It may be due to IBS. First you have to change your eating habits such as avoid outside bakery products. Take small small meals. Increase your water intake which help to rehydrate you are body. Eat daily one fruit. Start doing yoga n pranayam which will help you to reduce your Anxiety.

I have prolonged bleeding from 25 days. Diagnosis done found uterine polyp of size 4.4cm long and 9 mm thick. Pls suggest the best.

The cause of bleeding is the uterine polyp. And hence unless the polyp is removed, the bleeding will continue. Go to a gynecologist and get the d&c polypectomy done. They wills end the removed polyp for examination, and the treatment will depend on the report most polyps are benign (non cancerous) and do not recur if treatment is given. The doctor may prescribe you ocpills for 3 cycles or preogesterone for 3 cycles to stop polyp from recurring. D&c is the simplest surgery and it is done under anesthesia. Its just lasts few minutes and after the mandatory observation for few hours (4-6) you will be discharged from the hospital. So do not fear and get the dnc done.

In your age gp.headache may be due to weak eyesight /squint /Stress/ acidity. It is advised to go for Eye check up. Do meditation/ relaxing activity to reduce stress level .If headache persist/severe, associated with other symptoms then consult some physician/ neurologist.

For fever take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and For cold take tablet cetrizine at night and For cough take syp ascoril-D 2.5 ml twice a day

A fever is a temporary increase in your body temperature, often due to an illness. Continuous fever the temperature remains above normal throughout the day and does not fluctuate more than 1 degree celsius in 24 hours. This type of fever occurs in lobar pneumonia, typhoid, urinary tract infection, infective endocarditis, brucellosis, typhus etc. Remittent fever the temperature remains above normal throughout the day and fluctuates more than 2 degree celsius in 24 hours. This type of fever is usually seen patients of typhoid infection and infective endocarditis. This type of fever is most common in practice. Intermittent fever the temperature is present only for some hours in a day and remains to normal for the remaining hours. When the spike occurs daily, it is quotidian, when every alternate day, it tertian and when every third day, it is quartan. Intermittent fever is seen in malaria, kala-azar, pyemia, septicemia etc. Hectic or septic fever the temperature variation between peak and nadir is very large and exceeds 5 degree celsius. This type of fever occur in septicemia.

Hello, this may be because of acidity/ indigestion/ gas you can take(if no drug allergy): Tablet Pantocid 40 mg before food once a day for 2-3 days. And follow care advises given below. Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food take home made light food like moong dal, Dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. Kindly see a physician for further management

Your female partner may be having vagismus problem. Ideally if she is relaxed then penis can normally should enter. Try lubrication but if still have a problem then show your girlfriend to a gynaecologist for checkup.

The habit of thumb sucking is very common in many toddlers and babies, but often disturbs the parents to a great extent. Before dealing with this habit, it is very imperative for parents to understand the cause of this behavior. The tendency of thumb sucking is quite normal for the babies as it makes them feel comforting.

Problems that occur with thumb sucking
There are certain problems that occur if the baby develops the habit of prolonged thumb sucking. The problem that occurs mainly on sucking the thumb for longer time is with the teeth of the toddlers which may result in speech problems. Some babies get over this habit of thumb sucking on their own without any adverse after affects. However, sometimes prolonged thumb sucking may result in irritation on the skin or lead to peeling off of the skin, causing discomfort and pain to the child. There are chances that even the nails on the fingers grow in a crooked manner because of infection caused by thumb sucking.

How to get your child to leave thumb sucking habit?

