Hi lybrate-user The term eye strain describes a group of symptoms which occur in some people after extended use of the eyes. Extended computer use or mobile inadequate or excessive lighting may cause eye strain, but there are no permanent consequences of this. Common precipitating factors for the onset of eye strain include extended use of a computer or video monitor, straining to see in very dim light, and exposure to extreme brightness or glare. Many people will blink less than normal when performing extended visual tasks. This decreased blinking may lead to dryness of the ocular surface and symptoms of dry eyes. Regards.

भारत जैसे विकासशीलदेशों में कमजोरी एक आम समस्या है. यहाँ लोगों को इस विषय में जागरूक किए जाने की आवश्यकता है कि उन्हें कितनी कैलोरी या अन्य घटकों की जरुरत है. क्योंकि आम तौर पर देखा यही जाता है कि हम अपने दैनिक जीवन में अपने लिए आवश्यक कैलोरी का पता नहीं होता है. इसके अलावा हमारी बदलती हुई जीवनशैली भी कमजोरी के लिए जिम्मेदार है. कमजोरी के कारण ही हमें थकान का भी अनुभव होता है. हम इस मुद्दे को इस बदलती जीवनशैली में हर कोई थकान या कमजोरी का सामना करता है. मांसपेशियों में शारीरिक कमजोरी का सीधा संबंध थकान से है. आइए समझें कि शारीरिक कमजोरी आखिर है क्या और इसके क्या कारण हैं.

कमजोरी आखिर है क्या?
शारीरिक कमजोरी दरअसल शरीर में थकावट की एक भावना है. इसके अंतर्गत कमजोरी का अनुभव करने वाला व्यक्ति अपने शरीर को ठीक तरीके से संचालित करने में सफल नहीं होता है. इसके अलावा कुछ लोग अपने शरीर के किसी विशेष हिस्से में कमजोरी का अनुभव करते हैं, जैसे कि हाथ या पैर. वहीं कुछ लोगों को पूरे शरीर की कमजोरी का अनुभव हो सकता है, जो आमतौर पर इन्फ्लूएंजा या हेपेटाइटिस जैसी बैक्टीरिया या वायरल संक्रमण का परिणाम होता है.

क्या हैं कमजोरी के कारण?

1. बुखार या फ्लू
आम तौर पर ऐसा होता है कि बुखार या फ्लू के दौरान मांसपेशियों और जोड़ों में बहुत दर्द होता है, जो शारीरिक कमजोरी का कारण बनता है. ये बहुत अस्थायी होता है फ्लू का असर खत्म होते ही आप ठीक महसूस करने लगते हैं.
2. थायराइड का ठीक से काम न करना
कई बार ऐसा होता है जब आपका थायरॉयड ठीक से काम नहीं करता है. ऐसे में थायराइड आपको परेशान या थका हुआ महसूस करा सकता है. इस दौरान आपकी मांसपेशियां कमजोर हो सकती हैं और आपका वजन घट या बढ़ सकता है.
3. नींद में कमी
यदि आप पर्याप्त नींद नहीं लेते हैं तो आपको बता दें कि अच्छी सेहत के लिए पर्याप्त नींद लेना जरूरी है. जरूरत से कम नींद लेना शारीरिक कमजोरी और कमजोरी का कारण बन सकता है. आपके शरीर के हर भाग को अच्छी नींद की जरूरत है. पर्याप्त नींद से आपके शरीर के बॉडी बार्ट रिपेयर होते हैं.
4. पीरियड्स के दौरान
महिलाओं के लिए मासिक धर्म का समय कई परिवर्तन लाता है. इस दौरान रक्त का अत्यधिक निकलना भी शारीरिक कमजोरी का कारण है. ये भी अस्थायी होता है क्योंकि कुछ दिनों में ये समाप्त हो जाता है.
5.तनाव या अवसाद
तनाव या चिंता के दौरान भी व्यक्ति सीधे थकान और कम ऊर्जा का अनुभव करता है. लेकिन ये वास्तविक कमजोरी नहीं है. चिंता लेने से कुछ लोग अपने अंगों में सुन्नता या कमजोरियों की भावनाओं में उतार-चढ़ाव देखा जाता है.
6. शुगर
शुगर के दौरान इसके मरीज को कई समस्याओं से जुझना पड़ता है. जब आपका मधुमेह नियंत्रित होता है, तो आपको थकान और कमजोरी जैसी समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ता है.
7. दिल की विफलता के कारण
कोंजेस्टिव हार्ट फेल्योर के कारण भी आपको थकान और कमजोरी जैसी समस्या से जुझना पड़ता है. दिल की विफलता के लक्षणों में थकान, मतली, खाँसी, हल्केपन, और भूख की हानि शामिल हैं.
8. विटामिन बी-12 की कमी
शरीर को काम करने के लिए विटामिन बी 12 महत्वपूर्ण है, जिन लोगों के पास विटामिन बी 12 की कमी है उन्हें थकावट महसूस हो सकता है और ऊर्जा की कमी भी देखने को मिलेगा. विटामिन बी 12 की कमी का सीधा जुड़ाव शारीरिक कमजोरी से है.

