The term cirrhosis refers to liver scarring due to various diseases and conditions such as chronic alcoholism and hepatitis. Symptoms: This will depend on the stage in which it is identified. Types - There are mainly two types based on causes:

Alcoholic fatty liver: This is very common in people who consume excessive amounts of alcohol.
