Dear I suppose you meant constipation as your problem. That can be because of antibiatic medicine. Was any new medicine introduced of late? also sedentary lifestyle, poor fiber intake and inadequate fluids can harden stools. Try to walk more with more water and fibrous diet along with review of prescription will help.

You need to consume essential fatty acids and high biological value protein. Need to consume complex carbohydrates instead of simple carbohydrate. Take green tea 2- 3times aday. Flaxseeds powder in salads, curd, dal. Black pepper.

1. Throw out your weighing scale cause it is not a reflection of how healthy you are. 

2. Bmi is not an accurate representation as each of us is different. Instead two new terms have come into play- tofi and foti (thin outside and fat inside and vice versa) means you are unhealthy even if you look thin on the outside.
 
3. New research is showing that cholesterol is not directly the cause of heart disease.

4. Eat 4-5tsps of ghee everyday. It is good for the gut bacteria and will actually help in reducing abdomen fat.

5. Bring back rice on your plate. Not brown not white but handpounded. Eat rice at night too if you have grown up eating it. Leave the quinoa to the south americans

6. Stop looking at food as carbs, protein & fat. Instead look at it from farmer, trader, consumer point of view. So eat what takes the least time to come to you - eat local!

7. All fruit is the same. All have fructose- again eat local grown seasonal fruit.

8. Bananas are good for you.

9. Eat before you drink alcohol - eat early, drink early.

10. Weight loss industry has somehow managed to get everyone to believe that what tastes yuck is healthy and good for you. Don't equate healthy with yucky tasting food.

11. Keep moving. For every half hour you sit, move at least 3mins.

12.150mins of exercise a week is mandatory.

14. Weight bearing exercise is what one should be doing to keep bones strong and for stronger muscles.

15. Oil your hair once a week, rub ghee on your feet and drink plenty of water to alleviate bloating.

16. Salt is not bad for you. Don't go salt free. Use rock salt.

17. Sugar is also not bad for you provided you eat it the right way. Indian sweets are better than your pastries and brownies etc.

18. Work on strengthening your legs.

19. Don't believe that drinking green tea will make you lose weight. A myth that google and weight loss industry has promoted just because chinese are thin.

20. Red meat is absolutely fine as long as you watch the quantity.

22. Eat so much that when you get up from the table, you should feel light.

23. Don't count calories

24. Most important - remove fear from your head while eating. (we all know about the mind-body connection by now)

25. Make lifestyle changes and don't follow fad diets which rob your body of essential vitamins and minerals)

Hello, You haven't mentioned your height and weight. Anyways there are various reasons you don't weight even after following good diet like high metabolism, stress, insufficient calories (which you might feel you are consuming sufficient calories), infections, lifestyle etc.