  1. Parents must in any case not force their toddlers to stop this habit or get upset with them, as it can cause the toddler to develop this habit all the more.
  2. A child mainly sucks his thumb for comfort, and the habit can be stopped by diverting their mind and offering the child a soft toy or giving them a special blanket.
  3. It is better to give the toddler something to hold which makes him feel secure and comfortable.
  4. It is very important to assess whether it is a problem before stopping the habit of thumb sucking. But if the habit continues, it may affect the alignment of the teeth.
  5. It is always better to make use of ways like positive reinforcement and encouraging behavior change in your child. Parents must set up a reward system and take a note of the days the child does not suck his thumb. It is important that parents praise their child verbally and give them some reward at the end of the month.
  6. The best and simple way to quit the habit of thumb sucking is to cover the thumb with a thumb guard or mittens.
  7. The best way to help your child quit the habit would be to distract him or her and involve them in activities that would require the use of both the hands. 1. Normal levei is 200-900 pico gram/ml. Less than 200pg/ml is considered deficient. 2. Deficiency occurs due to strict vegetarian diet, 3. Take meat/egg/ fish, poultry, diary product like milk & milk product, 4. Vegetarian sources of b12 are milk, butter milk, yogurt. 5. Vegetarians have to take b12 supplement like one tablet of neurobion forte daily 6. Consult physician for advice and treatment.

Dear sir, divide total water and other liquid diet in 4_8 time. Just after meal taking water is not good. Of course tea is a liquid. But water intake also depends on weather and your personal requirements.

Dear lybrate user. Sperm Count. 40 million to 300 million is the normal range for the number of sperm per milliliter. Counts below 10 million are considered poor; counts of 20 million or more may be fine if motility and morphology are normal. 1. Avoid overheating your testicles. There's a reason our testicles rest outside our bodies: they need to stay a bit cooler than the rest of our internal organs. When testicles get too warm, they aren't able to produce as much sperm.[1] There are a number of ways to make sure your testicles don't get overheated: Don't wear tight pants and jeans. Wear loose, cotton boxer shorts instead of briefs. Sleep without underwear so that your testicles stay cooler. Avoid hot baths and saunas. 2. Wear a jockstrap when you play sports. It goes without saying, because most men know this from experience, but a blow to the balls will hurt you and kill your sperm. 3. Massage your body with herbal oils. This, along with regular exercise, improves overall blood flow and circulation. Increased circulation means healthier sperm. 4. Reduce stress levels. Stress can decrease your sexual function, leading to reduced sperm production.[2] If you work 12 plus hour days and never give yourself a chance to rest, your count might be down as a result. Try practicing relaxation techniques throughout the day to keep yourself feeling calm. Keep your mind and body healthy by regularly practicing yoga and meditation, or take up running or swimming. Stress hormones block Leydig cells, which are tasked with regulating testosterone production. When your body experiences too much stress, it can actually stop producing sperm altogether. Make sure you're getting enough sleep every night. Exhaustion can also lead to increased stress and cause decreased sperm production. 5. Stop smoking. Smoking cigarettes causes sperm counts to be lower, makes them move more slowly, and causes the sperm themselves to be misshapen. 6. Drink alcohol moderately. Alcohol affects your liver function, which, in turn, causes a dramatic spike in estrogen levels. 7. Ejaculate less frequently. Frequent ejaculations can lower sperm count. Your body produces millions of sperm each day, but if you already have low sperm count, consider storing them up longer between ejaculations. If you have sex or masturbate daily, cut down on the frequency for increased sperm production. 8. Be careful around toxins. Exposure to chemicals can affect the size, movement and count of your sperm. It's more and more difficult to avoid exposure to toxins, but it's absolutely necessary for your overall health and the health of your sperm. Do the following to decrease your exposure: If you work around chemicals all day long, protect your skin with long sleeves and gloves, and make sure you wear a mask and goggles to protect your face. Use natural cleaning supplies instead of cleaning with chemicals. Don't use pesticides or herbicides in your house or yard. 9. Be wary of medications. Certain medications can lead to decreased sperm count and even permanent infertility. If sperm production is a big concern for you, make sure you ask your doctor whether any medication prescribed might affect your sperm count. Look at the labels on over-the-counter medicines, too. 10. Involve in physical exercises. 11. Flax seeds increase testosterone in a man's body. They also contain essential fatty acids that are necessary for maintaining libido. Flax seeds help in the proper release of all sex hormones, facilitating sexual desire. Taking one tablespoon of flax seed every day will ensure your sexual health. Take care.
