Typhoid is an infectious bacterial fever with an eruption of red spots on the chest and abdomen and severe intestinal irritation, brought about by the Salmonella typhi bacteria. Treatment: as noted above, children present with symptoms that do not pinpoint to appendicitis. Treatment usually takes two routes:
