You need well plan diet suited to your needs. Mean while here are few tips for you- Start eating small frequent energy dense meals instead of 3 large meal. Small meals are easy to digest and keep digestive system running. You can eat small portion of any thing healthy in difference of 2-3 hours have shakes of fruits with added nuts drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water. Eat all seasonal fruits and vegetables. Quit smoking or drinking if any Manage stress do some moderate intensity exercises for 30 minutes daily. Have positive body image appreciate your self Take sound sleep of 7-9 hour keep your self motivated as it not going to happen overnight. Consult me online for better results.

Some tips for weight gain :- 1) Don't drink water before meal. 2) Take at least 6 tp 7 meal in day. 3) Add more milk and milk products in your diet. 4) Add weight gainer shake in your meal. 5) Use Big plates. 6) Add cream to your coffee and tea. 7) Don't skip breakfast. 8) Do some cardio exercise minimum 30 minutes. 9) Increase calories in your meals. 10) Add more protein, carbohydrate, fiber rich foods in your diet. 11) Take creatine. 12) Take qualityful sleep.

Spondylosis - Is Ayurveda The Best Form Of Treatment?

Spondylosis is a disease of the bone which involves wear and tear of the discs. The latter is the cushion between the joints of the neck and the neck bone. While it is mostly observed in aged people, it is not too uncommon among the youth as well. It can present with symptoms such as numbness, neck pain, headache, stiffness near the shoulder area etc. Ayurvedic treatment has been extremely promising in treating both cervical and lumbar spondylosis.

  1. The food connection: Ayurveda states that there is a close connection between Spondylosis and food. In Ayurvedic terms, an increase of Vata Dosha can lead to the problem of Spondylosis. For instance, consumption of frozen or processed food, sodas, junk food, low consumption of water, excess consumption of curried food heighten the chances of Spondylosis.

  2. Habits matter: As per the books of the Ayurveda, a reckless lifestyle increases the chances of Spondylosis. Habits such as day sleep, regular walking for a long distance, urging the suppression, rigorous exercise daily, work that involves bearing of weight on the neck, head and shoulder, night awakening etc. can wreak havoc and result in Spondylosis. On the other hand, healthy lifestyle changes can help a person refrain from this condition.

  3. Psychological Factors: Ayurveda states that even psychological factors can go a long way in making a person suffer from Spondylosis. Certain factors such as excess stress, loss of interest in day to day work, fear of failure, feeling of frustration, too much anger, grief resulting from personal loss etc. play a major role in Spondylosis.

Visible Symptoms of Spondylosis:
Some medical symptoms that can be easily identified as the signs of Spondylosis include fatigue, pain in the arm, shoulder, and forearm, difficulty in functions pertaining to neck rotation, extension, joint stiffness, muscular spasm, headache, weakness in the arm, difficulty in movement, difficulty in muscle coordination etc.

Some ayurvedic treatments to deal with Spondylosis

Treatment: 

Home Remedies For Cervical Spondylosis:

  1. Use Cow's ghee in your food. It is a best natural "Vata" reliever and gives nourishment to the nerves and other body parts.

  2. 1 tablespoonful of Turmeric should be consumed once every day, after boiling it in milk for half an hour. It is a very useful herbal treatment for cervical Spondylosis.

  3. Constipation must be avoided at all costs. Constipation may increase pain in Cervical Spondylosis.

  4. Herbs have divine healing powers and they have the ability to cure any type of disease from the root. They were gifted to us by God when he created life. So believe in God if you want to get rid of your problems!

  5. Ayurvedic herbs are unique natural remedies for Cervical Spondylosis. Ayurvedic principles are different in many ways from modern medicine for example - Drinking water from a copper pan after keeping it overnight is also very useful in Rheumatoid arthritis and Cervical Spondylosis.

  6. Consuming castor oil at night with milk or alone is a very useful herbal remedy for arthritis, especially rheumatoid arthritis and Cervical Spondylosis.

  7. Improve your nutrition as the first step.It plays an important role to fight diseases. When nothing works, nutrition does!

  8. Use herbal juices like Aloe vera juice (Kumari Saar) and Amla Juice (Amla Saar) in routine. Amla is the richest source of natural Vitamin C. Vitamin C improves the natural immunity of the body. 100 gm of Amla juice contains 30 times more vitamin C than 100 gm of oranges.

