Why my stomach is bloating I don't know please help me for this so many years my is bloating it look really bad.
Hi, Thanks for your question on Lybrate I do understand your concern “As” per your clinical history is concerned first rule out dyspepsia and to confirm the cause responsible for it you need one endoscopy and test your stool. Regarding medication you can take [pantoprazole-20 mg] once a day. Do take few preventive steps like this-: 1) Eat small meals and chew thoroughly 2) Avoid fatty foods, spicy foods, processed foods, carbonated beverages, caffeine etc 3) Try to maintain a healthy weight 4) Practice yoga and meditation to manage stress 5) Do not take any painkillers Hope that helps, Please do tests as suggested and follow me to add further.

I have fatty liver. Sgot and sgpt level is high. And high cholesterol. Uric acid high level. What should i do?

MBBS, MD - Internal Medicine

I have fatty liver. Sgot and sgpt level is high. And high cholesterol. Uric acid high level. What should i do?
high cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take green veg., whole grain. Take anti cholesterol medicines . take anti uric acid medicines.and medicines for liver .

Avoid tea/coffee alcohol, smoking spicy food. Life style changes and food habbits can solve your problem easily. Chew your food properly. Avoid outside food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Tab nexpro-l 1 tab empty stomach. Consult doctor.

Five food groups namely  cereals (like rice, wheat in any form, oats in any form ), pulses  (like any dal), vegetables, fruits and animal protein  (meat, fish, egg, milk in any form )should be present in adequate amount in the food of your baby. Basic principles of feeding are 1) it should be acceptable I. E. Kids should like eating it. 2) tolerable i.e. After  eating if baby develop abdominal distension,  vomiting, loose stool,  rash that means your baby can't tolerate the product.  3) appropriate consistency I. E. Porridge like with gradual change so that by the age of 2 normal adult foods can be given to the kids.  4) all the food groups should be present in the menu of whole day. Antacids and digestive enzymes can be given for acidity and digestive problem.

I suffer from flatulence and gas, what are the treatments for this condition?
Please advise the medication.
Hello, Thanks for your query. Try an over-the-counter medicine containing simethicone, which helps to break down gas bubbles. You can try a process of elimination by substituting a gassy food for a non-gassy one, and see which one is giving you the most trouble. A few basic substitutions: • Rice milk for cow’s milk • Bananas, blueberries and melon for apples, peaches and plums • Gluten-free and spelt cereals and bread for wheat and rye products • Bamboo shoots, bok choy, carrot, celery, corn, eggplant, green beans, lettuce, chives, parsnip, pumpkin, and tomato for artichokes, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, okra, onions, and peas. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
