Asked for male, 29 years
Hello,
Common reasons for dark circle are aging, genetics, nutritional deficiency (of vitamin A, C, K, E) , sleep deprivation, worm-infestation, anemia, smoking & drinking, dehydration, sun exposure, allergies, stress/ tension and hormonal changes.
Research also suggests that dark circles are linked to anemia, and liver diseases.
So, in case of dark circles which are there due to some underlying cause can be get rid rid of once the causative factor is rectified.
But the dark circles which are inherited from our genes can't be removed completely, to some extent can make slightly better.
Diet and Management:
Thus, always take a balanced diet rich in green leafy vegetable, dairy products and all types of fruits to keep your body healthy.
It is advisable to have at least 10-12 glasses of water and include fresh fruit daily. It is also advisable to restrict the intake of caffeinated drinks such as tea, coffee, alcohol and other caffeinated drinks as it aggravates dehydration.
Take enough of 6-8hrs. Of sleep.
Avoid taking stress/ tension.
Do daily exercising regularly as it increases oxygen carrying capacity of the cells and tissues.
Medication:
Take homoeopathic medicines – Schwabe's Cina 1M/ one dose at night for 10 days; Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. - both twice daily for 20 days.
Revert me back there after.

You may use contractubex gel. Massage it 2-3 times daily and then apply silastic sheet over them and keep it that way for atleast 18 hours a day.
Gradually you will see an improvement.
If the scars are raised above the skin surface, then intralesional injections of triamnicolone also help a lot. You may see a dermatologist/plastic surgeon personally for that.
You have to do the treatment for several months before you start seeing improvement.
Thanks.

Looks like you have freckles, it can also be lentigenes.
This can arise in association with some other systems involvement too. Most commonly, intestinal associations can be seen. So, it's important that you consult a specialist physically. Apart from this, you can use a sunscreen with physical block and chemical agents, this will protect your skin from harmful uv rays which will increase these tiny black spots. Make sure your diet is rich in lycopene, this is present in plenty in tomatoes which is more beneficial if had in processed form as puree, ketchup, paste or sauce. Use kojivit gel twice daily over spots.
Asked for female, 29 years old from Visakhapatnam
Hi lybrate-user,
Over time, skin ages and loses its youthful appearance. Wrinkles appear around the eyes, fine lines bloom around the lips, and age spots surface on the hands. While some of these factors are natural and unavoidable, many of the visible signs of aging are caused by the sun, and can be avoided. In addition to aging, skin can lose its elasticity because of excessive exposure to harmful sun rays, excessive smoking, regular intake of alcoholic beverages, obesity, pregnancy, rapid weight loss, a poor diet, use of wrong skin care products, dehydration and use of harsh chemicals on the skin.
There are many approaches to improve the appearance of wrinkles. Chemical peels, advanced facials, Microneedelling therapy, RF therapy, PRP therapy, botox and fillers, to name a few, are some of the treatments available to rejuvenate the skin and improve the appearance of wrinkles.
I would be happy to help you. Please consult me privately so that I can understand your problem in detail and help you.

Lybrate-user, for healthy skin, it should be cleaned, well moiturised and protected from sun. So use some good facewash twice a day (morning and bed time) followed by non comedogenic (non greasy) moituriser. You should use good sunscreen with atleast 30 spf everyday even if indoors.

Panderm is a banned drug combination. It contains steroids. Don't ever apply it over face. For the time use sunscreens minimum spf 30 over face daytime. Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure, repeat every 2-3 hrs during daytime only. Side effects needs time to subside.

Use B&T anti dandruff oil and Shampoo.
Treatment for dark circles:-
Take healthy balanced diet including whole grains, green leafy vegetables, fruits and nuts.
Drink 10 to 12 glasses of water daily.
Take a sound sleep of 8 hours minimum.
Apply bakson's under eye cream on the dark circles.
Apply Ramdev's aloe vera gel on the whole face at night.
Home remedy:-Cucumbers have skin-lightening and mild astringent properties that help fix those
raccoon eyes naturally. Plus, they have a soothing and refreshing effect.
Cut a fresh cucumber into thick slices and chill them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Put the slices onto the affected skin area for about 10 minutes. Wash the area with water. Repeat twice daily for about a week or more.
Another option is to mix cucumber juice with lemon juice in equal amounts. Use a cotton ball to apply the mixture on the affected skin. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then wash it off with water. Follow this remedy daily for at least one week.
Revert after 1 month.

Hi,
Believe me, if you are happy from inside and taking nutritious, healthy food and daily yoga or some kind of exercises, it will be automatically reflected on your face. Yes, the colour which is inherited from your parents/ ancestors, cannot be changed, but you can try to get glow on your face!!
Daily Regime:
Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 – a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone.
In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face.
Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. lead a healthy lifestyle!
Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker!
(Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role).
If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter.
Diet:
-Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon,orange,gooseberry,etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cantaloupe, and green peas).
- Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce) . If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A.
Medicine:
You can also use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel daily at night.
Home remedies:
Apply fresh-squeezed lemon juice to your entire face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes
and then wash it off with lukewarm water. After this, rub cucumber slices on your skin to soften and moisturize it. Do this daily or every other day.
Another option is squeeze the juice of one-half lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of raw honey in it. Apply it on your face, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off.
Make a paste of 'Kasturi Manjal' (wild turmeric) with rose petals, saffron and raw milk which is very effective.
