1. Aim for long term weight loss @ 2-3 Kg per month = 12-15 kgs in 6 months. So on. 2. Add 2-3 Fruits to your daily diet before meals. Double your water intake. 3. Cut down Sweets/Biscuits/ Colas/Juices from your diet. 4. Completely eliminate Puris/Parathas/Pizzas/Burgers/Fried Rice/Biryani etc 5. Eat slowly and mindfully. Reduce portion size. 6. lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. Madam it would have better if you had mentioned actual blood glucose values (fasting, PP & HbA1c%) as well as TSH & T4, instead of saying both are normal. Usually in hypothyroidism (since you are taking 100 mcg levothyroxine, the condition is Hypothyroidism), there is usually a weight gain. It is possible that because of diabetes your weight has not gone up. I would like to all the above mentioned details then only some comments or suggestions can be made. Thanks.

Is banana and milk a good combination or bad combination? This food combination I have seen it in temples, as a sport supplement and a side dish for chapathi. But now in internet they say worst food combination and stuff. I'm confused as to. Fruits and yoghurt is a good combination or fruit and milk?

Yogurt and fruits are good combination, as antioxidants are retained there. Whereas fruit and milk when mixed together have antioxidants loss.

First of all 1000 kcal and 90g protein is not a solution. The amount of calorie protein you require must be calculated according to your height and weight. Secondly, the reason of being underweight is to be seen. Whether it is sudden weight loss, genetic, or secondary to any medical issue etc. And you have to take help of exercises as well to tone your body. Ideally should weigh around 63 kgs. You would approximately require 1800 kcal and 70 g protein.

Go for animal proteins like meat, fish and eggs, milk. Veg sources would include dals and legumes like chhole, rajmah etc. For carbs, have more of rice and wheat products. Healthy fat includes nuts. And for fibre have more of green leafy vegetables like spinach, lettuce etc.

Following are the suggestions for you- 1. Have small and frequent meals. 2. Include fresh fruits and vegetables in your daily diet. 3. Water intake should be at least 10-12 glasses. 4. Include high fibre, complex carbohydrate and protein rich diet. 5. Use 3-4 tsp oil in a day. 5. Exercise daily for 30-45 minutes. 6. Avoid high starch and fried foods. 7. Avoid sweets, cakes, pastries, chocolates, honey, sugar, etc.