दूर करने के उपाय

हमारे शरीर में लगभग 70 प्रतिशत पानी है. इस पानी का ज्यादातर हिस्सा हमारे शरीर में खून के रूप में उपस्थित है. रक्त ही हमारे शरीर में वो महत्वपूर्ण माध्यम है जो कई जरुरी पोषक तत्वों और कई अन्य चीजों को विभिन्न अंगों तक पहुँचाने का काम करता है. यदि खून न हो हो या खून की कमी हो जाए तो हमारे शरीर में कई तरह की समस्याएं उत्पन्न होने लगेंगी. हिमोग्लोबिन, हमारे शरीर में मौजूद रक्त का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण भाग है. हमारे शरीर में कई खनिज पाए जाते हैं. आयरन उनमें से ही एक है.

आयरन का काम है हमारे शरीर में लाल रक्त कोशिकाओं का निर्माण करना. लाल रक्त कोशिकाएं हिमोग्लोबिन का निर्माण करती हैं. हिमोग्लोबिन हमारे शरीर में प्राण वायु ऑक्सिजन को फेफड़ों से लेकर हमारे खून में पहुंचाता है. फिर रक्त में संचरण करते हुए ऑक्सिजन शरीर के अन्य हिस्सों में जाता है. लेकिन जब हमारे शरीर में आयरन की कमी होती है तब लाल रक्त कोशिकाओं के उत्पादन में कमी आती है और इससे हिमोग्लोबिन में भी कमी आ जाती है. इस अवस्था में हमारे शरीर में ऑक्सिजन की भी कमी हो जाती है जिसे हम एनीमिया या खून की कमी कहते हैं. इसमें हमें थाकान और कमजोरी महसूस होने लगता है.


एनीमिया के लक्षण

  • थकान होना
  • त्वचा का पीला पड़ना
  • आंखों के नीचे काले घेरे
  • चक्कर आना
  • सीने में दर्द
  • लगातार सिर में दर्द
  • तलवे और हथेलियों का ठंडा पड़ना
  • शरीर में तापमान की कम

कौन होता है आसानी से इसका शिकार?

