The anxiety may be due to digestive disorder and hyper acidity, which could be due to your sedentary job and life style problem. May be due to digestive disorder. Observe the following to improve your digestive system---*Diet –Avoid fried, spicy and sour foods. *Maintain food timings-neither stomach should be empty nor heavy, frequent small helpings may be ok. *Prefer – whole grains, milk, curd, greens, fruits and such items which suit you. *Have timely and adequate sleep. *. Drinking lots of water is good.*Be relaxed and avoid tension *. Daily jogging or such exercise to ensure good blood circulation which helps digestion, dissipation of gases and nutrients reaching the body *Increased blood circulation, in turn, takes away toxins from the system making you more active agile and fit. Digestive disorder and flatulence bloats your abdomen causing pressure on other adjacent organs. Homoeopathy has good treatment for stomach pain acidity and flatulence without adverse effects. Take Nux vomica 200 in the morning and in the evening for 6 days and give feedback.

Dear lybrate-user. For social anxiety disorder, hand shaking is enough. There may not be any other symptoms like nervousness or fear. Social anxiety disorder treatment consists of cognitive behavioral therapy, life style changes, relaxation therapy and meditation. Once you learn how to manage your anxiety yourself with the help of the above treatment methods, you will be cured. The process could take some time according to the depth of the problem and the circumstances at which the patient lives. Take care.

My Younger brother whose age is 20 and student of psychology and economics , He suffered from psychosis as he used to smoke marijuana hash and weeds for the last two and half years and suddenly stopped it, we consulted Dr. and some medication prescribed by him. When I came to know about situation I went to Aligarh from Delhi (Working here) and found that he was not able to sleep for the last 5 days (probably 1 hr each day he slept) after we consulted psychiatrist he went extremely well as we took him to a trip for five days, after 5-7 days we stopped medication as he was good as earlier and suddenly after 5 days a relapse in same situation with fear and phobia and that phobia is increasing day by day and sometimes decreasing, I am not able to understand what exactly we need to do. The medication prescribed are-Divaa OD-250 (Divalproex Sodium) - 250mgOleanz (Olanzapine) - 5MgLonazep 2 Mgand after relapse -Felicita OD Caps. He used to study and practice spiritual things like Aura reading, psychic powers and Illuminati Groups, he fears that something bad going to happen according to his extra sensory perception which I cannot understand. Whenever he watches any tv channel relates it to himself or family or our family ancestors and fears that there is conspiracy and planning to kill or abduct us (family or him). He is now having suicidal thoughts which I am extremely worried about, he is an intelligent student and extra ordinary performer with good IQ. According to him Delhi is not safe for him, however I decided to take him to mother in hometown which is in UP East, we have a sorrow filled family history with divorce of our parents at the age of 8. Father had fewer symptoms of schizophrenia and very mild and he is an ENT surgeon, a doctor by profession. I am 22 years old, doing job in a BPO to support family and studies, I always used to send him very limited money so that he himself can do some part time job to become a responsible person but he was never able to do so. Please help me to get my brother on right track and remove all delusional or false thought from his mind. Doctor now prescribed trinicalm, which is for schizophrenia and which blocks dopamine receptors, he is happy and gets sometimes fear about being himself or me abducted as he has posted and revealed illuminati groups, according to him which is delusional. His eyelids moves sometime at very frequent interval which I think involuntary. Please he me, I will be highly obliged to you doctors.

My Younger brother whose age is 20 and student of psychology and economics , He suffered from psychosis as he used to...
Yes you are indeed taking good care of him and so is the psychiatrist. Keeping him mentally and physically occupied with a purpose is important. Some delusions will go away and some new might come. It takes time for delusions to leave a person completely. Counselling can helps schizophrenics if they are not extremely disturbed by it. Ask his doctor and take him for counselling to control his delusions and fears. Also the drugs weed and marijuana would have weakened his system and left behind a lot of toxins which will continue to show their presence by way of emotional and mental imbalance. I suggest that he does a detox so that the toxins can be eliminated. Ayurveda has some powerful detoxification therapies and will help him to reduce symptoms. Though allopathy medicines are suiting him, but they have side effects as well. I suggest that you take an informed decision and educate yourself on these. Ayurveda and homeopathy are slow to treat but come with fewer side effects. Take your call after you have done your research. Besides this exercising regularly and eating a healthy meal has tremendous benefits on mental and emotional wellbeing too. Try to reduce junk to minimum as there are enough studies linking it to depression and other mental illness. Don't leave him alone as he's suicidal. He will need constant monitoring without him feeling overwhelmed. He should be in social company of friendly and supportive people as this will keep him integrated with the society. Lastly, I request you to take care of yourself as you seem to be the caretaker. Take frequent brakes to replenish your energies and meeting your own life goals. Get help from friends, neighbors, relatives etc. Look into your own food, sleep and exercise. Remember that you can take care of him longer if you care for yourself first.

Hello Paray stress can produce inner tension, depressive symptoms, difficulties to concentrate and other issues in any one. Unemployment is definitely a reason for stress. My advice to you is never back off. Fight hard until you win one day. Have a good diet and exercise. Don't skip breakfast. Avoid smoking and alcohol if any. Maintain a proper sleep pattern. Stay focused and keep targets to achieve to keep yourself motivating. All the best for a successful career and life.

You can learn more efficiently and improve your memory by doing the following: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning at least five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There is a new exercise called Super Brain Yoga, which is done by holding the right earlobe with your left thumb and index finger, and the left earlobe with your right hand’s thumb and index finger. In this position you must squat down and rise up and do this for five minutes every day. There are some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling too. The following foods do help too: Blueberries, walnuts, turmeric, Spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, acorn squash, green tea, oily fish, boiled egg, turkey, apples, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, pumpkin seeds, avocado, cinnamon, thyme, sunflower seeds, and red wine. Avoid sugar and junk food.
