Intrauterine insemination is a comparatively simpler treatment used for fertility purpose. It is performed without the use of any fertility drugs. In this procedure, the semen is transferred to the uterus by using a thin catheter after a special washing treatment. Infertility of males: One of the most prominent reasons for undergoing this procedure is when a male produces low sperm count or have very low motility of sperms.

Presence of hostile cervical mucus

This type of mucus is inappropriate for becoming pregnant.