यदि ध्यान न रखा जाए तो प्राकृतिक कारणों से महिलाएं इसकी आसान शिकार बन जाती हैं. दरअसल पीरियड्स और गर्भावस्था के दौरान महिलाओं के शरीर में प्राकृतिक रूप से कई ऐसे परिवर्तन होते हैं जिनसे महिलाओं में एनीमिया जैसी स्थिति उत्पन्न हो जाती है. गर्भावस्था के दौरान शरीर को अधिक मात्रा में विटामिन, मिनरल व फाइबर आदि की आवश्यकता होती है. जबकि इस दौरान रक्त में लौह तत्वों की कमी होने से शारीरिक दुर्बलता बढ़ सकती है. जबकि पीरियड्स के दौरान खून ज्यादा निकल जाने के कारण भी एनीमिया की आशंका बढ़ जाती है. स्तनपान कराने वाली माताओं को भी एनीमिया होने का खतरा रहता है. लड़कियों में अक्सर डाइटिंग का क्रेज देखने को मिलता है. वजन कम करने के लिए डाइटिंग कर रही लड़कियां भी इसकी शिकार हो सकती हैं. कुछ अन्य कारणों से भी महिलाओं या पुरुषों में हो सकता है जैस पाइल्स या अल्सर के कारण भी एनीमिया हो सकता है.  अब तो पर्यावरण में मौजूद हानिकारक तत्व भी एनीमिया का कारण बन रहे हैं.

बचने के उपाय
एनीमिया अपने आप में कोई बिमारी नहीं है बल्कि इसके कारण कई अन्य बीमारियाँ हो सकतीं हैं. इस समस्या को जड़ से खत्म करने के लिए संतुलित और पोषक तत्वों से भरपूर डाइट लेना अत्यंत आवश्यक है. इसको ठीक होने में कम से कम छह महीने का समय लगता है. यदि आप एनीमिया से बचना चाहते हैं तो आपको मांस, अंडा, मछली, किशमिश, सूखी खुबानी, हरी बीन्स, पालक और हरी पत्तेदार सब्जियां जैसे आयरन से परिपूर्ण आहार आदि का सेवन अवश्य करना चाहिए. आयरन युक्त आहार तभी प्रभावी है जब उसके साथ विटामिन सी का भी सेवन किया जाता है. विटामिन-सी के लिए अमरूद, आंवला और संतरे का जूस लें.

इन आहारों से होती है खून में वृद्धि

कई ऐसे खाद्य पदार्थ हैं जिनका इस्तेमाल रक्तवर्धन के लिए किया जा सकता है. इनके इस्तेमाल से भी आप एनीमिया के जोखिम को कम कर सकते हैं.
1. चुकंदर - यह आयरन का अच्छा स्त्रोत है. इसको रोज खाने में सलाद या सब्जी के तौर पर शामिल करने से शरीर में खून की कमी नहीं होती.
2. हरी पत्तेदार सब्जी - पालक, ब्रोकोली, पत्तागोभी, गोभी, शलजम और शकरकंद जैसी सब्जियां सेहत के लिए बहुत अच्छी होती हैं. वजन कम होने के साथ खून भी बढ़ता है. पेट भी ठीक रहता है.
3. सूखे मेवे - खजूर, बादाम और किशमिश का खूब प्रयोग करना चाहिए. इसमें आयरन की पर्याप्त मात्रा होती है.
4. फल - खजूर, तरबूज, सेब, अंगूर, किशमिश और अनार खाने से खून बढ़ता है. अनार खाना एनीमिया में काफी फायदा करता है. प्रतिदिन अनार का सेवन करें.

Hi lybrate-user! For white discharge if its not getting reduced you should visit your doctor, get a vaginal swab for culture and sensitivity done. This will tell us the causative agent for the discharge and qill help us give you specific therapy accordingly. As far as swelling of legs is concerned you should get your blood pressure monitored and Hb checked. Agar BP normal hai, khoon ki kami nahi hai to proteins ki kami ke karan ya sirf pregnancy ke hi karan swelling ho sakti hai. Aise me feet ko namak ke gungune pani me thidi der rakhne se kutch aaram milega. Raat ko sote waqt pairon ke neeche pillow rakh ke soyen aur din me active rahe. You will definitely feel better. If BP or Hb are not within normal range your will have to take care of it. All the best.

