Your problem appears to be more of a psychological and behavioural in nature which can be improved by reducing the speed of spoken words and lengthening and prolonging the word which you r unable to speak. Please continue this therapy for a week if it shows marginal improvement then you May hv to go for regular speech therapy for 8 weeks. It is very essential to know your hearing status for which pure tone audiometery would be required.

I am a student. I am in a situation where I have to study for at least 14 hours for the next 45 days. I have the interest. But will my body cooperate? How to ensure that my brain doesn't burn out due to the heavy load? How to ensure that my brain receives proper and sufficient nutrition to support me in my cause? Please help me with an elaborate idea of what needs to be done for my situation?

Dear Lybrateuser, - To cope up with your situation you have to follow a timely routine for your diet, exercise, studies & sleep - fix your timing for the daily schedule & try to follow it - have a well balanced diet with more of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, protein foods such as eggs, non veg, milk & milk products, legumes, nuts & healthy fats as in olive oil, fish, avocados & nuts - include a protein food in each of your meals & also as snacks inbetween meals when you feel hungry, have something to eat like fruit or nuts or any other light snack every 2-3 hrs to provide energy & to keep your brain alert - take a 5 min break every 1-2 hrs, get up & take a walk, revise your topic in your mind & then again settle down for the next session - keep yourself well hydrated by having plenty of oral fluids & at least 7-8 glasses of water - find time for exercise for 15-20 min daily, do walking, jogging or yoga & meditation to improve your concentration - sleep well for at least 6-7 hrs at night as it is very important to get up refreshed next morning & to be alert the whole day with a good concentrating power.

I smoked cannabis everyday for nearly 5 years. Suddenly one day started suicidal feelings and I stopped taking cannabis. Then I started feeling fear and anxiety. I went to a doctor he prescribed me with bupron 300 mg, risdone .5 mg and ecigress 10 mg. I have taking medicines for nearly four months. What is my disease actually. Can it be completely cured. I think you developed a dependency on cannabis. That’s why when ever you r trying to quit your body is showing symptoms. Continue your medicines that will help you to get out of the physical withdrawal symptoms. But simultaneously you must go for psychotherapy. You need to understand about the substance you r taking, its long term effects and how and in what circumstances it can again come into your life. You need to improve your coping skills and life management skills. All these things can be provided by a registered clinical psychologist. Go to a clinical psychologist and undergo some psychotherapy sessions. It will help you.

Dear Lybrate User, What you are experiencing is technically called Cognitive distortion. Once it's gets resolved and you have pros and cons of it, things will ease out along with your anger.
