Lasers are the best option for hair removal but it's permanent hair reduction and not permanent hair removal. So you would require maintenance sittings even after you have completed the course.

Hi lybrate-user, it can be due to low testosterone. This can be due to an unhealthy lifestyle - intake of junk food, sweets, fried and processed food; lack of exercise and proper sleep. Focus on these things and visit a dermatologist for further advice.

I have a dry and rough hair. Which shampoo and conditioner can I use to get a silky smooth hair.
Hair loss and dandruff/hair whitening can be controlled by - 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin c like amla and oranges. 10. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.

Premature greying is greying before the age of 30 yr, after that it is physiological process. Genetic inheritance is the most important cause for it. Apart from that stress, thyroid problem, nutritional deficiency, mal absorption are few other reasons. As melanin is produced with the help of proteins, it is important to eat food which is rich in proteins. Sprouts, beans, nuts, soya are excellent source of protein. Eat more green leafy vegetables. Drink 3 lit of water/day. Oil the scalp 3/week and wash it 3/week.

Hello. Gently move the razor on these areas. Medication: Start immediately with homoeopathic medication - Sulphur 200/ one dose daily in the morning for a week and a homoeopathic tincture called Arnica Montana and mix 1 tsp in 1/2 cup of water and apply upon the face on the beard and the mustache area with a cotton swab. Then use the razor movement technique as in 1 above. Repeat the above process every 3rd day and see the growth in 1 month. Take a red mushroom called ganoderma 5 gms. 2 times per day at 12 hours interval for 3 months. All the above would definitely help to grow the beard.

What to do make hair smooth and shiny I have dry hair and dandruff also suggest how to remove dandruff.
Hello, These are some home made tips to get shiny and strong long hair. *Massage the scalp for 10 to 15 minutes after bathing with water. This stimulates the blood circulation and strengthens the hair follicles in the scalp. *Massage the scalp and hair with coconut milk or Aloe Vera gel. Leave it for ½ hour, and then rinse with warm water. Repeat 3 times a week. *Massage into the scalp and hair honey with egg yolk. Leave for a 1/2 hour, then rinse. *Massage almond oil on scalp 2-3 times a day, daily. This will stop further hair loss. *Rinse hair with a mix of apple cider vinegar and sage tea to help hair grow *Make a shampoo by mixing 100 g each of amla (Indian goose berry), reetha, and shikakai and boil in two liters of water until the liquid reduces to half. Use this shampoo for your hair for at least one month. Your hair will become thick. *Mix equal amount of warm castor and almond oil and massage over scalp at least once a week. *Make a hair pack by mixing amla (Indian goose berry) powder with one egg. Apply it to your hair and leave for half an hour. Wash hair.

Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Calf pain after an injury is usual but runners often complain of calf soreness with no history of trauma to the area. In these cases, like many in running, the key is identifying the cause and rectifying it. Non-traumatic calf pain usually follows a fairly predictable pattern – the pain develops when running and gradually worsens as the run continues. The calf may feel tight and even stop the runner from going any further. After running the pain subsides a little but the calf often continues to feel tight for a day or so. Commonly when not running symptoms are minimal. This leads to the question of why are my calf muscles becoming fatigued? Every muscle has it’s different level of strength and endurance, exceed that level and it will usually start to become painful and tight. The answer to why this happens usually has 2 parts to it; 1. The calf is being overloaded 2. The calf muscles are weak or lack endurance. Overloading the calf Common causes can be introducing hill or speed work, increasing weekly mileage and increasing training intensity .Another factor is exercise you do in addition to running – if you’ve started to introduce gym sessions and running on the same day, or the following day, the calf may already be somewhat fatigued before you start. If you run regularly you might be quite accustomed to running on heavy tired legs. You can become unaware just how fatigued muscles are getting. The first answer when you have been overloading your calf is often rest. A few days rest, some will often work wonders. I would recommend this before you start thinking about addressing any calf weakness – adding more exercises to an already fatigued calf can add to the problem. Secondly, you may need to think about your training schedule. Are you doing too much with too little rest? Adding a rest day or reducing your mileage temporarily can help resolve symptoms, allowing you to progress again Assessing calf strength The easiest way to do this is a single calf raise; • Stand on 1 leg with your finger tips on a wall/ table for balance (not to push up from). • Push up onto your toes and slowly down again • Do as many as you can (going right up, not just lifting your heel a bit!) • Count the repetitions and compared left and right side You should be able to do the same amount left and right and it should feel as easy both sides. Clinically I like to see runners achieving 40+ reps on each leg. Below 30 might suggest a lack of endurance. You may find this test causes your symptoms, in which case stop, don’t push through pain. The single calf raise is very effective to strengthen the calf. Do as many as comfortable, rest for 1-2 minutes and repeat for 2-3 sets. Aim to work up to 3 sets of 25-30 reps. Do this 2 or 3 days a week on days that you aren’t running. The exercise can also be done on the edge of a stair to allow for greater range of movement by letting the heel drop below the level of the step. Calf flexibility is also important and not to be overlooked. Gently stretch the calf dynamically prior to running using mini squats, lunges, wall presses etc. anything that stretches the calf a little in a comfortable, controlled way. Dehyration aspect cannot be ruled out.Runners who drink less water or sweat more ,often suffer from Calf cramps. So one should drink large quantity of water if they run in routine. Homoeopathic medicine RHUS TOX 30 ( Dr Reckeweg) Drink 2 drops 3 times daily for 7-15 days.