  9. Greeva Basti- A compound created with Bala Ashwagandhadi oil, Medicated oil and black gram paste is applied on the affected area. Regular application of this can regenerate the muscle bone and reverse Spondylosis to a considerable extent.

Some ayurvedic herbs are known to be extremely beneficial for treating Spondylosis. Honey is packed with nutrients and is really delicious to eat. It can be easily added to any diet as a topping, say for fruit salads, ice-creams or as a spread. But are you aware that the jars of this tasty golden liquid could sometimes not be honey at all but syrup that tastes exactly like honey?

In order to boost profits, some producers of honey might dilute their product with adulterants such as flour, sand, and chalk or even syrup or molasses. Listed below are a few simple tips that can help you determine whether the product you are buying is genuine.

  1. Read the label: In addition to buying well-known and reputed brands of honey, ensure that you check the label for the logo and brand name. This will guarantee that the jar you pickup is not only good quality but also genuine. The label on the jar should list only one ingredient, honey, no additives, or flavourings.
  2. The warm water test: Add a spoon of honey to a glass of warm water. If the honey is pure when you stir this mixture the honey will sink to the bottom of the glass as a lump or stick to the spoon. If the honey is adulterated with any kind of syrup it will dissolve in the water.
  3. The thumb test: Put a drop of honey on your thumb. If it spreads or dips then it is not pure. Pure honey is thick and would remain on your thumb.
  4. The flame test: Dip a dry matchstick in honey, then strike the matchbox. If the matchstick lights with ease and continues to burn then the honey is pure. Due to the moisture present in adulterants, a matchstick dipped in fake honey will not light easily.
  5. The foam test: Add 2-3 drops of vinegar essence to the honey and mix well. If it becomes foamy after 2-3 minutes then the product you have purchased is not pure.
  6. The tissue paper test: Put a drop of honey on a piece of tissue paper, if it gets absorbed and leaves a wet or water mark on the paper then it is adulterated.

You might sometimes be able to spot fake honey by its taste and smell, though not always. Honey being a natural product and got from the nectar of different flowers it might not always taste the same. It would also be difficult to taste the product before you buy it if it comes in a sealed bottle or jar. Therefore, it might be beneficial to buy branded or organic products to ensure that the honey you buy is pure. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Unani practitioner.

Hye, Thanks for the query. The moment you think of weight gain, whatever is your workout or diet intake, does not justify taking a protein supplement or a weight gainer. You cannot gain weight by just adding a protein source or gainer to your diet. Weight gain needs additional calories through a balance of carbohydrates, proteins, healthy fats and exercise. You have to have a balanced healthy protein rich diet for the supplement to be utilised. Even if by chance you do gain weight it will just be fat mass which will disappear once you stop the supplement. Healthy weight gain needs good muscle mass gain which needs good diet and exercise.       Supplementation totally depends on your present food intake & activity levels. So, for weight gain you need a balanced, calorie dense diet and a good exercise routine Once your diet is good and you are working out right the supplement will be of benefit to improve the increased needs but not on its own alone.

Hello, to gain healthy weight, try to have 5 -6 frequent meals instead of only 3 heavy meals in a day. Try to eat every 2 -3 hours. Include dry fruits, milkshakes, rice, rajma, chole, pulses, eggs, paneer, cheese sandwiches, sweets in your daily diet. Add an extra chapati to your meals. Drink 8 glasses of water.

Hello, You can gain weight with eating a high calorie diet daily. Try to eat healthy foods after every 2- 3 hours. You can have dry fruits like kaju, kismis, almonds, dates, paneer / cheese sandwiches for your breakfast, don't skip you breakfast as breakfast gives you energy. Add one more chapati and rice to your lunch & dinner. Have green vegetable, paneer veg, dal / rajma / kadhi / chole eggs in your meals. In between have milkshakes, idlis, dhokla, sandwiches, chaat, bhelpuri etc You can increase your weight through diet. Add extra calories in your diet and protein intake also. Include milkshakes, dried fruits, milk and milk products, fruits and vegetable salads. Eat small and frequent meals atleast 5-6 meals in a day.
