Consult a Pediatrician immediately & get your baby evaluated. Crying a lot, refusing food etc. May be an indication of some underlying physical problem. As babies at this age cannot express themselves, so as a mother you should always observe him for any change of behavior & habits, which will give you lots of indication regarding his inner health. Along with, continue breast feeding & eat nutritious diet.

My 1.8 years old son not eating anything. Only depends on milk. How to feed solids to him.

General Physician,
My 1.8 years old son not eating anything. Only depends on milk. How to feed solids to him.
It's easy, start feeding him solids mixed with milk. Then decrease milk content keeping it semisolid. And he'll grow himself into eating solids. Wish you luck! Do revert if you need any further support.

Whatever he takes like paratha poha and fruits is good for his health because it is nutritious and healthy food, but it will be better if he start taking meal also. You can add some ghee on his paratha and give him 2 parathas in morning and in luch time, ask him what he wants to eat. Make something like his favourite dishes.

Hi seems your child is having allergic skin problem/A topic dermatitis. The best way to deal is to regularly use emollients to prevent dry skin and in areas with itching and scaling use of local low potency steroids like flutivate.

To augment the quantity of breast milk, take 1 gm roasted wheat flour, 10 gm walnut leaves, mix the two and prepare chapattis. Fry the chapattis in ghee made from cow's milk. Eating these chapattis for seven days increases the production of breast milk.

How do you deal with a one year old child who doesn't want to eat anything other than the mothers milk?

BHMS
Homeopath,
How do you deal with a one year old child who doesn't want to eat anything other than the mothers milk?
With patience!! I can understand that it is stressful but one has to wean gradually.you have to start by gradually allowing the baby to taste and try all the different types of foods available.first try with bland potatoes sweet potatoes, boiled carrots and peas.then you can spice up bit gradually.if he is not eating try to blend everything and then offer in a liquid or pasty manner.and try to feed him after he has played a while or when he has just woke up from his sleep.the times when they are actually hungry. don't offer food after the baby has been fed with breast milk. It is a very gradual process. It will be alarming only if the child starts showing signs of malnutrition, until then you just keep trying.
