweight, try to lose weight. If the pain in the leg is associated with low back pain, then a nerve compression is needed to be checked out. The back pain associated to a nerve compression can produce an inflammatory process that affects nerve roots, and starts traveling pain to the lower limbs and other symptoms as numbness. Muscle cramps are extremely common, and nearly everyone experiences a cramp at some time in their life. Cramps are common in adults and become increasingly frequent with aging. Increase water intake. Include physical activity in your routine ,walking is a good exercise.

Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.

Quadriceps strengthening exercises- Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Good evening. Doctor!I'm 30 years old lady working as a teacher. Even I do feel a kind of dscmfrt in shoulder joint in right upper back. I guess joint of shoulder. Specially it goes somewhat worse when I do extra work. Remaining it doesn't bother me while sleeping or doesn't restrict any movements. According to your weight and height ,u are overweight, you might be suffering from osteoarthritis knee. Knee pain is common in obese people. Try to reduce weight gradually. U can take pain killer for couple of weeks ,and still pain persist ,consult pain physician.

Hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck Exercises. Neck Stretching. Postural Correction. Shoulder Shrugs . Core Strengthening Exercises. Take frequent Breaks at work Use cervical pillow. Use Back Support. Self Massage the back of neck.

I was doing my workout from past one month including 3 to 4 km running, 2 sets (20) of ladder up and Down and 1 hour gym session in morning. But from last saturday while doing Squat exercise there is lots of pain going on my lower legs. Below knee. Now I am unable to run not even 1 km. My physical test of running 1.6 km in 6.30 minute is coming next week but due to pain I am unable to run Please suggest something better and how to to increase my running so I complete on time. Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).
