Which one is good? Wheat vs Jowar. What is the difference between them,? Wheat chapati or jowar rotte?
Hundred gm of jowar contains 339 Calorie. Whole wheat contains about the same number of calories. Wheat contains more protein, dietary fibre, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, niacin, riboflavin, and thiamine when compared with jowar. Practically the only thing jowar beats wheat at is in iron content, and that too by the tiniest of margins. Diabetics will be pleased to note that wheat is a better food for them than jowar. The chapati has a lower glycemic index when compared with jowar roti, which means that it will release sugar into the bloodstream at a slower pace. Jowar may be tougher to chew but, surprisingly, wheat is much higher in dietary fibre. Wheat has a better amino acid profile when compared with jowar. Jowar also contains anti-nutritional and toxic principles that can lead to other nutritional deficiencies on prolonged consumption. Wheat is not recommended for the minuscule part of the population that is gluten-sensitive. Jowar, which is relatively gluten-free, is undoubtedly a better food for them. So, do not despair if you find it too hard to knead jowar dough; it really isn't worth it unless you are doing it for the taste.

You are too young, so for sure you don't need any medicine for weight loss. You can start by checking your fat ratio and muscles mass. According to that you can start with high fiber and low fat diet. But for that you need to check your fat mass. Sometimes it is bone weight as well to an extent. As per your age and height weight is not that much. You can check what is the exact fat% on your tummy. Than accordingly you can work out, likewise whether you need to build up some muscles or decrease fat ratio. Reduce fat amount in your food. Take high fiber meal.

It is always better to increase healthy weight. If you want to increase your weight, start taking some of healthy protein like wise milk, curd, paneer, etc. Pulses and legumes are very good option. In winters there are very good variety of vegetables, you can start taking a combination of veggies and legumes.

If your uric acid is on higher level you need to avoid high protein for some time. Other wise also protein should be taken as per the desired body weight and your medical criteria. Its better if you can check your muscles mass ratio and uric acid both, than accordingly you quantity of protein can be decided.