You can have small frequent meals in your diet. Increase your water, fruits, salad intake. Along with this increase fibre in your diets that is going to feeling of fullness and then you will not feel hungry easily. Also include Jasmine tea 2-3 cups regularly. You can include more of clourful fruits and vegetables as they are good source of antioxidant that also prevent ageing. Try to have freshly prepared vegetables juice in your diet. After Dinner Take 1 cup jasmine tea.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. You can take insulin mentioned with a 40 units syringe, but you will have to change the quantity proportionately. 100 iu /ml has more insulin in one ml compared to 40 iu / ml vial. So the quantity has to be increased by 2.5 times. To get amount of insulin. To avoid this confusion, it is better to stick to 100 iu/ml Insulin. Thanks.

Does Traction Help a Bent Penis?

The appearance of a guy's penis can be a matter of great concern to a man. Every guy wants to sport a handsome penis, and so men may spend time admiring or worrying over their manhood. A frequent concern occurs when the penis is curved; a certain amount of curvature may be considered attractive, but when a man has a severely bent penis, it may cause anguish. And beyond the physical appearance, a really bent penis can be a penis health issue. When the curvature is extreme enough to cause pain or interfere with sexual functioning, steps may need to be taken to address the issue. One strategy is using a traction device to help lessen the curvature. But is this a medically sound option?

Peyronie's disease

Often when a bent penis is severely affected, a man may be diagnosed with Peyronie's disease. Named after the doctor who first described the condition, Peyronie's disease is generally caused when the penis experiences trauma or injury. This may be a direct blow to the penis, as when a baseball traveling at great speed hits the groin, or it may come about from the penis being handled too roughly during sex. In the latter, the condition is likely to result from repeated instances of rough handling.

When the penis is injured, a small amount of scar tissue, called plaque, forms as part of the healing process. If the injury is large enough, or if repeated trauma causes more layers of scar tissue to form on top of each other, it can result in curving. This occurs because the plaque lacks the elasticity of regular penis tissue. So when the penis becomes erect, the damaged side of the penis can't stretch as far as the other side, causing the penis to bend.

In some cases, this causes pain when the penis becomes erect. It also may bring about erectile dysfunction. If the curvature is severe enough, it may preclude the possibility of intercourse.

Treatment

In a small number of cases (usually of the milder variety), Peyronie's goes away without treatment. And in some cases, the degree of curvature is not severe enough to require treatment.

But in other cases, a doctor may recommend a number of treatments. These range from oral medications to injections to surgery. One option sometimes recommended is traction.

Traction

Most treatments for a severely bent penis haven't undergone rigorous clinical trials, so assessing their effectiveness is difficult. But at least one trial involving penile traction therapy showed promise. Involving 55 men with Peyronie's disease, the study found an average decrease in curvature of 20 degrees; plaque disappeared in 48% of the patients. And the rate of those unable to achieve penetration fell from 62% to 20%.

For the study, the men used a traction device, often called a penis extender. The device attaches at the base of the penis and again underneath the glans. It is then extended, pulling and stretching the penis. The men in the study were instructed to wear the device for 6-9 hours each day for 6 months.

Based on the results of this study, it seems that traction may be an option for some men with a very bent penis. However, there are drawbacks; not all men responded to the treatment, and there is some degree of pain and discomfort associated with penis stretching.

Men with Peyronie's should definitely consult with a doctor to see if they should consider any kind of treatment.

Whether or not using traction to treat a bent penis, men should be sure to use a superior penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) to keep the penis in good health. Oral sex: what is it?

Oral sex refers to oral (mouth and tongue) stimulation of the genitals or other areas of the body. Fellatio refers to oral stimulation of the penis; cunnilingus refers to oral stimulation of the vulva (the external part of the vagina). Anilingus refers to oral stimulation of the anal opening also known as" rimming" or anal oral sex.

The penis is the most sensitive at the tip, or glans, including the frenulum (y-shaped area), the underside of the penis where the glans meets the shaft. The bottom ridge of the glans or the corona is also very sensitive.

