1. Lie on your back. ... 2. Cross your left leg over your right so that your left ankle rests on your right knee. 3. Use your hands to grab hold of your left knee and pull it gently toward the opposite shoulder. ... 4. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds. 5. Relax, and then repeat with the other leg. 6. Repeat this cycle 2 to 4 times.

Disabling Pain in Shoulder - Can it be a Sign of Shoulder Impingement?

Shoulder impingement is a serious condition leading to severe pain in the shoulder blades of a person. Such kind of shoulder pain may affect anybody anytime. It basically affects the area of your shoulder facing stress due to any sort of overhead action. An impactful pressure on the tendons of bones constituting your shoulder gives rise to this disorder. This syndrome can affect a person who paints, swims, lifts or plays tennis on a regular basis. Once caused, persistent rendering of similar activities can worsen the case. If you are suffering from shoulder impingement syndrome, treatment under an experienced medical practitioner is indeed necessary as otherwise, you may have to suffer from tendinitis or bursitis.

Take a keen look at the symptoms of shoulder impingement
1. Disabling pain in and around the shoulders
2. Under the effect of such excruciating pain, a person has restricted use of his or her arms and neck. He or she will face difficulties in reaching to a higher position above his or head. Aiming up behind your back will also be a challenge with the existence of this syndrome.
3. There is considerable weakness in the muscles of your shoulders, preventing you from working with full vigor
4. If left unattended, shoulder impingement can worsen to cause Rotator Cuff Tear where the tendons tear into two distinctive parts.

Available modes of treatment
1. A doctor might prescribe you anti- inflammatory drugs to relieve you from excess pain. These drugs should only be taken under the close monitoring of a specialist as they might have acute side effects. You might feel nauseous or might have an upset stomach after consuming these medications.
2. Stretching your arms above your head while holding your body in an erect posture can be of great help. This stretching exercise should be tried out in a warm shower for better results.
3. Other exercises under the supervision of a physiotherapist can come to your rescue as well. You should try to move your thumb up your back to recuperate from shoulder impingement.

Sir you can have pain in any other teeth or some gum infection but pain after rct should not be there if so go for an x-ray of the tooth problem can be diagnosed.

It needs to be investigated. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Joint Pain - How Ayurveda Can Help You Treat it?

For a disease that affects almost eighty percent of people over 50 years of age, not much is known about curing joint pains. Allopathic medicine remains almost clueless about a complete cure for joint pains which occur due to various reasons like heredity and lifestyle. It treats the pain with pain killers, inflammation reducers and other such drugs which do not heal the joint completely and lead to other problems too.

Ayurveda and Joint Pain
Ayurveda has its own unique perspective on joint problems. According to it, these occur due to:

  • Poorly-nourished joints
  • Low bone density and overall weakness in joints

The main symptom of poorly nourished joints is discomfort followed by a crackling sound. In this, the bone making up the joint can degenerate due to lack of proper nutrition. Low bone density joints usually occur due to a toxic overload in the joints called ‘ama’ in Ayurveda. Ama is the sticky, toxic waste product of incomplete digestion and this accumulates in joints making them stiff and heavy. Ama accumulation for long can make a joint swollen and painful. Damp, cold weather can aggravate this type of joint problem. If ‘vata’ the Ayurvedic dosha associated with movements and proper functioning of metabolism and assimilation is aggravated, it can cause joint pain too.

The imbalance in Vyana Vata, a special form of vata associated with bone damage along with weakened circulation, metabolism and absorption creates an imbalance in ‘kapha’ the other major dosha in the body, according to Ayurveda. ‘Shleshaka’ Kapha, the sub-dosha of Kapha that controls lubrication of joints dries up. This makes the un-lubricated joints very vulnerable and one starts getting pain.

Ayurvedic treatment
The first line of treatment for joint pains is pacifying the Vata dosha through food and lifestyle modifications like:

  • Include all six tastes -sweet, sour, salty, bitter, astringent, and pungent- in the diet. However, sweet, sour and salty tastes are very good to pacify Vata dosha.
  • Eat less of bitter, astringent and pungent foods.
  • Eat more grains like quinoa, rye and amaranth, cooked in ghee.
  • Freshly-cooked organic vegetables and warm liquid soups are best.
  • Eat a diet rich in calcium- milk, spinach, kale, asparagus, and root vegetables.
  • A Vata pacifying daily routine like eating before 8 pm in the night and keeping dinner light and sleeping early are also advised.

