Jaundice is a medical condition where the bilirubin level shoots up in the blood of the affected person. Types of jaundice:
Jaundice may be of the following types:

Hemolytic jaundice: Here, the increased level of bilirubin in the blood results from an increased breakdown of the RBCs (Hemolysis).
