Myth#1 - Knee replacement is a surgery for old people. “I’m too young for a knee replacement.”
Fact - Candidacy for a knee replacement is not based on age, but on the person’s level of pain and immobility. Often times, a patient is actually fearful about the uncertainty of surgery. Knee is a hinge joint where the lower leg bone tibia meets the thigh bone femur.