If possible get a daily Ayurvedic oil massage ‘abhyanga’ with special medicated oils to prevent joint problems. Regular habits help settle Vata. So, it’s suggested that one goes to bed at the same time each day, gets up at the same time and follows a regular routine for pacifying Vata. Getting stress under control though meditation and pranayama also does wonders. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an Ayurveda.

Do back strengthening exercises and avoid weight and bending movements. Go to your nearest physiotherapy clinic and treat your back with lumbar traction, swd (short wave diathermy) only for 8-10 minutes for daily basis. Do not apply very much dry heat on your affected area. For home treatment you will apply moist heat pack like hot towel or hot water bottel.

dear user, for knee pain you can apply heat fermentation twice a day with any pain relief ointment for a week. if no improvement the you need to go for RA factor test and need to take inferential and ultrasonic therapy for 1month to resuce pain. and for your second problem i suggest you to contact me privately as u said i have a solution.

Medication for hypertension can lead to feet and leg swelling. The best way to control the swelling is to wear compression stockings-grade 2 from toes to knees, in the morning when the swelling in minimal, wear it all day and remove it while going to sleep.

Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Press the point on the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from toe in the foot 20 times by pressing and releasing with a blunt edge of a pen. Further rotate your foot clockwise and anticlockwise 10 times. Massage your leg with both hands. Please report the progress after 5 days.

Dear at ur age it mainly occurs due to improper posture, try the tips they will help u:: 1.Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). 2.Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. 3.Increase the consumption of vitamin C in diet. 4.Take fresh Ginger into pieces, place in the cup of water and boil it for 30 minutes in low flame. Cool for 30 minutes after boiling. Consume this solution with Honey. 5.While sleeping, lie straight on your back or with bent knees supported by a pillow. 6.Taking hot and cold compresses on an alternate basis can be quite helpful in relieving pain. 7. Do bhujangasana, mandukasana, shalabhasana and natrajasana daily for 10 min in morning. 8. Always sit straight and stand straight.

High-ESR, CRP Alkaline Phosphate, SGOT, RDW-SD, RDW-CV, PWD, MPV, PLCR, Antimony, calcium, Vanadium Low- PH, Iron, MCHC, Bismuth, 25-OH vitamin, Vitamin B-12, Haemoglobin All the Test Reports are Normal/ Negative associated with following symptomsincluding Immunoglobulin A, G, M, eGFR, ACCP, ANA (titre, screening), ANA, BUN, BUN/Creatinine ratio, Creatinine serum, Uric Acid, blood glucose, calcium, sodium, potassium, chloride, phosphorus, RA factor, ASO, Complement-3, Xray Chest Adult, whole abdomen ETC. Confirmed Ankylosing Spondylitis With (?) Fibromyalgia Bilateral sacroiliac joint show hypointensity along the iliac side on both T1-weighted and T2-weighted images in subarticular location suggestive of focal sclerosis. Small erosions seen along bilateral articular margins. Negative for local areas of T2 STIR hyperintensities to suggest local oedema. MRI SI joints with screening of lumbosacral spine shows: Features to suggest bilateral sacroiliitis as described. Symptoms: Musculoskeletal pain Color and smell of urine changes frequently. 3 .Mood swing and do not like rush, hard smell, noisy sound, light and party-function. Pain area may change in days, weeks or months (any two of neck, hip, lower back, upper back knee ,ankle, chest bone etc.). Affected Part’s temperature high. 7. Heatingaffectedpart, andproperdigestion,passinggasandbodymassagerelievesymptoms. 8. Chronic, diffuse, sharp, throbbing, or severe pain in muscles, tendons, and ligaments around the joints and near to joints. It migrates over the body. 9. Less sugar, potato, rice take more papaya and pine apple 5. 30 mts walk daily may be with help 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night 8. Expose your body to sun for 15-20 mts daily after some oil massage to get vit d. 9. Take more water- proper hydration. 10. Laugh for 2 mts for medicine contact on private chat. Be positive and interact with friends and relatives .also do you have to improve your food habits do 1. Take 2/ 3 glass of warm water in the morning before brush 2. Take more water in day 3.