The part of the vulva that is frequently stimulated during oral sex is called the clitoris. It’s a small, round lump of tissue about the size of a button, just above the vaginal opening, and is highly sensitive to touch because of the large network of nerve endings. The clitoral glans is covered by a hood when not aroused or when highly aroused. Individuals may prefer to be touched on the hood, which partly covers the clitoris, since the clitoris is highly sensitive to the touch. The clitoris extends into two branches on either side of the vaginal opening about 3.5 inches long and fills with blood when highly aroused.

What part does communication play during oral sex?

It’s been said many times before: people need to find a way to communicate with each other in order to enhance their sexual experience. It’s certainly true during oral sex. The receiving partner should communicate their sexual needs. Acknowledging at the beginning that making adjustments is normal and fun. You might find that saying what feels good works well, or you might prefer not to speak but rather to indicate your likes and dislikes in other ways. This could include making sounds or using your hands to help guide or move the person to another place on your body.

Orgasm and women

Sex surveys of women report that most achieve orgasm more easily from oral or manual stimulation rather than during penetrative intercourse. Because the tongue is soft, warm and lubricated, a woman may find that this provides such intense stimulation that it becomes the best means for achieving orgasm. Each person is unique. Are there risks associated with oral genital contact?

Many people feel safe engaging in this behavior because they know there is no risk of pregnancy. There are, however, other considerations. Some stis (sexually transmitted infections), such as herpes, chlamydia, gonorrhea, hiv, hpv, trichomoniasis and syphilis can be transmitted through oral-genital contact. For example, oral herpes (cold sores) can be transmitted to the genitals and genital herpes can be transmitted to the mouth. The herpes virus can be transmitted without visible sores or an outbreak. Hiv may be transmitted through oral genital sex when hiv is in semen, vaginal secretions, or blood that enters the mucus membranes or abrasions in the mouth and throat. Hiv is not spread through saliva.

 Now a word about hygiene

For most people, cleanliness is an important consideration. Consider showering or bathing prior to sexual activity. It removes the daily dirt, sweat and other materials that accumulate over the course of the day.

Vaginal douching is not recommended. Douching is washing or “cleaning” out the inside of the vagina with water or other mixtures of fluids, which can lead to various health problems such as making a person more susceptible to infection due to changing the normal flora in the vagina. Anal douching is also not recommended. Using a mild soap and warm water is all that is needed.

For an individual with an uncircumcised penis, pull back the foreskin to wash thoroughly.

Circumcised individuals also need to maintain good hygiene as the absence of foreskin can cause the glans of the penis to come in direct contact with sweat and bacteria.

What if my partner doesn’t want to perform oral sex?

Individuals have different sexual likes and dislikes. These differences should be respected. However, it’s possible that a person’s dislike of this sexual act is based on hygienic concerns. If so, see our section on hygiene. It’s also possible that a person is concerned about disease transmission. Try talking with your partner about their feelings and why they’re feeling that way. Time and increasing intimacy can help an individual be more comfortable with oral sex.

What is safer oral sex?

It’s possible that the use of a latex barrier such as an oral (dental) dam, a thin square of latex used to cover a person’s body part or a non-lubricated condom cut open placed between the mouth and genitals would make the behavior more appealing, and certainly less risky in terms of sti transmission.

For oral sex on a penis, should I spit or swallow the ejaculate?

This is a personal preference. Some don’t mind swallowing while others may find it unappealing. For others, it might be strictly based on the taste (salty or bitter) and texture (thin or viscous) of the ejaculate. It is important to spit or swallow immediately following to keep the ejaculate from entering any cuts on the inside of the mouth. If your concern about swallowing is about ingesting hormones, rest assured that even though the testicles produce most of the hormones, they are not released into the ejaculate. If the concern is about calories, the approximate teaspoonful of ejaculate is low calorie (about 5 calories).
