Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Avoid junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Tea. Coffee. Avoid alcohol consumption if you do.

Hi Dr. I felt some pain in my anus yesterday while pushing myself for any action just like getting off from bed or going to stand whatever. Today the pain is not much as yesterday but I have been feeling as there is something heavy in anus. I tried to figure out any physical pain by touching but could not find any point. Please suggest if this is a normal issue or can lead to a serious one. Also suggest some prevention. Thanks.

Please give more details about your daily food habits. Daily fluid intake veggies and fruits intake Fiber intake how much do you exercise daily what is your job. Take a consult for specific advise.

I am a 50 year old man. For the past 1 month, I have pain in my right shoulder which gradually stretches in the right hand and even till d fingers. What is it? is it something worrisome. 3months back I had pneumonia also but now its totally cured. My sugar is- fasting 104, after eating 144. Bp is in control as I regularly take medicine. Help would be appreciated thanks.

Hello lybrate-user, You might be having slip disc as it's common in young age, if treated in early stage there chance of fully recovery first of all you need to change your activity avoid sitting for prolong duration take a break after every 15 mins, avoid floor activity ,lifting heavy wt and start physiotherapy core stabilising exercises along with this can can take for few days anti-inflammatory with muscle relaxant if properly followed you need to be worried, do consult if require.

Suffering from back strain (no pain) for the last 3-4 years. X-ray and MRI shows no defects except normal age related degeneration. I am presently 57 years old. Had undergone Allopathic, Homoeopathic and Ayurvedic treatments including physiotherapy. The strain has not decreased but is worse now. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

As far as the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis is considered please understand that it is an auto-immune disorder, whose treatment is not mentioned in principles in any treatment modalities. Hello, your problem is may be due to following reasons- 1. Overweight, 2. Deficiency of vitamin d3 or calcium, or lack of water content in the body, 3. Postural stress, 4. Muscle strain, 5. Arthritis etc. Please send me all investigation reports if available. Till then you can follow these advises:- 1. Take calcium supplements and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting. 3. Avoid squatting and weight bearing activities. 4. Use western toilet. 5. Wear shock absorbing, good quality of shoes while walking. 6. Keep roll of a towel under your knees while sleeping. 7. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints before getting out of your bed. 8. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. 9. Perform deep breathing exercises or yoga for proper functioning of lungs. I can explain you stiffness and pain reducing techniques, if interested. Wish you a happy and pain free life thanks.

I am a 31.5 years old man who has been working in a Corporate environment for more than 11 years now. For the last 11+ years, I have been doing evening / night shifts. Recently, I have moved on a Project for 2 weeks where I have to do morning shift. From past 2 days, I have been waking up at 8 AM and go to bed by 12 / 1 AM. The issue is that I have started getting pain in my upper back (Parallel to Ribs). This pain starts around 10 at night and there is also a minor pain in my throat (Sore throat). When I wake up at 8 in the morning, the pain is there. However as I take a shower and get ready for work, the pain almost goes away and then starts again at 10 PM. I have never had this type of pain (In upper back) in my life. Infact, I really never had any body ache besides some minor back pain in back due to stress and that went away years ago. I am really confused whether it's due to change in lifestyle or is it something serious. I agree that my lifestyle is very unhealthy. I am a smoker who smokes 8 - 9 cigarettes a day and have been smoking from past 16 years.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, Upper back and throat pain is due to prolong sitting and environment of your work profile that you are doing right now. And you mentioned that you smoke from last 16 years right, so prolong smoker have many death full diseases n even death due to collapse of lung and smoke also dysfunctional of oesophageal track. So, in my opinion, my suggestion for upper back pain is a big deal, if you stopped smoking you save 3 thing first, your life from death full disease: you save the environment n you also save the world. About your pain, cercumductio n rotator motion of 3/4 times daily basis before you start your work.
