My bp is 225/145 please suggest me treatment and what tests should I do. Suggest me the medication also.
Your bp is too high Please go urgently to a nearby hospital to the emergency and reduce your bp. Do not waste time once that is done I will help you to reduce bp naturally. Hypertension is a lifestyle disease which needs only lifestyle solution and education about the disease and never ever medication. Identify the trigger causing BP and fix it naturally with no medicines involved. BP medicines can cause complications you should be aware of it. Read about it first before you take them. Do not get misguided. Your doctor is never going to talk about this .Always question your doctor about medication otherwise you will be the loser. Reversible causes of BP like Mineral, Vitamin deficiency, Thyroid disease ,Stress etc needs to be treated which will cure your high BP Doctors lack, nutrition knowledge, have vested monetary interests and do incomplete lab testing and do not offer natural solutions. Never believe in the lies told by doctors that you have to take BP medicines lifelong. Always rule out any structural heart disease by doing Echo, and TMT. -Treadmill testing. 1) Detailed history including dietary & lifestyle habits needed in addition to medical, occupational, environment ,and family history 2) Comprehensive lab testing needed which should have tests for inflammation and mineral deficiency. Do these 2 steps to avoid life long BP medications ,complications of both the disease and the medicines and avoid Doctor shopping. Send feedback with name ,contact number and take consult, if you want to reverse your high BP with lifestyle and nutrition. Avoid the complications of both BP ,and the medicines by taking a consultation and getting the proper detailed history taken, identifying the triggers, and fixing them ,doing the right lab testing and getting the right advice to get rid of your BP medications for ever.

Silent Heart Attacks - Things To Know About It!

Silent Heart Attacks - Things To Know About It!

A heart attack does not always have obvious symptoms, such as pain in your chest, shortness of breath and cold sweats. In fact, a heart attack can actually happen without a person knowing it. This condition is known as a ‘silent heart attack’, medically known as ‘silent ischemia’, occurring due to the shortage of oxygen supply to the heart muscle. The causes of a silent heart attack are similar to that of a heart attack.

They include-

  1. Conditions like:
  2. Lack of exercise
  3. Age, usually above 65
  4. Consumption of tobacco or smoking
  5. High consumption of alcohol

A silent cardiac arrest makes one more vulnerable to another heart attack that could be fatal. Diagnosis: The only method to diagnose if you had a silent heart attack is through imaging tests, such as echocardiogram, electrocardiogram, Holter Monitoring or others. These tests can show certain changes which might be indicative of a heart attack. An analysis of one’s overall health and the symptoms can aid in deciding whether few more tests are required.

How would you prevent a silent heart attack?
1.    Get your cholesterol and blood pressure count tested regularly.
2.    Refrain from smoking.
3.    Get your VO2 max checked regularly.
4.    Live a healthy lifestyle: Refrain from smoking and excessive alcohol consumption; exercise daily, eat healthy.
5.    Control high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes
6.    Be aware of your body and call on a doctor if you feel there’s anything which is bothering you.

My father had cad and he is a diabetic patients. Today he had chest pain and can't able to sleep. Can you help me.
If he is a patient of CAD n is having chest pain (Can be angina), take him to hospital asap. But if this pain is of gastric origin then do the following- 1. Lose weight (if you r obese). Obesity is the leading cause of GERD/ Acidity. Don't Overeat 2. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Maintain active life style 7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, Acidic foods, like tomatoes and citrus, Carbonated beverages 8. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. It contains a lot of fiber which will help reduce tendency for constipation 9. Drink lot of water. 10. Take half cup of cold milk when you feel acidity, it will help. Curd is good for u. 11. Everyday preferably sleep on same time Exercise in the form of yoga, cycling, Swimming, gymming, walking etc. This is for long term results But for now to bring your digestive system back on track you need to take medicines. For that I need more details, you can consult me.

Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) - The Many Benefits Of It!

Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) - The Many Benefits Of It!

Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) is a traditional and well established surgical procedure for treating diseases in the coronary artery. The process is carried out by using blood vessels alternately (vein or artery). Initially, CABG was performed by using the left internal mammary artery and saphenous vein. It was observed that the chance of occlusion in the vein grafts was much higher than the arterial grafts. In the last decade, total arterial grafting, which uses all the arterial conduits, is being practiced as CABG for better results.

Types of Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting

  1. Traditional Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting: In this type of CABG, the surgeon will initially open up the chest bone to gain access to the heart. The heart is stopped using medications and the body is connected to a heart-lung bypass machine to circulate oxygen and blood throughout the body.
  2. Minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass grafting: In this surgery, small incisions are made on the left portion of the chest to gain access to the heart. This surgery is used to bypass the blood vessels present in the front portion of the heart.
  3. Off-pump Coronary artery bypass grafting: In this procedure, the chest bone is opened up to access the heart. Here, however, the heart is not stopped during the surgery.

Patients, who have been suffering since a long time and have been operated on the vein grafts, have a chance of re-developing certain artery diseases such as a heart attack. To counter this possibility, surgeons have started using the method of Total Artery CABG. In this procedure, the left and right internal mammary arteries are used from the chest and the radial artery, from the fore arm for the surgery.

The main advantages of this procedure are:

  1. The survival rate is higher in total artery CABG as compared to the traditional CABG.
  2. It comes with long term benefits
  3. The procedure is safe as well as feasible

Slow flow is not a disease, just a description, usually means artery larger than usual. If you are concerned about your health stop smoking, avoid medical help, learn about healthy lifestyle of 90 year olds.