How to lose fat from hips and thighs Dietary changes – •Check the oil that you are using. Vegetable-based and olive oils are good for you. Cut down on ghee, butter, cheese, paneer and margarine. •Limit your carb intake. Restrict yourself while eating potatoes, white rice, sago, pasta and other products made of refined flours. •Use only skimmed milk and skimmed milk curd. •Give up on all the fried foods until you get that shape. Nothing will come easily. Avoid fries, pakodas, samosa, fried momos, chips, and other fried snacks. •Increase your fibre intake. Eat whole cereals, oats, broken wheat / daliya, brown rice, brown breads, fruits with skin and a lot of green veggies. If possible mix bran into your flour. •If you are a non-vegetarian and enjoy fish, you will love this diet. Eat fish upto 4 times a week. Bake it, grill it but don’t fry it. You can have other lean meats up to 2 times in a week. And egg whites for breakfast are a good idea. •2 tsp of Triphala churn, along with ginger water is excellent way to help you liver to break down fats speedily and effectively. •Cut the intake of wheat. Extra carbs always end of on hips and thighs. Include other cereals like jowar, bajra, and mix these flours with horse gram flour and soya flour. •Go very light with your dinners. A plate full of salad made out of veggies, sprouts, fruits along with soups will help. Fill in with a very small portion of brown rice or daliya. In short have a fiber and protein rich dinner and go low on carbs. Eat dinner around 7.30 pm and having a small walk after it will only add up to your goal. •Consume as much of water as you can and eat different varieties of melons for better results. How to lose fat from hips and thighs through exercise •Walking is the best exercise for your hips and thighs. Walking up to 4 km per day will make your goal appear closer and closer. •If I ask you, “how to lose fat from hips and thighs”? You would probably answer cross trainer or the cycle at gym. Frankly you are not helping yourself if you are doing these to lose fat from hips and thighs. These exercises will only help you in tightening your muscles and then bulking them up. •If you have been walking already, but don’t see much result, then you might need to increase the distance by a km and the intensity of walks from the 30thminute onwards. Also check your diet to ensure you are following the tips above. •Lunges and squats will help you too. Remember to check your posture while you do these exercises. Wrong posture can cause pain. •Running and jogging, hiking and trekking will help you too. Now that you know how to lose fat from hips and thighs all you need to do is tailor the above given tips to suit your plan. You could slowly increase your exercise and go easy with the diets. Dear Lybrate User , As you mentioned your condition we need to workout on both weigh & stamina , as you mentioned your height and weight which is slightly not in proportion , so keeping target of 4-5 kg gain naturally within next 5-6 month is considerable according height you mentioned. Gaining weight & maintaining good stamina through out is not difficult task but it involves lot of self commitment for achieving desirable target. So start with- 1. Believe in yourself. - believe in transformation , stay inspired - eat good food- workout hard. 2. Be patience - Gaining weight is not 10 or 15 day stuff , it need patience , if you are seeing you are not gaining weight event after hard workout , healthy diet dont loose hope continue yourdaily routine. Dont feel discourage , think positive eat right balanced diet and increase your strenght. 3. Consume require amount of calorie , protein daily. 4. Divide your meal into part , take 4-5 meal per day. Things to avoid - Bakery product ( Maida flour product ) , Sugar and salt , Tea / Coffee. For achieving your target our daily meal/diet is not sufficient so one need to take supplements i recommend go for herbal combination for the same. to gain weight you should eat food rich in protein and calories. The right combination of healthy food, exercise, right breathing rest and sleep, go a long way in a happier. Focus on eating each meal containing a protein then do regular exercise. Follow it up with a heavy and healthy breakfast. Take moderate lunch and dinner. Add Banana, Milk, Eggs, including yellow yolk, Mango, rice gram, peanut, butter are helpful in gaining weight. Potatoes, bananas are a great choice because they?re high in protein and calories. Dried Fruit:Dried fruit is a rich source of fiber.Moreover, it has a high content value of vitamins and minerals which are necessary for overall health .

Hi,to overcome this weakness, take Alfavena malt, 2 tsf, twice daily for 1 month. BC no. 27, 5 tabs twice daily. Take Biofungin syrup, 2 tsp twice daily. Drink plenty of water. Eat a well balanced nutritious diet. Take Sound sleep of 7-8 hours. Avoid stress and anger, try to be happy, have a positive attitude towards life. Revert me after 15 days.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1. Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2. Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3. Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4. Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A. Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B. At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c. Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D. Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E. Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F. Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G. Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H. Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

Please note the followings in respect to your queries: Banana and Milk -- Bananas are full of calories and contain high amount of carbohydrates and potassium that give you instant energy. Whosoever want to gain weight must eat a banana daily in the morning with a glass of warm milk. Add a teaspoon of sugar in it. Moreover, you can also have it after your meals. Note – Don’t eat bananas when you are down with common cold. If you have any medical disease that needs to be treated. Find a great personal trainer and yoga instructor to keep you consistent. Take Five phos - 4 tablets twice daily.

Most of us live with excruciating amount of stress. Rising competition, the rat race, our loans, insurances, health, family, social life and work, everything these days is simply adds on to our levels of stress.

It’s the stress that reminds us of deadlines, prompts us to work better. But the most common type of stress, or distress can have negative effects on our body. Apart from general physical health, it can hurt our bones as well.

1. Excess Stress and Our Bones: Excess stress releases chemicals into bloodstream, particularly the hormone cortisol. Now, this is the hormone that gives our brain and body a temporary boost. But having this hormone for a long term can result in real damage to our bone density. Meanwhile, it can even elevate our blood pressure, result in glucose problems and digestive issues with cardiovascular symptoms.

2. Reduced Bone Density: Reduced bone density, due to stress has several negative effects. For instance, it can increase sugar cravings and lead to obesity. It can also lead to osteoporosis and a number of recurrent fractures.

3. Cortisol Catch: Remember how researchers and doctors informed people that phosphoric acid in cola acts as a corrosive agent? Well that’s what cortisol does in long term. This can even result in other problems, such as exhaustion.

So, how should you deal with it?

Chronic stress can be dealt by understanding what the cause of stress is. Once you have the cause, follow simple relaxation tips, such as,

- Meditate for a few minutes, breathe deeply, exercise and tune into your body. Even ten-fifteen minutes of this is enough.

- Crank up the tunes, listen to a few songs, laugh or loud watching shows or simply go out with your friends.

- Eat well balanced meal, avoid alcohol and recreational drugs, be positive and seek out social support if needed.

- And if the stress still haunts you, consult a counsellor or a doctor for support.

Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3.
