High Blood Pressure And Sexual Complications!

High Blood Pressure And Sexual Complications!

It is said that in America one in every three people are suffering from high blood pressure. It is estimated that in America alone about 65 million are suffering from this ailment. High blood pressure is a serious ailment that can cause heart attack, kidney failure, vision impairment, and it can even cause sexual problems.  This ailment has no symptoms, and it is also regarded as one of the silent killers.  In fact, erectile dysfunction which is one of the serious ailments caused by high blood pressure can even affect the relationship between the couples.

High blood pressure and erectile dysfunction:

In the case of men, there is a direct link between sexual problem or erectile dysfunction and high blood pressure. Erection of the penis is caused by the two tissues called as corpora cavernosa. This tissue is made of small arteries and veins. During the process of erection, brain sends a signal to the nerve ending in the penis to dilate the arteries. This in turn makes the arteries to open sufficiently, and blood gets filled in empty spaces in the Penis.

The relationship between high blood pressure and erectile dysfunction can be further analyzed as follows:

*  Sexual arousal is caused by a male hormone called as Testosterone. In case a person is suffering from high blood pressure, he has low testosterone levels. Apart from this, in the course of time those suffering from high blood pressure are prone to damage of lining on the arteries. This in turn affects the flow of blood in the arteries.

*  On the other hand, in the case of a person suffering from high blood pressure, arteries fail to dilate and the smooth muscles of corpora cavernosa also fail to relax. Naturally, this affects the flow of blood to the Penis which in turn causes erectile dysfunction. Because of the combination of these two factors people suffering from high blood pressure suffer from the problem of Erectile Dysfunction.
Causes fear:

It is natural that sexual problems can increase the anxiety levels which in turn may lead to fear. As a result, the person may refrain from indulging in sexual activities. In fact, even one instance of erectile dysfunction is enough to fuel the fear, and the person would avoid indulgence.

Remedies available:

There are medicines that can help the individual to manage this problem of erectile dysfunction due to high blood pressure. Apart from the medicine, the physician may also suggest exercises and certain restrictions on food. You should take the medicines strictly as per the physician's directions. With this, it should be possible to effectively manage the sexual problems in those suffering from high blood pressure.

Once you talk to your physician about your sleep problems, they may refer you to a sleep clinic to gather more information. Mental health professionals can also provide you with sleep education and help you design an action plan for sleeping through the night. To treat anxiety conjointly with sleep problems, professionals typically recommend medication, therapy, or a combination of the two. Cognitive behavioral therapy is an evidence-based form of psychotherapy that can help you challenge your anxious thinking. Doctors or therapists may also recommend mindfulness meditation as tool for calming your busy mind.

Dear user you can consult nearby doctor for a check up and medication based on your progress of medication, However keep a note that allopathic meds is no way to give you further result rather than just effects lasting for 24-48 hours and you need to continue with meds as long as you live. Better switch to Homeopathic with full medical records and reports for permanent and gentle cure. TC.

Left arm pain may be a symptom of shoulder bursitis, which usually results from joint overuse. It could also be caused by direct trauma or bursa infection. This is the inflammation of the connective tissue between muscle and bone. Tendonitis in the shoulder or elbow could be the source of left arm pain. Do not worry its better to consult doctor.

Weight may be from poor diet. Reduce sugar jaggery alcohol and starchy foods. Increase traditional health foods like butter fish eggs nuts etc. You are taking very strong combination drugs, they can add to weakness if dose is excessive.

Silent Heart Attacks - Things To Know About It!

Silent Heart Attacks - Things To Know About It!

A heart attack does not always have obvious symptoms, such as pain in your chest, shortness of breath and cold sweats. In fact, a heart attack can actually happen without a person knowing it. This condition is known as a ‘silent heart attack’, medically known as ‘silent ischemia’, occurring due to the shortage of oxygen supply to the heart muscle. The causes of a silent heart attack are similar to that of a heart attack.

They include-

  1. Conditions like:
  2. Lack of exercise
  3. Age, usually above 65
  4. Consumption of tobacco or smoking
  5. High consumption of alcohol

A silent cardiac arrest makes one more vulnerable to another heart attack that could be fatal. Diagnosis: The only method to diagnose if you had a silent heart attack is through imaging tests, such as echocardiogram, electrocardiogram, Holter Monitoring or others. These tests can show certain changes which might be indicative of a heart attack. An analysis of one’s overall health and the symptoms can aid in deciding whether few more tests are required.

How would you prevent a silent heart attack?
1.    Get your cholesterol and blood pressure count tested regularly.
2.    Refrain from smoking.
3.    Get your VO2 max checked regularly.
4.    Live a healthy lifestyle: Refrain from smoking and excessive alcohol consumption; exercise daily, eat healthy.
5.    Control high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes
6.    Be aware of your body and call on a doctor if you feel there’s anything which is bothering you.
