Hello lybrate-user, Your IBW=167, BMI=27 So your slightly over weight and grade-1 obesity. Grade-3 and above is sever issues. Drinking only empty calories doesn't help to fitness. Better consume fresh fruits or 1 glass juice/day. Try reduce 5 kg weight. If need more information contact me for personnel advice. Good luck.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. Eat meals at frequent intervals. You have to eat 6 meals a day to increase intake. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits, starchy vegetables, rice, bread, smoothies, milkshakes, ghee in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation You need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

WE believe that drinking coffee is good, but perhaps their belief is based on the assumption that you are drinking the right amount. The recommended amount for daily consumption is one cup of coffee or 95~200 mg, and should not have more than 400 mg in one day.

Hi lybrate-user I wud like to alert you against such drug abuse as your relative to please get a fresh blood test - HnA1C n lipid profile to help understand the ramifications of an un controlled Diabetes. Follow these instructions n let me know abt blood test too Diabetic Diet Moderate to mild elevation in Blood Sugar can easily controlled with a prudent diet n right food combinations. Avoid simple sugars like table sugar, syrups,fruit juices, squashes,jams, marmalades,fried, farsaans,processed foods maida items like breads cakes pizza burgers etc It would be prudent if you also checked your HbA1C, lipid profile, uric acid, vit D 3 n Vit B12 levels Morning- 1-2 glasses of warm water with cinnamon pd 1tsp, jeera pd 1tsp and 1/2 tsp turmeric pd -Boil, cool down and drink. 2. Eat 5-10 almonds, or 5-6 half walnuts plus 10 mint leaves Have Veg juice consisting of dudhi mint, tomato, ginger, and corriander with pepper n lime etc. Mid morning-or breakfast 2egg whites, 2katori vegetables 2 Tbsp oat bran N oat poha or oat suji - make pancake, cutlet or Upma by mixing with vegetables like peas carrot french bean, corriander,capsicum etc 1 pomegranate or apple or orange or Guava or 4-6 water apples or 1 slice papaya Pre- lunch Salad 100 gm Greek yogurt or probiotic curds with max 1-2 % fat or slim curd Lunch 2k subji, 2 rotis of oat plus oat bran atta and 3 tb sp of moong green soaked n boiled or 1-2 k veg dal sambhar or 1 -100 g piece of fish or chicken 4 pm 1 cup green tea or normal tea with 1/2 tsp sugar With 4 Tbsp Makhana or 1 cup oil free popcorn or roasted chana or ragda ir chana chat 5.30 to 6 pm 1tsp powder of methi or cinnamon powder soaked-in 1 glass water Dinner Soup, 250 gm veggies cooked in 1/2 tsp oil 2 -3 rotis of oats mix Plus 2 egg whites. Avoid fatty and spices food and skip lunch with mild breakfast and dinner take warm water with lemon and honey 2 glass daily empty stomach walk for at least 4-5 km daily with mild exercise and diet control avoid non veg and fast food do exercise and take plenty of water.

Try to eat a small snack an hour before workout. Eat a banana and drink Nimbupani just before work out. During workouts, keep having sips of water during breaks. If the duration is long you can carry some milk/glucose water with you to have during breaks. Immediately after coming you can have nimbu pani/buttermilk/lassi. Try to eat slowly and mindfully when you eat your dinner. Try to stretch your eating time. If you still feel hungry you can eat in the morning. Avoid oily stuff in dinner. Avoid pickles and papad. Try to give a gap of one hour between food and sleep.

Diet management is helpful for loosing weight. 1- you should take green tea 3-4 time / day. 2- take lukewarm water in early morning with lemon juice. 3- take heavy breakfast which is rich in mineral, vitamin, avoid fatty product like cheese, white bread. 4- take lunch litter than breakfast. 5- take dinner litter than lunch. Do not take dinner after 8 pm. Do some exercise like cardio (slow walking 30-45 min), yoga.

Hi here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. For a healthy lifestyle Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong , chana , Dal , rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Any food with a lot of carbs, has to be taken in a small quantity. In fact most of the foods that we eat contain a lot of carbs. For example rice, roti (jowar, bajra, wheat or maze), ragi, all other millets, potatos, plantains, bananas, sweet potato etc. Our (indian) diet is mostly (about 70% plus) is made of carbs. It is important to remember to consume a limited quantity, plus look at whole grains and whole grain flour rather than refined or polished grain flour or polished grains themselves. Hence whether it from Patanjali or from any other source, it has to be taken in a very limited quantity. Thanks.

Hello lybrate-user, if you go by medicinal method, the it will take 6-8 months. As it is hormonal. You can take adrenalinum 200 1 dose at interval of every 15 days for 6 months. And if you want quick result, you can go for laser therapy. Both of the options are good. Still further, if you have any query, then please let me know.
