Dear lybrate-user, We understand that your wife is suffering from pain and bleeding per rectum along with fatigue and abdominal colic. Please note that rectal pain and bleeding can be a symptom of PIles or Haemorrhoids. Haemorrhoids (also known as piles) are swollen and inflamed veins in the rectum or anus. Typical symptoms are pain, burning, itching and bleeding around or from the anal area. Haemorrhoids are caused by an increase in pressure in the lower rectum from: straining during bowel movements, sitting for long periods of time, especially on the toilet, chronic (long lasting) constipation or diarrhoea, being overweight or obese, low-fibre diet etc. We are treating a lot of patients suffering from piles and most of them are showing positive results under our medicines and guidance. Within weeks of taking our medicines they are experiencing significant reduction in pain, burning, bleeding related to piles. However we cannot predict the exact time frame of treatment since it varies from person to person. Please feel free to get in touch with us for further queries and assistance. Thanks.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern. It's not clear what causes irritable bowel syndrome, treatment focuses on the relief of symptoms. Following steps should be taken 1. Eliminating high-gas foods such items as carbonated beverages, vegetables — especially cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower — and raw fruits. 2.Some people are sensitive to types of carbohydrates such as fructose, fructans & lactose, called FODMAPs .They are found in certain grains, vegetables, fruits and dairy products such as wheat, rye, barley, onion, garlic, apples, apricots, avocados, blackberries, cherries, etc. In some patient avoiding these food shows improvement in symptoms 3.Taking fiber supplements, such as psyllium or methylcellulose, with fluids may help control constipation. Fiber obtained from food may cause much more bloating compared with a fiber supplement. 4.Anti-diarrheal medications such as loperamide, can help control diarrhea. 5.Anticholinergic and antispasmodic medications. These medications, such as hyoscyamine and dicyclomine, can help relieve painful bowel spasms. They should not be used if you have constipation. 6.Counseling. You may benefit from counseling if you have depression or if stress tends to worsen your symptoms. 7. In some people improvement in diarrhea symptoms occurs, if they stop eating gluten (wheat, barley and rye) Don't worry you would be fine Hoping your query is solved.

Do regular exercise. Make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet. If you are non vegetarian include eggs chicken and fish in your diet. Fluids should not be taken before or with a meal but only after a meal so that food intake is not reduced. Take small and frequent meals.
