Hello, Thanks for your query. Try an over-the-counter medicine containing simethicone, which helps to break down gas bubbles. You can try a process of elimination by substituting a gassy food for a non-gassy one, and see which one is giving you the most trouble. A few basic substitutions: • Rice milk for cow’s milk • Bananas, blueberries and melon for apples, peaches and plums • Gluten-free and spelt cereals and bread for wheat and rye products • Bamboo shoots, bok choy, carrot, celery, corn, eggplant, green beans, lettuce, chives, parsnip, pumpkin, and tomato for artichokes, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, okra, onions, and peas. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care

Here are some home remedies to cure acidity.  - Skip the aerated drinks as well as the caffeine. Opt for herbal tea instead.  - Have a glass of lukewarm water everyday.  - Include banana, watermelon and cucumber in your daily diet. Watermelon juice is great for curing acidity.  - Nariyal paani is known to soothe the system if you suffer from acidity.  - Drink a glass of milk - everyday.  - Have your last meal at least two to three hours before you hit the sack.  - Keeping long intervals between meals is another cause for acidity. Have small but regular meals.  - Try to avoid pickles, spicy chutneys, vinegar, etc.  - Boil some mint leaves in water and have a glass of this after meals.

Hello Find out the things that make the symptoms worse. Recognize stresses and strains in your life and develop a more relaxed lifestyle. Be less of a perfectionist in your approach to life. Avoid any foods that you can identify as causing the problem. A high fluid intake and a high-fibre diet may be the answer to your problem.

Dear lybrate-user. What you describe look like urinary tract infection. It could also be other more serous types of infections. Best idea is to show to a doctor in person for clinical examination and at least get a urine test done to see if there is infection. Your doctor might advise a ultra sonography of the abdomen also. Hope this helps.

Cholecystitis is an inflammation of the gallbladder wall; it may be either acute or chronic. It is almost always associated with cholelithiasis, or gallstones, which lodge in the gallbladder, cystic duct, or common bile duct. Lithiasis (stone formation) in the gallbladder is called cholelithiasis. Gallstones are formed in the gallbladder but may pass distally into other parts of the biliary tract such as the cystic duct, common bile duct, pancreatic duct or the ampulla of Vater. Inflammation of the gallbladder can be caused by gallstones, excessive alcohol use, infections, or even tumors that cause bile buildup. But the most common cause of cholecystitis is gallstones. The body can react to the gallstone irritation by causing the gallbladder walls to become swollen and painful. Treatment For symptomatic stones: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy or sometimes stone dissolution using ursodeoxycholic acid For asymptomatic stones: Expectant management Most asymptomatic patients decide that the discomfort, expense, and risk of elective surgery are not worth removing an organ that may never cause clinical illness. However, if symptoms occur, gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy) is indicated because pain is likely to recur and serious complications can develop.

Hyperacidity

Doctor of Medicine
General Physician, Surat
Hyperacidity
It is being known as heat burn, dyspepsia, acidity, incidence of this being increases, this is just due to life style changes, beside the medicines if better care are taken for life style, diet, exercise, then one may not have attack of this, at the time of heart burn, try some walking till you get enough of perspiration (there should not be any cardiac elements) because of this level of contains of gastric region comes down, below the esophagus valve (sphincter) so it may not reach high up to esophagus, it is kind of dehydration not enough to cause any clinical symptoms.
