Please suggest me any medicine for less sleep. The medicine should be without any side effects.

Please suggest me any medicine for less sleep. The medicine should be without any side effects.
For good sleep, just try out these simple ways - 1. Stick to a sleep schedule- Go to bed and get up at the same time every day. Try to limit the difference in your sleep schedule on weeknights and weekends to no more than one hour. Being consistent reinforces your body's sleep-wake cycle. If you don't fall asleep within about 20 minutes, leave your bedroom and do something relaxing. Read or listen to soothing music. Go back to bed when you're tired. Repeat as needed. 2. Pay attention to what you eat and drink - Don't go to bed hungry or stuffed. In particular, avoid heavy or large meals within a couple of hours of bedtime. Your discomfort might keep you up. Nicotine, caffeine and alcohol deserve caution, too. 3. Create a restful environment - Avoid prolonged use of light-emitting screens just before bedtime. Consider using room-darkening shades, earplugs, a fan or other devices to create an environment that suits your needs. Doing calming activities before bedtime, such as taking a bath or using relaxation techniques, might promote better sleep. 4. Limit daytime naps - Long daytime naps can interfere with nighttime sleep. If you choose to nap, limit yourself to up to 30 minutes and avoid doing so late in the day. 5. Include physical activity in your daily routine - Regular physical activity can promote better sleep 6. Manage worries - Try to resolve your worries or concerns before bedtime. Stress management might help. Start with the basics, such as getting organized, setting priorities and delegating tasks. Meditation also can ease anxiety. Identifying and treating any underlying causes can help you get the better sleep you deserve. Take medicine, Passiflora Q, 20 drops in half cup of water, 2 hours before her normal sleeping time If above things doesn't help you, then consult us for homeopathic medicines.

Please suggest. I have a severe heel pain what is the best medicine or cure for this. I also have a cramp at my toes.

Please suggest. I have a severe heel pain what is the best medicine or cure for this. I also have a cramp at my toes.
Heel pain or Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the band of tissue named plantar fascia that extends from the heel to the toes. In this condition, the fascia first becomes irritated and then inflamed, resulting in heel pain. Heel pain is a symptom if you are suffering from arthritis or any calcium deficiency. You should take a xray and complete blood check up for knowing the exact reason of pain Avoid going bare foot Do stretching exercises Putting an ice pack on your heel for 20 minutes several times a day helps reduce pain. Place a thin towel between the ice and your heel n do not apply ice directly to the skin If ice application didn't help go for contrast hot and cold bath. Cut down on extended physical activities to give your heel a rest Wearing supportive shoes that have good arch support and a slightly raised heel reduces stress on the plantar fascia. Reduce your weight Take 2-3 pieces of brick n heat it. Cover it with sterile cloth. Apply medicated oil on your sole and keep your foot on the brick till the heat get reduced.

Consult the near by physiotherapy clinic and also consult a general physician to check with your ESR levels to check whether you have inflammation I am sharing the same literature of Rheumatoid arthritis which has similar symptoms of uric acid saturation. You can definitely control this by adding more ginger in the diet and also you can add honey in the diet which will help you to feel better and free from pain. In dishes and in your regular food use lemon or mango instead of tamarind which has high risk for uric acid. Multiple Joint Pains / Early morning pain.

I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I had physiotherapy for 15 days continuously and was even asked to change my sandal for soft one. After the session, there was no issue for almost a month. Again I have started getting foot pain when I get out of bed in the morning. Please advise.

Hi, for plantar fasciitis, along with the physiotherapy treatment and shoe modification, there are various exercises which you should do regularly for getting complete relief and also for preventing the chances of it happening again. Also, the exercises should be done for both legs even if one of them is not having the problem. Soft sandal is ok, but more specifically you require a complete foot assessment to see if you are having flat feet or low or high medial arch of foot, and accordingly customised footwear and insoles should be given to you. So my suggestion is ask your physiotherapist to kindly do the needful.

Why we follow western culture? If lunch is heavy one feels sleepy? Instead if dinner is ok one will get nice sleep.

MBBS, MD, DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

Why we follow western culture? If lunch is heavy one feels sleepy? Instead if dinner is ok one will get nice sleep.
It is globally accepted that, for a healthy living, one should eat more in breakfast, normal in lunch and little in dinner because energy consumption is more during the day and less at night. Those who consume the main meal as breakfast with a light lunch and light dinner will have better chances of losing weight than those eating their main meal at dinner. It is not about what you eat but when you are trying to consume food. If you regularly consume most of your daily calories just before you lie down to sleep, it can be bad for digestion The reason we may feel sleepy after lunch, or after eating in general, is due to the amount of insulin produced after certain meals, which can trigger our 'happy' and 'sleep' hormones. At the same time, the brain releases serotonin that causes drowsiness. Moreover, food also influences melatonin production in the brain. This is the reason why you feel sleepy after eating carbohydrate-rich foods for more queries, contact us.
