Started 2 years back. Earlier there was no pain. I used to play badminton and football regularly. May I got injury while playing. There was no swelling or anything as such. Discomfort was there while bending my right knee. These year the pain started all of a sudden. I could bear the pain in both the knees. After I used to walk for average 2 to 3 km, the pain would start. I decided to do MRI for my right knee. The report says "Partial discoid morphology of the medial meniscus with horizontal cleavage tear in the posterior horn. After I did MRI as suggested by a Ortho, he told me to have medicines of calcium such as jointace C2 and some pain killers. I tried medicines too, but there is no improvement yet. Consulted one physiotherapist, she said the injury is old and it will take quite some time to recover through regular exercise sessions. Any suggestions is appreciated. After I stopped playing, I have gained weight that adds insult to my injury.
