I am traveling a lot due to my job profile and usually stay at hotels and take outdoor dinners. I take pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, mutton, chicken etc as foods from clean joints and prefer Pizza Hut, dominos, KFC, McDonald's etc or some good restaurant as prices are no issues. So my question is if my food choices are ok as it comes in my lifestyle and will continue as it is for the coming 20 years.

Subway is better option for you instead of other fast food. You can choose salads, fruit chat, sprouts, vegetable sandwich and fish and chicken (roasted or grilled instead of fried).

What do you mean by malaria? What is the symptoms of malaria? What are its causes, prevention and how to apply this.

What do you mean by malaria? What is the symptoms of malaria? What are its causes, prevention and how to apply this.
Hello, Malaria is an acute febrile illness. In a non-immune individual, symptoms appear 7 days or more (usually 10–15 days) after the infective mosquito bite. The first symptoms – fever, headache, chills and vomiting – may be mild and difficult to recognize as malaria. If not treated within 24 hours, P. falciparum malaria can progress to severe illness, often leading to death. Children with severe malaria frequently develop 1 or more of the following symptoms: severe anaemia, respiratory distress in relation to metabolic acidosis, or cerebral malaria. In adults, multi-organ involvement is also frequent. In malaria endemic areas, people may develop partial immunity, allowing asymptomatic infections to occur. Malaria is a mosquito-borne infectious disease of humans and other animals caused by parasitic protozoans (a group of single-celled microorganisms) belonging to the genus Plasmodium. The disease is transmitted by the biting of mosquitos, and the symptoms usually begin ten to fifteen days after being bitten. Prevention: Methods used to prevent malaria include medications, mosquito elimination and the prevention of bites. There is no vaccine for malaria. The presence of malaria in an area requires a combination of high human population density, high anopheles mosquito population density and high rates of transmission from humans to mosquitoes and from mosquitoes to humans. -Mosquito nets help keep mosquitoes away from people and reduce infection rates and transmission of malaria. Nets are not a perfect barrier and are often treated with an insecticide designed to kill the mosquito before it has time to find a way past the net. -Indoor residual spraying is the spraying of insecticides on the walls inside a home. -Cover over areas of stagnant, still water, such as water tanks that are ideal breeding grounds for the parasite and mosquito, thus cutting down the risk of the transmission between people. -There are a number of drugs that can help prevent or interrupt malaria in travelers to places where infection is common. Many of these drugs are also used in treatment.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence is condition characterized by the inability to develop or maintain an erection of the penis during sex. A penile erection is the effect of blood entering and being retained in sponge-like bodies within the penis. The process is most often initiated as a result of sexual arousal when signals are transmitted from the brain to nerves in the penis. The most important organic causes are heart disease and diabetes, neurological problems (for example, trauma from prostatectomy surgery), hormonal insufficiencies and side effects to certain drugs Psychological impotence is where erection or penetration fails due to thoughts or feelings (psychological reasons) rather than physical impossibility; this is somewhat less frequent but can often be helped. Notably in psychological impotence, there is a strong response to placebo therapy. Erectile dysfunction can have severe psychological consequences as it can be tied to relationship difficulties and masculine self-image generally. Most men have occasionally experienced some difficulty with their penis becoming hard or staying firm, but this is not erectile dysfunction, which is a concern only if satisfactory sexual performance has been impossible on a persistent number of occasions for some time. Broadly, two forms of erectile dysfunction can affect men's sex lives - the main cause is either medical or psychosocial. Here, psychosocial means psychological effects - including the effects of social relationships - on sexual performance. Of course, medical conditions can also affect psychological wellbeing, and while the main cause of sexual impotence will be medical or psychological, there can be overlap between the two. Erectile dysfunction used to be known more widely as'impotence' before the causes became better understood and successful treatments came into use. Impotence is a term that is still in use, however. Signs and symptoms Erectile dysfunction is characterized by the regular or repeated inability to obtain or maintain an erection. It is analysed in several ways: •Obtaining full erections at some times, such as night time erecting when asleep (when the mind and psychological issues, if any, are less present), tends to suggest that the physical structures are functionally working. Other factors leading to erectile dysfunction are diabetsic neuropathy. •Causes •Drugs (anti-depressants (SSRIs[6]) and nicotine are most common) •Neurogenic disorders[7] •Cavernosal disorders (Peyronie's disease[8]) •Psychological causes: performance anxiety, stress, and mental disorders[9] •Surgery[10] •Aging. It is four times more common in men aged in their 60s than those in their 40s.[11] •Kidney failure •Diseases such as diabetes mellitus and multiple sclerosis (MS). While these two causes have not been proven they are likely suspects as they cause issues with both the blood flow and nervous systems. •Lifestyle: smoking is a key cause of erectile dysfunction.[12][13] Smoking causes impotence because it promotes arterial narrowing.[14] Surgical intervention for a number of conditions may remove anatomical structures necessary to erection, damage nerves, or impair blood supply. Erectile dysfunction is a common complication of treatments for prostate cancer, including prostatectomy and destruction of the prostate by external beam radiation, although the prostate gland itself is not necessary to achieve erection. ED can also be associated with bicycling due to both neurological and vascular problems due to compression.[15] The increase risk appears to be about 1.7-fold.[16] Fast facts on erectile dysfunction Here are some key points about erectile dysfunction. More detail and supporting information can be given on personal or private chat. Erectile dysfunction is a persistent problem getting an erection sufficient to have sex. Causes are usually medical but can also be psychological. Organic causes are usually the result of an underlying medical condition affecting the blood vessels or nerves supplying the penis. Numerous prescription drugs, recreational drugs, alcohol and smoking can all be causes, too. Diagnosis with the help of a doctor will differentiate the likely cause by including a number of questions, blood tests for conditions such as diabetes and heart disease, and physical examination. First-line treatment of erectile dysfunction is with drugs called PDE-5 inhibitors, including the well-known pill sildenafil (Viagra). Mechanical devices are also available to help achieve an erection, and occasional cases that do not respond to medical treatment may be candidates for surgery, to fit a penile implant.

I am suffering from polycystic ovaries syndrome for the last 8 years. I have consulted many doctors too. Now I have child of 3 years and I also had 3 abortions. I am vex of this. I want to know is there any home treatment or diet plan for pcos instead of regular allopathic treatment? Please let me know.

MBBS, DGO, MD, Fellowship in Gynae Oncology
Gynaecologist, Delhi
Yes pcos can be managed with lifestyle and dietary measures. Regular exercise, a healthy diet, weight control, and not smoking are all important parts of treatment for polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos). You may also take medicine to balance your hormones. Healthy lifestyle: if you are overweight, weight loss is the treatment you need. A small amount of weight loss is likely to help balance your hormones and start up your menstrual cycle and ovulation. Eat a balanced diet that includes lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and low-fat dairy products. Get regular exercise to help you control or lose weight and feel better. If you smoke, consider quitting.

Low stamina for sex is a disease that should be treated properly. All you need is to consult doctor to find out the exact cause of low stamina, so that we can give you the treatment. If the cause is not treated, no treatment will help.
