I am so weak in health. please help for growing me. And how can increase my weight.
When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. So you should take following remedies improving weight a]triphala kadha 4tsp before lunch and dinner b]amala juice 4 tsp + sugar 2 tsp+ honey 2 tsp empty stomach in the morning umami flavor increases satiety and enhances appetite. Due to improving hunger and digestion whatever you will eat more and even you eat more it will digest properly and your weight will increase naturally without any supplement.

Hi , pls follow the doctor prescribed medicine. Which controls the diabetics and will not allow you increase. But along with medication, you need to concentrate on food also. Make sure you food must have high protein, fiber and omega-3 nutrition. For a diabetics, its good to have more protein rather than carbohydrates, which converts into glucose and may have a chance to increase the diabetes. Let me suggest you the best medicine. Have a nice day.

Thanks for the query. Most often we lose weight because we are in stress, our basic diet is poor, overburden of work, which all leads to lack of nutrition and thereby reduced immunity and weight. It is important to know that just eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfill your nutrient needs. Most often we skip meals especially when at work or in college. We start our day on empty stomach but our work or stress or activity is never reduced. This causes weakness and lack of energy levels. Food is our source of energy and if you don't eat well as per your needs you are going to get deficient in many nutrients. So, start by eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Sleep well.    Exercise at least thrice a week.

Women's health tips for heart, mind, and body

Looking for the path toward a healthier you? it's not hard to find. The journey begins with some simple tweaks to your lifestyle. The right diet, exercise, and stress-relief plan all play a big role.

Follow a heart-healthy diet

Eat more fruits and veggies. Choose whole grains. Try brown rice instead of white. Switch to whole wheat pasta. Choose lean proteins like poultry, fish, beans, and legumes. Cut down on processed foods, sugar, salt, and saturated fat.

Tricia montgomery, 52, the founder of k9 fit club, knows first-hand how the right diet and lifestyle can help. For her, choosing healthy foods and planning small, frequent meals works well" I don't deny myself anything" she says" I still have dessert -- key lime pie, yum! -- and I love frozen gummy bears, but moderation is key"

Exercise every day

The more active you are, the better, meng says. Exercise boosts your heart health, builds muscle and bone strength, and wards off health problems.

Aim for 2 and a half hours of moderate activity, like brisk walking or dancing, every week. If you're ok with vigorous exercise, stick to 1 hour and 15 minutes a week of things like running or playing tennis. Add a couple of days of strength training, too.

If you're busy, try short bursts of activity throughout the day. Walk often. A good target is 10, 000 steps a day. Take the stairs. Park your car far away from your destination.

Montgomery exercises every day, often with her dog. By adding lunges, squats, and stairs to a walk, she turns it into a power workout" I also am a huge pilates fan" she says.

Lose weight

When you shed pounds you'll lower your risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and cancer.

Aim for a slow, steady drop. Try to lose 1-2 pounds a week by being active and eating better.
It doesn't have to be an hour of intense exercise every day" meng says" any little bit helps"

As you improve, dial up the time and how hard you work out. If you want to lose a lot of weight, try for 300 minutes of exercise a week.

"Eating a healthy diet will go a long way" meng says. Start by cutting sugar, which she says is often hiding in plain sight -- in store-bought items like salad dressing, packaged bread, and nuts. Try to avoid soda and sugar-laced coffee drinks, too.

Cut down your stress

It can take a toll on your health. You probably can't avoid it altogether, but you can find ways to ease the impact. Don't take on too much. Try to set limits with yourself and others. It's ok to say no.

To relieve stress, try:

Deep breathing, meditation, yoga, exercise, healthy eating, talking to a friend, family member, or professional counselor.

1. Helps in losing weight - Drinking warm water mixed in honey and lemon is very good for health. It helps in losing weight and for this simple reason, people who want to lose weight should take it for sure.

2. No Constipation - This combination of warm water, lemon and honey is so good for health that if taken on an empty stomach it is helpful in keeping constipation at bay. It stimulates the digestive system, infuses water in dried stool which removes constipation completely.

3. Cleanse lymphatic system - Lack of water in the already dehydrated lymphatic system leads to problems like fatigue, disturbed sleep and blood pressure level and hinders mental development. But when you take water in lemon and honey, the lymphatic system gets hydrated and your body functions properly.

4. Keep bad breath at bay and improves oral health - Taste of honey and lemon removes any kind of bad breath in your mouth. Also, these keep your mouth bacteria-free and that's how without direct care, mouth gets benefited indirectly.

5. Boost immune system - Vitamin C helps in fighting cold. As it is high in potassium, it controls blood pressure as well as stimulates brain function.

General Physician,
Vitamin D: high levels do no harm

Over the last years there has been a sharp rise in the use of vitamin D supplements. But toxic levels remain rare. According to a study published in "Mayo Clinic Proceedings, even vitamin D levels classified as high were found to do no harm.

For their analysis, researchers from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester (Minnesota) used data from the Rochester Epidemiology Project from the years 2002 until 2011. Out of 20,308 blood samples analysed, only eight per cent had vitamin D levels above 50 ng/mL - which was considered as "high"; not even one per cent had levels above 100 ng/mL.

"We found that even in those with high levels of vitamin D over 60 ng/ML, there was not an increased risk of hypercalcaemia, or elevated serum calcium, with increasing levels of vitamin D, said co-author Thomas D. Thacher.

Elevated vitamin D levels were mainly found in women older than 65. This was not surprising because this age group takes these supplements particularly often, said Thacher. In general, however, the rate of people with high levels has increased significantly over the last years: while the number was at nine out of 100,000 people in 2002, it increased to 233 out of 100,000 in 2011.

A true toxic vitamin D overdose was only found in one person - the vitamin D level had reached 364 ng/mL after taking 50,000 IU (international units) of vitamin D every day for three months The recommended upper limit for people with vitamin D deficiency is 4,000 IU a day.

The best natural medicines for loose motion is jeera (cumin). Chew 5 grams jeera in morning and after chewing it drink half glass lukewarm water, within a day your loose motion will be cured still if the problem is not solved you can consult with privately, I would suggest don't go for antibiotics because they have their own side effects. Eat this 3 times a day first in morning empty stomach second in afternoon and thirdly in evening around 7 to 8 p. M. Your stomach pain will also be cured jeera. Keep taking for 20 days.