Hair loss, also known as alopecia or baldness, refers to a loss of hair from the head or body. Baldness can refer to general hair loss or male pattern hair loss. Hair loss and hypotrichosis have many causes including androgenetic alopecia, fungal infection, trauma (e.g. Due to (trichotillomania), radiotherapy, chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies (e.g. Iron deficiency), and autoimmune diseases (e.g. Alopecia areata). Symptoms of hair loss include hair loss in patches usually in circular patterns, dandruff, skin lesions, and scarring. Alopecia areata (mild - medium level) usually shows in unusual hair loss areas e.g. Eyebrows, backside of the head or above the ears where usually the male pattern baldness does not affect. In male-pattern hair loss, loss and thinning begin at the temples and the crown and either thins out or falls out. Female-pattern hair loss occurs at the frontal and parietal. People have between 100,000 and 150,000 hairs on their head. The number of strands normally lost in a day varies, but on average is 100. In order to maintain a normal volume, hair must be replaced at the same rate at which it is lost. The first signs of hair thinning that people will often notice are more hairs than usual left in the hairbrush after brushing or in the basin after shampooing. Styling can also reveal areas of thinning, such as a wider parting or a thinning crown More than 95% of hair loss in men is male pattern baldness (MPB. MPB is characterized by hair receding from the lateral sides of the forehead (known as a "receding hairline") and/or a thinning crown (balding to the area known as the ‘vertex’). Temporary or permanent hair loss can be caused by several medications, including those for blood pressure problems, diabetes, heart disease and cholesterol. Any that affect the body’s hormone balance can have a pronounced effect: these include the contraceptive pill, hormone replacement therapy, steroids and acne medications. Some treatments used to cure mycotic infections can cause massive hair loss. Traction alopecia is most commonly found in people with ponytails or cornrows who pull on their hair with excessive force. In addition, rigorous brushing and heat styling, rough scalp massage can damage the cuticle, the hard outer casing of the hair. This causes individual strands to become weak and break off, reducing overall hair volume. Trichotillomania is the loss of hair caused by compulsive pulling and bending of the hairs. Onset of this disorder tends to begin around the onset of puberty and usually continues through adulthood. Due to the constant extraction of the hair roots, permanent hair loss can occur. Traumas such as childbirth, major surgery, poisoning, and severe stress may cause a hair loss condition known as telogen effluvium, in which a large number of hairs enter the resting phase at the same time, causing shedding and subsequent thinning. Hair loss often follows childbirth without causing baldness. In this situation, the hair is actually thicker during pregnancy due to increased circulating oestrogens. After the baby is born, the oestrogen levels fall back to normal prepregnancy levels, and the additional hair foliage drops out. A similar situation occurs in women taking the fertility-stimulating drug clomiphene. Hypothyroidism (an under-active thyroid) and the side effects of its related medications can cause hair loss, typically frontal, which is particularly associated with thinning of the outer third of the eyebrows (also seen with syphilis). Hyperthyroidism (an over-active thyroid) can also cause hair loss, which is parietal rather than frontal. Temporary loss of hair can occur in areas where sebaceous cysts are present for considerable duration (normally one to several weeks). Gradual thinning of hair with age is a natural condition . This is caused by an increasing number of hair follicles switching from the growth, or anagen, phase into a resting phase, or telogen phase, so that remaining hairs become shorter and fewer in number. An unhealthy scalp environment can play a significant role in hair thinning by contributing to miniaturization or causing damage. Air and water pollutants], environmental toxins, conventional styling products and excessive amounts of sebum have the potential to build up on the scalp. This debris can block hair follicles and cause their deterioration and consequent miniaturization of hair, It can also physically restrict hair growth or damage the hair cuticle leading to hair that is weakened and easily broken off before its natural lifecycle has ended. In homeopathy after proper case taking medicine will be prescribed accordingly. So pls consult either to a homeopath nearby your residence or you can consult me via Lybrate. General medicines are arnica, jaborandi which are easily available in oil base. Some very good shampoos are also avialable in homeopathy which prevent hair fall and early greying of hairs.
