So instead of opting for canned foods, another option is basing your diet around fruits and salads. But not the canned variety, but the homemade ones. Also, limit intake of milk and other dairy products.

All fruits contain some amount of potassium. However, some of them contain more potassium than the others. Limit your intake of fruit juices.
