Im working in FMCG as Sr Manager-Production I am 35 years & overweight 89 kgs and also I have big stomach& my height is 172 cms (5.8 feet. I'm fully frustrated, trying to reduce weight, trying to reduce stomach but not possible, doing morning exercise 30-45 minutes. But some time irregular and also drinking morning lime with hot water. even though my weight and stomach is not reduced. Please suggest sir I have to reduce 9 kgs weight with in a month how ?what and all I have to daily please.

Hi Crunches, Twist Crunches, Side Crunch, Reverse Crunches, Vertical Leg Crunch, Bicycle Exercise, Lunge Twist, Rolling Plank are best exercises to reduce weight. Regimens 1. Old sali rice, Samvaka, Kodrava, Bajara, Maze (makka), Barley, Green gram (mudga), Kulattha, Pigeon pea (arhara ),Chick pea (chana), Brinjal, Parvala, Drum stick (shigru), Butter milk, Cardamom, Amalaki, Mustard oil, Luke warm water, Food substance with pungent, bitter and astringent taste should be recommended. 2. Freshly harvested sali rice, Wheat, Black gram (udada), Potato, Milk, Curd, Meet, Fish, Clarified butter, Jaggery and intake of water after meal should not be allowed. Useful single formulations in Ayurveda for Obesity 1. Suddha Silajatu (Black Bitumen) 500 mg twice a day with hot water. 2. Vijaysar Kwath (Terminalia tomentosa) 20 ml twice a day with honey. 3. Juice of 2 lemon + 4 tsf honey mixed with 1 glass of water. This drink should be taken in the morning for 50 days. There are so many medicines in Ayurveda to solve your problems. Lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Most important is to achieve a strict control over hypothyroidism, which can be done by maintaining TSH level around 3 to 4 mU/L. At that level all the symptoms of that condition are in check. Weight gain is a clear sign of uncontrolled hypothyroidism. Therefore, unless TSH is maintained at above levels, your efforts will not succeed. Plus you will have take a balanced but restricted diet that provides exact amount of calories based on your ideal body weight (not the present weight). You have to avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, bakery items and foods made of maida. Increase the intake of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits. Plus exercise for at least an hour or more per day. Since there is no mention of the height and weight, it is difficult to know how serious is the situation. Thanks.

You probably have gained weight due to physical inactivity and eating erratically. You need to focus on your lifestyle with changes in eating pattern and physical activity. Diet plays 80 % role in a weight loss regime and rest is exercise. If you make necessary dietary changes and combine it with 45-60 min walk / exercise you can easily shed weight. You need to correct your diet wherever it’s going wrong. Focus on higher protein intake, lower fat and restrict carbohydrates to complex ones only. Avoid simple sugars completely. 'Eat Out' less and have good quantity of fresh foods which are not processed. Hi lybrate-user I would suggest let's fracture healed first properly thn concentrate on weight gain as that more important as of now ,yes you can start exercises in bed and if at all you not allow to bear weight on fracture leg you can walk with walker do not need to everytime lying down or on bed just built confidence in you you will overcome your weight problem nothing need to be done for it.

You need to focus on your lifestyle with changes in eating pattern and physical activity. Try to look into the factors which caused the weight gain n that will help you find answers to how you would lose weight. Diet plays 80 % role in a weight loss regime and rest is exercise. If you make necessary dietary changes and combine it with 30 -40 min walk / exercise you can easily shed weight. You need to correct your diet wherever it’s going wrong. Hi Lybrate user, regular exercise will help you to burn the fat after fat burning you have to go for muscle building exercises for muscle building you have to take good amount of proteins proteins are available in 1. Eggs 2.meat 3.moong dal 4.sprouts 5.banana shake 6.almods 7.paneer 8.soup you can have whey protein but it should be consumed after knowing your height and weight, your age and your dose and under the guidance of gym instructor.

hello lybrate user weight reduction is achieved by three dimensional approach. 1. Dietary changes- you must take high fiber and whole grain diet like khichdi, daliya, corn flex, fruits-apple, guava,papaya, soups, multi grain atta chapati etc. Avoid- deep fried, spicy, sweets, cold drinks, curd, (nonveg, eggs, alcohol and smoke if u take) etc. 2. Life style modification- avoid sedentary life and be active. Go for morning or evening walk, do some yoga and exercises. Cycling, swimming and outdoor games can also help. Avoid nap / day sleep. Do suryanamaskar, trikonasan, bhujangasana, yogic jogging etc. do some special exercises targeting your belly area. 3. Ayurvedic medicines- some ayurvedic medicines like medohar gugulu, ayurslim capsules along with Panchkarma treatment can reduce weight quickly.
